I didn't say he was you're usual domestic abuser, I said the buying of the presents was a classic case of what a domestic abuser does.

The just snapped argument is bull****, Turn, if you have that little self control, you have big problems. That goes for any person who attacks anyone, not just domestic violence. The bigger person walks away if the argument becomes too heated. It's not justifiable to say "he/she pushed me too far", thats a pathetic excuse. It's like saying it's acceptable as long as you apologise after. If Chris really is seeking help, I commend him for it, but until he can prove 100% it will never happen again, which will be extremely hard, Rihanna, in my opinion, should stay as far away from him as possible. The best help Chris can have is being a man and accepting the punishment for his actions. I'm sure she does still love him, love doesn't dissapear in the space of 2-3 weeks. But love is blind, and whilst she may still love him, at present, in my opinion, being together isn't whats best for either of them. I'd say the same to every man/woman in the same situation.

Love? Thats the cliche yeah, low self esteem is what it really is. Although its hard to beleive someone as attractive and as famous as Rihanna could have low self esteem. It happens to the best of people, and the abuser takes full advantage and makes the victim think it's all their fault they get abused. Every woman/man thats ever been a victim of domestic violence, need to know they are worth more.

All depends. If reports are true that he said "I'm going to kill you" whilst assaulting her and then fled leaving her unconscious. I could see how that could be seen as attempted murder. But this is why wee need the truth to come out.
