windows movie maker is actually fairly good for simple messing around with music. Although you'll have to find a wma > mp3 converter to get it back to mp3...

Totally agree, the early Eminem was genius... thankfully I decided not to listen to any new material (because I knew it sucked) so as to not ruin the early albums which I still listen to...
