    100 Ways to Save Hip-Hop

I agree with most of that, but who raps about UFO's????? I'd like to hear that.
  3. Don't call your group 1982 if you're making music like 2010. Very misleading and personally, it's a slap in the face to classic hip-hop.

I don't like 50's music, but I like how he's standing up for real hip-hop. As far as I'm concerned, Diddy was NEVER real hip-hop. He was always "pop rap" as far as I remember. Real rappers don't write checks, they write RHYMES. Diddy's the opposite. "Puff Daddy, enough already. Now it's P. Diddy, still sounds s**tty." - Afroman: "Whack Rappers"
  5. I just found out that the go-go group E.U. (famous for "Da Butt") has a bunch of albums I never heard. I am having trouble downloading their albums "Go Ju Ju Go" and "Make Money", as well as some of their 12" singles. If anyone has these to share, I could share some of theirs that I have.
  6. I did the second album myself from vinyl, but the first album is good quality also. One of the best rap groups ever I think. http://www.sendspace.com/file/dne32t http://www.sendspace.com/file/kgi94v
  7. This is a new league starting tomorrow, with ex-NFL players (i.e. Simeon Rice) and recent NFL cuts. Debut teams are in San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York, and Orlando. Games will be played on weekdays and some Saturdays. More info at http://www.ufl-football.com and http://www.uflaccess.com. I'm excited about it.
  8. LA's original rap station KDAY is back playing more old school and without annoying DJ babble. They played Parents... yesterday! Listen to 93.5 FM or online at 935kday.com.
  9. Just wondering if anyone here has the "Fat Boys Are Back" CD, if they can hook me up with the songs? The downloads that I find are not the best quality. Thanks.
  10. Just listening to the CD last weekend, and I wondered if there was any interview, video, or something out there of the making of the album. I'm interested in that stuff, how the songs were written, produced, etc.

    The making of DJ...Rapper?

I don't think the full 12" album will fit on one CD, I tried, it's like a min. or two over. "Another Special Announcement" could go on the second CD, but this is still a great idea.

    The making of DJ...Rapper?

I was unclear what you meant by "made the album", my bad.

    The making of DJ...Rapper?

The album credits say it was recorded in London, so is that a lie?

    Fat Boys reunion

OMG this is awesome! They are one of my faves of all time! There is only one perfect man to be the third Fat Boy: Biz Markie!!! He's fat, he can beat box, he can rap, he's got the sense of humor, and more importantly he's got the respect and love from the hip hop community. Some unknown or "reality star" may work out, but it's a gamble.

The 25 worst rappers of all time..

This dude can't draw the line between "rappers" as a career and "people trying to rap" as in celebrities. What does he expect from Elvira, Dan Akroyd and athletes??? Of course they can't rap! Nor did they claim to be rappers! They wern't intending to be serious about it.

The 25 worst rappers of all time..

I agree with most of those on the list, but this person obviously hasn't heard the title track to DJ...Rapper. That song alone proves he's better than the other 24. "Man I really, really, really, really, really, really hate when people doubt my ability, and I have to show superiority..."

Yo AJ, you getting into rap sounds a lot like me, same time frame, rappin/beatboxin with your friends, everything. Some of my first tapes were Raising Hell, Bigger & Deffer, Big & Beautiful and JJ+FP's DJ..Rapper. I liked R&B in the early 90's (BBD, Boyz II Men, etc.) with hints of hip-hop but still focused on good singing and being more upbeat. My musical range goes from Metallica to rap, from british rock (Radiohead, etc.) to wild experimental stuff. I get in moods to listen to different music, and weather and time of day factors into the decisions.

    New Ice Cube video

Just him! No singin, no special guests, all Cube. The way it should be. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzeZhCt5PVA

IBWin wit my crewin! Bonnie & Clyde Theme! It's A Man's World! She was good on that to counter Cube's insults, roasted him good. Haha, this is funny, I'm selling my Yo-Yo tapes on ebay right now...I should wait until her show comes out.

Disco Duck LOL Nice. He's not wrong for complaining, he cares about what hip-hop has become.

I just heard a mashup of Snoop's "Drop It Like It's Hot" with AC/DC's "Back In Black" on the radio last week. Anyone know where to get it or does someone have it?
