TYRESE GIBSON is turning his back on his music career to focus on Hollywood - after a heart-to-heart with rapper-turned-actor WILL SMITH. The Transformers hunk had success in singing and modelling before hitting the big screen, but he's now looking to establish himself as a Hollywood A-lister after taking advice from superstar Smith. And the talk has not only given Gibson a new perspective on his future career - he has a new leaner physique too. He says, "I had one of the heaviest and deepest conversations with Will Smith and he said to me, 'Tyrese, you are 29 years old, and I just turned 40... If you take this acting thing serious for the next three years it's gonna change your life forever.' So I shut down everything on the music side and I lost about forty six pounds training with Will Smith and his trainer Darrel Forster, and it's just pure film focus now man. "Everyone in music is trying to transition into Hollywood. I figure I'm here with Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg and all the other A-listers, I can't take the situation for granted anymore, and keep doing movies and music and music and movies... going back and forth. So I just cleared out everything that's got to do with music. I'll totally focus on acting and see how far this takes me." http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/artic...%20talk_1096897

Will Smith Calls Original Karate Kid for Advice Will Smith gave Ralph Macchio quite the surprise recently, calling the Karate Kid star out of the blue to talk about his remake of the 1984 film. Smith's a producer on the updated kickfest, and his son Jaden is set to star. "It was very cool," Macchio tells E! News. "He called and said, 'Would you mind getting on the phone with my son?' I felt like Yoda to young Skywalker." The original Daniel-san, who currently has a guest spot on ABC's Ugly Betty, said Jaden was "adorable and completely respectful and excited. I just told him to have fun. That was my advice." Macchio also says he might have talked a bit too "candidly" when he first spoke out about the remake in January... At the time, Macchio said that he would not be involved with the remake and that he wasn't sure about the casting of Jackie Chan as Mr. Miyagi, originally played by the late Pat Morita. But today Macchio told us, "I spoke too candidly about that at first. Look, I will look at anything that crosses the desk on it. But I really think for the sake of the connection to those films and certainly the original film, I think that they're going to want to create their own version of it that is its own thing." He also said that a cameo doesn't interest him. "If it was a character, a written role, I would not turn away looking at that," he told us. "I support them making their own hit franchise." http://www.comcast.net/articles/entertainm...090305/b102798/

"I was mouthing the other actor's lines !"
Ale replied to Romano338's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I knew he had done this sometimes, but I didn't know there were so many scenes where he does it. I never looked at Will while the other characters were talking, lol. Why didn't they tell him to stop doing it before? Didn't they notice it either or what? -

I don't think something like this can be forgiven and forgotten in only 3 weeks...

I know what you mean, but if she weren't famous I'd criticize her too. If she was a girl I know or something I'd tell her she's stupid because she's doing exactly what she shouldn't do. Rihanna probably needs support now more than never, but she's the one who isn't helping. Until she realizes she can't be with a guy like Chris (I repeat, if all these stories we have heard or read are true), then nobody can help her. She's the one who has to make the first step.
-
This could destroy not only Chris' career, but also hers. I'm not a big fan of Rihanna, but if I were I'd be really upset with her decisions.

If this is true, Rihanna is dumb.

Schwarzenegger joins the cast of THE EXPENDABLES!
Ale replied to Ale's topic in Caught in the Middle
Video: Arnold Schwarzenegger Confirms "Expendables" Cameo About a week ago, Sylvester Stallone has hinted that he got Arnold Schwarzenegger to make a cameo in his upcoming "The Expendables" film. Now, Schwarzenegger has confirmed to ABC's George Stephanopoulos that he is more than happy to appear in the movie. "Since I've become governor I've done three cameos when friends ask me and Sly asked me if I would do a cameo," he explained. "I said of course I would help you do a cameo, there's no two ways about that." Stephanopoulos also tried to find out what Schwarzenegger's plans are after his term as a Governor runs out. Unfortunately, Arnold is still in politician mode and thus gave a very politician-type answer. Watch the video below to see Arnold's full reply. http://www.worstpreviews.com/headline.php?...197&count=0 -

Haha, it was pretty funny when Will said it :muahaha:

I watched the whole ceremony. I stayed awake all the night, but it was worth it. I love the Oscars. I'm so happy Ledger won, it was an amazing moment. I'm also happy for the success of 'Slumdog Millonaire'. I enjoyed that movie much more than 'Benjamin Button'. And of course, I'm happy because we saw the first ever Spanish actress who gets an Oscar. Congratz Penélope! :clap2: Will was funny. He presented some awards (4 if I remember well). Ben Stiller was fantastic. His Joaquin Phoenix imitation made me laugh. I missed Clint Eastwood though. He should have been nominated to Best Director for his movie 'Changeling'. Anyways, these are some pics of Will/Jada.
