I struggled very hard when i heard the song for the first time this morning. The first verse was kinda funny with the full house reference. I thought it was a nice word play. Then it got simpler and cornier with each new line. I cringed very hard on the vanilla chocolate part. 

I saw the video a few moments ago and in conjunction with the visuals it was more entertaining. But from an MC/lyricist point of view, its pure garbage and embarassing. He's literally proofing the world he cant write rhymes without any help. Or that he's just lazy with the pen, i dont know.

I havent bought tickets to his concert yet, and i think its better invested in other events. For me it ended with Lost&Found and i really cant support whatever he's trying to do with his music or his career in general at all. I have also listened to LL's "The Force" album this morning and theres really no comparison. LL is on another level regarding lyricism, energy and production quality. Songs like this will probably generate some clicks and likes commercially, but he's putting his reputation as an MC (if he still got one) on the line with trash like that.

PS: I agree with ANALF00034. I dont think he's pathetic, but i have also lost a lot of respect for Will. First he buried The Fresh Prince, then Big Willie and now he's on a egocentric, self absorbed path giving zero f's about anything. The result is **** music like this that probably only like his crew, family and friends.

Well what do I know, maybe I’m just out of touch but I just don’t think it’s that serious. If you didn’t enjoy Rave in the Wasteland then that’s another story and I can understand wanting to step away and not listen anymore but I personally loved it and this new summer song doesn’t have any bearing on it for me. I’m happy he’s still willing to release goofy songs like back in the JJFP days. 
 

If I were you and you have the means I would still check out the tour though, I would do anything to be able to attend but sadly he isn’t coming anywhere near my area. 
 

btw he’s performing with Jazzy Jeff on Sunday so I’m sure that show will be incredible.

You do come off hard with the negativity man. It’s always great to see new members join this board but when your first posts are like this it sends out the wrong vibe, you know?

I respect your opinion, this song is not for everyone. I think it’s okay. He has done worse songs in my humble opinion. “I Can’t Stop”, “Willow Is A Player” and “First Love” come to mind. I guess he’s just having fun and doing his own thing. It just sucks for us, real hip hop heads, that he isn’t making the songs we would like him to do. I enjoyed his last album when it dropped but I don’t listen to a lot. We need Jeff to be more involved with the music and the tour. He makes the best songs when Jeff is involved!

What negatitivity? I see no argument refuting what I said because everybody knows it's true, all I see is "you're being a jerk (when I'm clearly not)" or "you are putting out the wrong vibe".... I'm not worry about pleasing anybody with my opinion, I'm just stating FACTS and what I've been feeling as a long time Will Smith fan, this crappy song was just the tip of the iceberg. I'm not a new member by the way, it's just a new username because I couldn't access my old one.

You’re not really stating facts, you’re stating your opinion which is fine. I’m not gonna get into an argument about our different opinions, everyone is entitled to their own.

I think he was just being polite. JJ isn't in the credits and he hasn't specifically mentioned it on instagram outside of commenting fire emojis as he does on almost all of Will's new music.
