Does anyone have a CD Quality version of this? The one I have is low quality, but wasn't a clearer version put on ITunes a few months back? Does a better quality version exist?

I was thinking the other day, I kind of want to see Will in the Role of a "Villain" in a drama, so to speak.

He's not saying Soulja Boy is Fresh Prince 2008. Just that JJFP and Rakim have different sounds. He said nothing about good or bad. He didn't rank anybody...
JJFP sounded one way, Rakim sounded another. They both were releasing music at the same time...But Both were still respected. Today, Soulja Boy sounds different from Jay Z. That variety still exists. Different sounds are still alive in Hip Hop. There is this, and then there is that.
I don't agree with the part that you HAVE to respect or like Soulja Boy's music, but I get his point. He should have made it clearer, though.
-
He didn't compare them talent wise....He didn't say Soulja Boy is on the same level. He's basically saying that Hip Hop has always had different things, and variety. It never said JJFP wasn't good, just that they are different from Rakim, and both existed at and around the same time.
At least that's how I interpreted it. I don't see this as anything to get upset over.

Nas is listed in the credits for "Chasing Forever" and "Yes Yes Y'all".
I also remember hearing that he helped with "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" and "Just Cruisin'"
-
Do you think they'll release an unrated version, or a directors cut of this? Because just reading that article, and the comments there, it sounds like a lot of stuff was cut out just to get the PG13 rating...
Or maybe I'm misreading and everything was changed pre-production...Just Script changes before filming started?

Alright that's 4...
6-8 Spots left.

Backstory: Apparently Jay Z was asked to headline The Glastonbury Music Festival in Europe...
“If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. If you start to break it then people aren’t going to go. I’m sorry' date=' but Jay-Z? No chance… Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music and even when they throw the odd curve ball in on a Sunday night you go ‘Kylie Minogue?’ I don’t know about it. But I’m not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It’s wrong.” -Noel Gallagher [of Oasis']So Jay had a little fun with that...

Will can either make a movie that breaks records at the box office, or record an album that struggles to go Gold..
Sadly, it's hard to sell in Hip Hop these days. It's hard to get a hit. That's what most of "Lost and Found" was about. The album could be the best album he's put out in 20 years, and it'll still be hard for him to sell...The fact that record Sales are dropping, coupled with the state of the Hip Hop...I think he realizes it might not be worth it right now..
Meanwhile...His movies will ALWAYS do good. He's a great actor. People are waiting for his next movie. People are excited when a new one is announced...
He KNOWS the movie will do good...He HOPES the album will do good...
As much as I want new music from him..I kind of understand. Hip Hop has gotten to the point where he's accomplished almost all he could, by no fault of his own...He can still grow as a musician, but it's harder. He spells that out in "I wish I Made That", and "Lost & Found"...
I don't know, that's the way I see it...You know he still loves music, but he has to focus on what will give him the most success RIGHT NOW...And that's acting...
As a fan of his music, I don't like it...But I can respect it.

Thanks for listenin' :signthankspin:

I'll make a league if we can get 10-12 people...

Wow...I didn 't know you made it Vipa! Cool to see your work on other websites!
Yea. I guess no "Publicity" is bad "Publicity"...I posted a link to my Youtube Page at that site, and over at the AllHipHop boards (There was a topic about this), and my Page saw a few more hits overnight...So I guess this can work to my advantage :)
-
lol, wow...
I made this out of boredom and posted it on another message board as a joke...And to my surprise, most of them liked it. This is the LAST thing of mine i'd expect to get this kind of attention, lol.
And actually, now that I think about it...I can use this to my advantage, and get more people to listen to my serious stuff..
