Members bagotrasho Posted April 5, 2005 Members Report Share Posted April 5, 2005 (edited) Hey this will be my last rhyme for a while I hope it satisfies you VERSE 1 Theres so many flaws in this thing we call the earth For some people their problems start right at birth I could sit here and list the problems forever for you But I ain’t got that kinda time so I’ll only address a few First 50 cents out there screwing up the musical world He says he has so many fans he probably thinks he Tupac Hey 50 I have someone friends who listened to you Now they listen to punk rock “I’ll take you to the candy shop I’ll let you lick the lollipop” Ok Curtis we get it you’re from the ghetto you can stop Thank god we got people like Will Smith that resist the temptation People like Will Smith that would pick their family OVER their reputation People like Will Smith who don’t get caught up in the rotation From winter to fall From summer to spring This place we call the world is a crazy thing CHORUS The world is a crazy place It’ll kick you when your down Rub dirt in your face So you better get on it’s good side Or you’re gonna have a long and hard ride So just sit back and close your eyes Because everything that’s in store is a surprise VERSE 2 Man whats wrong with the world? SUPERMAN COULDN’T WALK that’s like Martin Luther King not bein able to talk And now the leader of the church is dead And the pope aint ever gonna rise again The 2000s worst decade ever? Sayin nuttin can be worse Hey never say never I’m sure these people will do sumthin much more “clever” They’ll come up with somethin because the world can never be at peace How can you say you like the world when an uncle would molest his niece? When it seems like your life is controlled by the next press release How can you like the world when they consider Paris Hilton news? Stuff’s been wrong since Hitler prosecuted the Jews Yea that’s right you got a 13 year old talkin bout World War 2 Not mentioned no names but send him to jail you got all them clues So much evidence its just immense But how can you take the expense? Of sending a celebrity to jail? To me it seems like so far the world has failed CHORUS VERSE 3 Now I know it seems like all I’ve done the whole song Is sit there and knit pick and tell you whats wrong But don’t get the wrong idea theres a lot of positive things in the world too Just look what its done for you Even if you're life was bad you shouldn't be mad because at least you got to have a life you may even have some kids and a wife But the world still controls you Whether your in America, Iraq, or hell even Hong Kong Basically what the world represents Is that even if everything is terrible at least you still got sumthin to be happy for O yea the world must suck cuz you can’t get tickets to the snoop dogg tour Every person on the face of the Earth has been an asshole to another at one time Every person on the face of the Earth has had committed at least one crime It doesn’t matter the size Nothing will ever be perfect thats the moral of the the rhyme CHORUS Edited April 7, 2005 by bagotrasho Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The world doesn't really give U anything. especially these two. "Every person on the face of the Earth has been an asshole to another at one time Every person on the face of the Earth has had committed at least one crime It doesn’t matter the size Nothing will ever perfect is the moral of the rhyme" - I really liked this ending. "Theres so many flaws in this thing we call the earth For some people their problems start right after birth" - this is a real good opening, but I'd change it to 'for some people, their problems start right at birth'. That be a definate grabber. It actually could be said a couple different ways if U really think about it. Just wanted to point that out. Overall, it's a real good rhyme.
