Cage & Smith Battle Over Time Share

Nicolas Cage and Will Smith will co-star in and produce a Columbia Pictures feature based on the Mark Steilen pitch Time Share, reports Variety.

The comedy concerns two fathers who lock horns when they discover their families are booked into the same time-share residence during what should have been their dream vacation.

Cage and Norm Golightly's Saturn Films are producing with Smith and James Lassiter's Overbrook Entertainment, along with John J. Strauss and Eric Tannenbaum.

Smith most recently starred in and produced Columbia's Hitch. Cage will next be seen in Paramount's The Weather Man and recently wrapped Ghost Rider for Columbia.

Steilen is rewriting And Spaulding Gets Nothing for Disney and is about to direct his script Basket Case, which Bobby and Peter Farrelly are producing.

This is an interesting pair up, if this film is definitely a go, it'll be interesting to learn more about it. We'll see... as long as Pursuit of Hapiness is next on the docket.

bleh... boring....  Sounds dumb-sorry guys

most hollywood scripts sound dumb..but will and nicolas cage are in the movie..they can make it work.. Hitch was basically re-written every day by Will and look how well that turned out

Well let's see it so to be about two guys who sign up their families on a vacation at the same time. They both signed on to do the movie. So a family vacation so maybe they would start shooting in the sumer, maybe?
