Sounds so good...i can't wait. De La has been screaming "We hate this song" when they do "Me, Myself, and I" for over 10 years...ha ha. Tho' i don't they did that when i saw them live 8 years ago.

This sounds insanely annoying. I doubt i'll go anywhere near a theater showing this. People are people, we have our beliefs but there is no reason 2 openly insult or try 2 upset people who don't agree with u. Period. People with no faith at all should keep their mouths shut becuz they don't have any reason 2 stand up for anything. They are just running their mouth 2 get attention and make others unhappy or uncomfortable which i believe is a pathetic way 2 exist.

I'm right with u. I used 2 watch BET all day long. Now i almost never watch it. I put 106 + Park on when they have a guest that i like on. Other than that, i watch TV show reruns that have nothing 2 do with BET that are, for the most part, on DVD. I remember a report that was done about 10 years ago. They compared MTV, VH-1, and BET and BET got the best review. They played the least amount of videos that had something explict in them (lyrics, images, etc). BET was once views as a very respectable network. Once it left Maryland and more than half of the offices went to New York, it started unwinding.

BET is almost as bad as MTV these days. The recent issue of Vibe has an article on how they declined since the 90's. Back then, they had 70% music programing compared to 20% today. They talked about how they dumped relevant shows like Teen Summit, BET News, and Caribian Rhythms (Rachel was soooooo fine). All their shows now suck and they are leaning more and more towards a commerical-only support of music. VH-1 should start a Hip-Hop sister station. After all, they've had Behind The Music specials on LL Cool J and other artists. They put together great documentarys like Last Days of Left Eye. Their Hip-Hop weeks and Hip-Hop Honors are some of the best specials i've ever seen.

KENNY LATTIMORE - You Are My Starship Timeless (2008)

I've slept on Murs. This sounds pretty good...i think i'm gonna scoop this album up.

I can't say i really care. Commercial Rap sucks. All of it. I haven't watched Rap City in a few years. I never say Big Tigger as corny. I grew up listening 2 him on the radio so when he got on Rap City, i was hyped. Around the time he left, the commercial side of music had gotten so bad that i couldn't bare 2 watch it anymore. As far as i know, Rap City no longer repped Hip-Hop music or culture for awhile. I remember back in the day when they would air all old school and 90's videos. Those were my favorite. When stuff like this happens, it's a reflection of what's popular. It takes fools like 50 Cent, Lil' Jon, Young Jeezy, and Lil' Wayne to do this. If JJ+FP, LL Cool J, Ice Cube, Public Enemy, A Tribe Called Quest, Queen Latifah were runnin' the mainstream with intellegence and class, this kinda thing would never happen. The real Rap City has been off the air for years which is why i'm used 2 missing it.

Hmmmm.....this sounds like it should be album filler...not a single. Q-Tip is on point. The concept is nice. The beat is lacking and D'Angelo's chorus is uninspired.

Excellent interview. I think she was a bit over dramatic at a place or 2 but this sounds like the accurate story from her point of view. She does need to let it go tho.' I don't see how publishing a book will do that. Writing that should have did it...not releasing it, but whatever. I hope she's done with it all after this. Her and FP really need to make up.

Wow...alot of negative energy. Movies like this are closer 2 where my mind is at these days. After I Am Legend and Hancock, i deserve a movie like this. I could only want a new BB or MIB movie over this. I bet u this movie is gonna be huge and that overall, audiences are gonna love...beyond it being a "Will Smith" movie.

There's a crazy big He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper poster i remember seeing in music stores back when i waz a kid. Every once in a awhile i see it on ebay but i haven't gotten it yet. I'd love 2 have them displayed side by side one day.

It's crazy u posted this. I've been watching Code Red posters for years but have never gotten it. I was just thinking about it 2 days ago since i'll have a new place in 3 months or so. i'm thinkin' i'd have it framed in my "music room."

Yeah, there's no news or legit source. It just sounds like some 12 year old who loves gangsta rap and thinks the 3 of them rep Hip-Hop 2 the fullest wrote it. Nobody cares about 50 Cent anymore...only his loyal fans. Everyone else is sick of him and see's that he's a washed up gimmick who doesn't know when 2 quit. Who knows what's up with Eminem. He showed us one of the worse declines in the history of Hip-Hop and Rap. He went from a witty, edgy individual to slowly conform and be a negative, obnoxious cry baby who can dish it but not take it coming back at him. Dr. Dre went from being a pioneer, to a creative visionary, to a sell-out, to an ultra sell out. I can't wait 2 listen 2 the new Dr. Dre album, but i can't say my expectations are high. He's surrounded himself with untalented people who make bad music. The only dope artists who where truely talented don't really stay close by his side. Chronic 2001 was a good album with great production. But u can't go from "gangsta rap is wack...gangsta rap is dead...i'm gonna stop writing vulgar lyrics and do profanity, violence-free albums" to talking about guns, weed, and surrounding yourself with new jack wannabes. I do wanna hear it and i will have an open mind, but his decisions kinda turn me off. Same with Eminem, he's been so annoying since 2001 that it's hard 4 me 2 see him coming back 2 his authentic sound with the insanely clever and funny lyrics over real Hip-Hop beats.

That's really annoying. Is it worth contacting them 2 see what's up. I gotta admit, i only check YouTube for some funny stuff or rare stuff. Otherwise, i don't use it often.

I agree with Tim. Those songs Tim listed shouldn't even be in the top 200. I only like 8 songs out of the ones he listed. U gotta mix the old with the new i guess 2 be fair. So many classics were overlooked. When it comes 2 new music, none of the new ones listed were amoungst the best of recent music. I'm just happy that it's better than most lists like this and that they are supporting alot of artists who have been forgotten by those not down with the old school.

I can't believe some of u are supporting this idea. Then again, some people actually wanted there 2 be a sequel to Independence Day. The movie stands alone. It has enough flashbacks there there's no reason for a prequel. There is no more story left to tell. Especially since the first one wasn't even that good. There is a 99% chance they will not be able 2 come up with a decent script therefore if they make the movie, there is a 99% chance it will be an hour and a half worth of crap so that they can make some money. The average movie goer probably won't think there's a reason for a sequel either and i doubt it'll do what the 1st one did. The movie is already forgettable to me. After I Am Legend and Hancock, it looks like Seven Pounds is gonna save his career. After that, maybe they need 2 focus on another Bad Boys or Men In Black before their time is up...especially becuz we need a movie where he's doing "that Will Smith thing."

He's never done ANY serious singing in his career. "Willow Is A Playa" on Born To Reign is the only real semi-singing attempt and the song is more of a clever comedy type song anyway...nothing 2 be taken as a serious singing attempt. I'm sure he can carry a tune, but i don't want him dropping any R-N-B/Soul/Jazz/Pop albums like Queen Latifah...ha ha.
