I live slap bang in the middle of England, and only been to London a handful of times. Quite daunting really.

Lets hope we all win.

Haha, i'd love to meet up with any of you guys, but unfortunately, as I said before I gotta work :(, and even so i live over 400 miles away...

If it wasn't slap bang in the middle of summer, I wouldn't be workin so would probably be able to make it, specially if it's after 6th September coz hopefully then I will have (hopefully) passed my driving test and could drive anywhere, woohoo!

Julie, from Liverpool im sure you can get direct to Sheffield quite easily on the train, then there are trains every hour or so that go to London St Pancras station from there. I guess im kinda lucky cos i can grab a train from my hometown that goes straight to London. But i agree its just that travelling around London bit thats the worse, The underground is abit daunting

Keep an eye on your wallets and handbags when on the underground! I've seen people try it when I've been visiting in the past (yes, even in crowded carriages)... Also, don't put your hand under the arm rests on the underground and try to make minimum contact with as much as you can. Edited by Prince

haha - know what u mean prince! You're stood on the train and it goes round a bend and then you try and balance yourself just by using one fingertip on the cleanest part of the door or whatever. When I was back there last summer, when it was about 38 degrees or something the train was totally packed and I was pressed up against this cute japanese girl, mmmmm :switch:
