Stallone, Arnie, Willis film 'Expendables' Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis have filmed their scene together for The Expendables. The '80s action movie stars, who launched the Planet Hollywood restaurant together in 1991, united this Saturday for Stallone's latest film, about a team of mercenaries who head to South America to take down a dictator. Ethelmae's Blog, which is linked to the production, described the key scene as "atomic". "At 8:10am with three cameras rolling the biggest action icons of our time went to work," wrote the blogger. "I thought it was electric in Brazil when all of the Expendables stepped on set - but today was atomic!!!! The whole crew was mesmerised as we watched the three of them play off of each other in a pivotal scene that sets up the whole movie. "While I can't/don't want to give too much away I can tell you that Arnold's character is Trench and Bruce is Church, the scene was shot in an empty church without extras and minimal set." Describing the trio's reunion further, the site continued: "I walked to the set with [Arnold] and watched as the 3 guys greeted each other with excitement and anticipation. "Bruce looked amazing - very fit, beautiful bald head and that smirky smile. Sly looked relaxed but definitely ready to put this puppy to bed. Arnold had a stogie in his mouth, a giant watch on his arm and was constantly making jokes." The Expendables is scheduled to open in cinemas on August 20, 2010. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/movies/news/a183876/stallone-arnie-willis-film-expendables.html

Chris Brown says Will Smith reached out to him Chris Brown says Hollywood megastar Will Smith was one of the first people to reach out to him when his life began to unravel. October 21, 2009, (Splash News) - Chris Brown says Hollywood megastar Will Smith was one of the first people to reach out to him when his life began to unravel. Brown, who is serving probation and community service for assaulting singer Rihanna, told a New York radio station: "As a young black man myself, I need older black male role models to step in and kind of mould me, not people bashing me, 'cause that's not how you learn from mistakes." Brown said Smith offered him advice after he assaulted Rihanna, his former girlfriend. When he was asked how people should feel about him, he said: "Honestly, with me, it's not a thing about how you should feel. Just be human. Because at the end of the day, I'm human. Of course you're gonna have your thoughts and opinions. I'm not gonna say they're wrong. But at the end of the day, it's not right to judge someone. People make mistakes all the time. I'm learning from my mistakes everyday and I regret it every second." Brown is subject to a restraining order to stay away from Rihanna. http://www.sawfnews.com/gossip/60911.aspx#

Fresh Prince of Albert Square ... that’s megastar Will Smith
Ale posted a topic in Will Smith Movies
HOLLYWOOD megastar Will Smith is desperate to land his dream role - on EASTENDERS. Will has begged BBC bosses for a cameo on Albert Square after becoming obsessed with the show. The former Fresh Prince of Bel Air's addiction started when he visited the UK this year promoting his film Seven Pounds. Will, 41 - Hollywood's highest paid actor last year - said: "I was just chilling in my hotel and EastEnders was on TV. I didn't even know what it was, but I literally could not stop watching it. "It was like a week's worth of episodes in one. Before I knew it, all I had done was get room service and waste a whole afternoon watching this show I'd never heard of! "It was so real and gritty. American soaps are all about the beautiful people and being cheesy. This soap had everything. "There was fighting, people sleeping around - it had it all going on! I'm a bit busy but when things quieten down I'd love to do a cameo. I could make a big entrance in the pub, as you guys call it, and be like: 'Hey, girl let's take this outside.' " Will wants to start a campaign to get the soap shown on BBC America once more. The channel axed 'Enders broadcasts in the US in 2003. It is now shown only on a subscription satellite channel. The star added: "If the BBC boys are reading this, sort it out, man and start showing it again! Get it back on our TV screens." http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/2688410/Hollywood-star-Will-Smith-is-desperate-to-land-his-dream-role-in-British-soap-opera-EastEnders.html -
If you were a fan of the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, then you'll want to tune in for this Thursday's episode of GSN's Catch 21. Three former "Banks" family members will be playing the game! Host Alfonso Ribeiro played Carlton Banks on the show, which was hugely popular from 1990-1996 (go ahead, go do The Carlton for a moment, I'll wait... ). Co-stars James Avery (Philip Banks), Tatyana Ali (Ashley Banks), and Karyn Parsons (Hilary Banks) will all be on hand for this Fresh Prince reunion episode of Catch 21. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air starred Will Smith, who I guess had other plans the day of the game show taping. It was also responsible for one of the most instantly recognized, easily stuck in your head, ripe for the parodying theme songs of any sitcom, ever. This should be a fun episode to watch! The show begins at 6:30pm Eastern, Thursday October 22nd, on GSN. http://gameshows.about.com/b/2009/10/20/fresh-prince-of-bel-air-reunion-on-catch-21-this-week.htm

Exclusive: Independence Day Sequel Stalled By Fox The possibility of a sequel for 1996’s "Independence Day" has been long talked about. Over the years producer/writer Dean Devlin has been very coy about not saying a word regarding a film that grossed over $800 million worldwide. Back in 2004 Devlin and Roland Emmerich began writing an outline for a script but in the end it didn’t work out. In 2008, 20th Century Fox CEO Tom Rothman spoke with IESB.net's Robert Sanchez about the status of "ID4 2" and Rothman said; "We would love to do it, it's really a matter of Roland, it's up to Roland. He knows that we'd love to do it. I don't think there is a script but there have been a lot of ideas, but the truth of the matter is he's been making other films. He made "Day After Tomorrow" for us, big hit movie, he's doing "2012" for Sony. But, any day that Roland wanted to do that, we would be very excited to do it because I think, yes, that story definitely can and should continue." Really???? So it’s up to Roland Emmerich? Well lucky for me I had a chance to speak exclusively to him, while he's promoting "2012," and asked him the question every fan is dying to ask him such as what’s up with "ID4 2." Here is what he had to say about it. LatinoReview: I heard there was a script for a sequel. What’s the real reason there is no sequel? Emmerich: Dean Devlin and I are still set to make a sequel likely because we’ve found some sort of idea and we approached FOX and FOX has not quite figured out how to incorporate Dean’s and my deal, and Will’s (Smith) deal. Will wants to do it in some sort of a package they can live with. So it's just been in negations now since forever, and naturally FOX says “Why don’t you do it without Will Smith?” I said Will is essential for us, for this movie and actually for the audience too. And, so, it's in limbo and lately the studios are fighting. Like gross players, and Will is a gross player and is probably the only gross player right now who’s worth his gross. So we’ll see what happens. I would love to do it. LatinoReview: But there is a story right? Emmerich: Oh yeah! There’s a story. There’s a very really good great story, a very cool one. LatinoReview: Can you elaborate on it? Emmerich: No, I think Dean would like burst through this door… So there you have it the truth from Emmerich himself. And the fact that there is a script done already is awesome to hear. The question I'd like to know is where does FOX think they have the guts to ask, DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN DO A SEQUEL WITHOUT WILL SMITH? Are you guys nuts? That’s just my opinion. http://www.latinoreview.com/news/exclusive-independence-day-sequel-stalled-by-fox-8233

Jada's blood ties IT IS always a family affair for American actress Jada Pinkett Smith when it comes to work. When someone in her family is working on a project, she says the whole clan joins in. The Pursuit Of Happyness, made three years ago, was the first time her husband, Will Smith, starred with her son, Jaden, in a movie. It probably will not be the last time, although 11-year-old Jade's third movie project, Kung Fu Kid, will feature daddy only as a producer. 'Everyone is usually involved in some kind of way because it doesn't make sense to have so much talent in our family and not utilise it,' says Pinkett Smith. She was talking to Life! over the telephone from Beijing, where the family has travelled to support Jaden, who is there to film Kung Fu Kid with Jackie Chan. Kung Fu Kid is a remake of 1984's The Karate Kid. The family togetherness also extends to her latest TV project, Hawthorne, a hospital drama revolving around chief nurse Christina Hawthorne, played by Pinkett Smith. Her children are clamouring to be in the series and she hopes to include daughter, Willow, nine, next season. 'Jaden had a recurring role in All Of Us, a sitcom that Will and I created in 2003, and his career jumpstarted from there. So now we're going to put Willow on,' she says. Saucy Marge Simpson is set to strip off for next month's Playboy magazine. Bart, Lisa and Maggie will be left cringing as their blue-haired mum bares all for the famous glamour mag. And Homer is sure to get a ribbing when he next goes down to Moe's Tavern for a glass of Duff with his mates. The little town of Springfield was shocked to hear the news after Hugh Hefner tweeted of a "surprise" for fans of the blue-haired temptress. Sources have confirmed to entertainment channel E! that Marge will feature in a three-page pictorial complete with a front page shot. November's Playboy special comes as The Simpsons celebrate their 20th anniversary. There is no indication yet as to just how much Marge is set to reveal. http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Showbiz-News/Marge-Simpson-Set-To-Pose-For-Playboy-Magazine-Says-Hugh-Hefner/Article/200910215402736?lpos=Showbiz_News_Carousel_Region_4&lid=ARTICLE_15402736_Marge_Simpson_Set_To_Pose_For_Playboy_Magazine_Says_Hugh_Hefner
