Columbia basically supported the the weaker songs on the album..."Wild Wild West" (a soundtrack song), "Will 2K" (party pop), and "Freakin' It" (a watered down, oversampling "Jiggy Part 2). Nearly every other song on the album would have been a better choice. And the album could have gone on 4ever. Since it had so many different flavas, he could have easily went 5 singles deep.
Man AJ, we both are probably the most opposite thinking people this planet Earth has ever seen. :lolsign: I mean the three tracks you mentioned are my most favourite off "Willennium" apart from "I'm Coming" and I just LOOOVEED all the three music videos when they got released. I still turn up the volume of my TV very high when Freakin' It gets played and I enjoy watching that video.
Funny that we both like the same artist for totally different styles. :haha:

Yep. That's very much true. He did sell more than 10 million just off Ice Ice Baby and spent 16 weeks in the number 1 position of Billboard charts. That's why Vanilla Ice is a legendary phenomenon, whether you like him or not.

I feel adding a little bit more violence in MIIIB would do the trick. :2thumbs:

You have to stand on one leg and spin around shouting out "Rubber Baby Buggy Bumper!" Only then will you be a fully fledged Potna!
Hey, I did that even wearing a thong for Timothy. Still I couldn't make it in.

most importantly the masses won't be able to hear the great messages of "Party Starter" and "Tell Me Why",What you said is right, but do you think that majority of the people would give a damn about the messages even if the singles got released? I'm sure it would be forgotten once some other artist brings out a raunchy video with high sexual content. That's how sad the music industry is today.

Will is a very sensible and intelligent business man. That's why he has been so big for so many years.

I keep my mp3 collections in folders too. Like for a specific artist like Michael Jackson, I have subfolders for b-sides, albums, music videos, live videos, photos, misc. videos, etc. And I use Windows Media Player to view all the videos and play the songs. And as for automatically picking the song, I don't think it's possible. So I just press Shift and arrow keys to select a bunch of songs, and then open it together so around 5-6 songs of my selection would be playing over and over. I'm sure everybody does these same things when it comes to audio/video files.

Can someone find out who those two members are who voted for Mase? I'm really curious as to who would have voted for Mase in a Will Smith forum. :lolsign:

Maybe the radio host just isn't a big fan of rap. So I don't think we should blame him for not liking Party Starter. :hmm: :smart:

I haven't bought any album of theirs but I have been a fan of the track "Hip-Hop Hooray" for as long as I could remember. That's one of the best rap tracks of all time for me. :2thumbs:

If this information is true then I can see L&F bombing like Born To Reign
Why? Lost and Found has already gone Gold in the US and Platinum worldwide and it's first single is a Billboard Top 10 single and has entered the top 10 singles chart in almost every part of the world. So it's already a hit.

Breaking News: Album drops out of top 50
in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince

Man, I really like you. You still bring in humour in such serious posts. :lolsign:
Anywho, back to the subject. I don't think any of the mixtape DJs would want to put Will Smith in their mixtape circulation except for Jazzy. I mean with all due respect to Will, it would be sort of an image letdown for them if they promoted Will in the streets. Imagine Green Lantern putting out a Will Smith mixtape. So what Will should do is probably put out official mixtapes with Jeff like 50 Cent. 50 has put out 12 G-Unit Radio mixtapes in the past 2 years. That's like madness.
Next, there's like only one fan site for Will, which is this one. Whereas for 50 and Eminem, there are atleast 20 to 25 websites. So that itself is a huge setback for Will and for the people who want to check out Will's stuff in the net.
Third, in this era of music industry, unless Will says a bunch of f*cks and n*ggas and puts out videos with skank whores appearing in them, there's not much of chances of hitting the multi platinum mark.
Fourth, he should have released atleast 3 videos by today. But he didn't. So it shows that Will isn't much bothered about record sales because hell, he is a living legend. He is just doing this more for his happiness and to keep his core fans happy.
Fifth, he has got to start a beef with a mainstream rapper and have as much verbal assault towards that rapper through TV and audio. This would guarantee him multi-plat success. :lolsign:
Sixth, the album is already a success for today's standards.
Seventh, I like Wes.
