DevilsJim89 Posted March 30, 2005 Report Share Posted March 30, 2005 Title: Take 'Em Back Date: March 30, 2005 yeah lets take em back do it like this haha old school take 'em back to hearin' hip-hop as a teen writing my ways, gettin through the screen my favorite rapper used to rap summertime i knew i wanted to spit a verse and rhyme i was down back in the day way back when before i decide to pick up a pad and pen wanted to create a musical piece make somethin good at the very least white folks were all into punk rock but instead i enjoyed Eric B and Tupac lovin the days with dj's like jazzy jeff back then, the word on the streets was def rapping my heart out till there aint nothin left the sound of spinnin' and back scratchin takin my rhymes and tryin to do matchin keepin it real and original no snatchin just gimme a mic and its a beat im catchin (Chorus) take em back this is how its done haha old school a back back back in the day a back back back around the way when radios were down wit the OPP i was there sayin yeah you know me ll cool j mama said knock you out reppin' the old school what im about all i need is a boombox and im chillin along wit a notepad and lines im fillin on the tv, the show was yo mtv raps then came west coast g's bustin' caps dr dre and snoop doggy dogg gin and juice deathrow, pac and the outlawz on the loose from the garden state to the west rappin about who did it the best step your game up after you read how rap was grown from just a lil seed but this is your rap lesson the art of rap now thats a blessing (Chorus x3) golden age before gangstas paradise old skool adidas, starter gear and the ice can't forget about the four finga rings rollin' down the street smokin' g-things haha yeah the history straight from the books learned and i aint placin my mic back on the hooks tearin down the walls into mainstream hip-hop hooray makin' you scream now thats just a lil somethin from the past givin ya lesson thats full blast and there aint no way to mask it real hip-hop in the house y'all classic!
