    I've lost almost all of my respect for Jay (it's more like I lost all of it, but now I feel better) after I saw what I saw about his song, I don't remember the title, but if you flip it over and play you hear awful things.

    There are rappers I like from the first time I hear them, Jay is not one of them. Sorry, I didn't match the topic :sorry:

    I think i know what you're talking about. It was the video where someone was playing it in Church, right?

    That song was the Interlude on DJ DangerMouse's "The Grey Album" (A Project Jay Z had NOTHING to do with). Danger Mouse Pieced all that together. I guess to an extent he was trying to be artistic, since there are a lot of rumors that the Beatles purposely put backwards messages in some their music (I don't know if that was Danger Mouses intent though, just my assumption).....Jay had nothing to do with the track. Danger Mouse just randomly pieced together vocals from "Threats".

    He said it himself..."So hard to break away from a guaranteed 20"...

    He's become one of the top actors, if not the biggest actor, in Hollywood right now. acting is something he likes doing. He may love Hip Hop, but as long as those Movie Rolls keeping coming in (Which they will), it'll be hard to properly promote an album. I mean the label can't have him do Letterman for his album once, then take 5 months off to film a movie.

    And there are already what, at least 3 or 4 rumored movies with Will's name attached, and he's still currently filming one. It must be hard for him to find the time....You know I'd love for a new album, or even just a new song, but you'd have to assume that it's really hard to juggle the 2 (Rapping and Acting), and acting just has a bigger guaranteed check.

    I know it isn't all about the money with him when it comes to rapping, but you guys see where I'm coming from right?

    haha...yea, Live NFL Games are fun. I've only gotten a chance to go to one (Broncos @ Raiders in 2005)...But it was a good time. Would have been a little better if the home team hadn't gotten blown out, but it was still fun.....lol...

    I don't think it would do him any better. As long as he keeps with the movie schedules (Which there is noting wrong with), he'll never have that time to be able to promote an album on his own...

    Yea maybe Interscope did kind of drop the ball in promotion, but he needs to be available too...

    It's gotta be pretty hard for him to keep up with all the scheduling, and movie shoots, and going to an underground label, where he might have to be a little more independent with the promotion might be even harder...
