  1. Ah ****, missed this. Next time, I'll beat you all.
  2. "It's is a live tape from 1985 at the YMCA on 52nd St. in Philly with Jazzy Jeff, Cash Money, Grandmaster Nell, Spinbad & Force Five Productions." So-so quality; http://www.zshare.net/audio/6937311396ac0f6c/
  3. Not surprised. And not sure I'm that sad about it either. I prefer they pick someone better for the part. (I'm trying some psychology stuff now, saying; WILL! Prove me wrong!)
  4. Well before we used to say he is focusing on movies so thats why he doesnt do any music..the fact he spent 4 years doing no movies and didn't release any music in that time makes it all the more disappointing :monkey1: Well... in a way but... at the same time, I can understand that he wanted a couple of years off after that busy life since he was a teenager. I think it's hard to blame him.
  5. Not a big fan of the movie star Will Smith... more the rapper. But still, I look forward to this. It'll probably be easy fun to watch.
  6. I'm pretty sure MIB3 is the last shot... If he makes some kind of hit then, then he might do another album. Otherwise, I think not - not for a very long time anyway, perhaps when he's less interesting in Hollywood. But i'll think he'll go live every now and then though.
  7. A little worried about these young stars... child stars often have a pretty bad hangover a decade later or so. Hope Will & Jada's experience will solve that though, but you never know.
  8. Weak year though... pretty happy Social Network didnt win too much.
  9. Oh sweet, thought it was gone forever when it was taken off Youtube... but I guess on the Internet nothin's gone forever.
  10. Always refreshing when someone says what he wants to say instead of what will make him most popular - whether it's Turntable or Lupe Fiasco doesn't matter.
  11. Pretty true, but if I could get good at it, I would. But I lack all kind of musicality.
  12. Considering it was one of the firsty twenty rap recordings ever made (I think she was the second first female rapper who got to release something, after Sha-Rock of the Funky Four + One) it's pretty neat.
  13. Yes. Pharcyde, JJFP, Slick Rick, Outkast, People Under the Stairs, GMF&F5, Lupe Fiasco, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Digable Planets, Rakim, BDP, Brand Nubian, Spearhead, Fugees and so on...
  14. Yes, she's a legend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XT5zQmjGxg4
  15. Maybe they should pick an actress instead of some random good-looking singer.
  16. Yes, okey, I see your points - but if you one day wake up and think "Damn, I need to teach my five year old kid about the Warsaw Radio Mast, but he cant read - what am I supposed to do? And I want to dance as well!", then you would consider playing my track, right?
  17. Oh, and one more thing, I have a friend who makes some kind of electro music. I think his stuff is great, but I don't know a lot about that style of music. I'm very curious of your opinions about his stuff as well.
  18. You know, people often say that today's music lack meaningful lyrics and intelligent messages, so I started a career as The Educational Rapper and have already released two songs; This first track is about the radio mast in Warsaw, Poland. My issue with this track is that it is potentially racist against black's, white's and polacks and probably derogatory against Al Gore and maybe it's dissing the nineties in some way as well. It is also quite possibly that it's sort of hailing all those things. I don't know. Lyrics; Do you remeber the Warsaw Radio Mast? Of all the buildings, it was the highest Sixhundred and forty six meters tall, It was the biggest of them all It was the cock of a thousand negroes, No white trash chick weighed those kilos Designed by Jan Polak in nineteen seventy four It was twenty six years yonger than Al Gore Warsaw (radio mast) Warsaw (radio mast) Warsaw (radio mast) But one day in ninetyninety one, **** fell down They were changing wires and it fell down Some people died and some people cried Poland was in a shock and lit candles of light They planned to put it back, But the local residents thought it was wack So if you wanna see it you gotta relax Lean back and imagine it while hearin this track The second song is about some kind of ugly flightless bird from New Zeeland called Kakapo. Lyrics; There is a bird named kakapo It lives on New Zeeland yes it do Its sort of a parrot with no wings It can walk but can't do other things I dont know what it smells like But I know it looks totally alright It might taste well, I dont know But if i had the chance I would have a go ITS THE KAKAPO OF NEW ZEELAND IT GIVES ME THAT COOL FEEL MAN I LOVE THIS FLIGHTLESS MOTHER****ER IT DOESNT REMIND ME OF CHRIS TUCKER Then the cat came to New Zeeland It came there and got the Kakapo eaten So they moved the bird to some island And now it seems it will stay alive yeah Theres about a hundred of them now And they all got different names, wow The government of New Zeeland likes them and offer them all kind of protection What do ya'll think? After all... I don't know people that got better taste of rap than you.
  19. Happy birthday! That dream of yours sound pretty good. You didn't remember the lyrics he was rapping..?
  20. That quote about today's rap.. it could be used the same way today as in 1996.
  21. I think it's kind of disgusting.. she's ten years old.
  22. I'm pretty curious about it.. but like with all Hollywood productions, I keep my expectations low.
