hotzappa11 Posted January 8, 2005 Report Share Posted January 8, 2005 (edited) albums on the discription of being labled classics or high caliber hip-hop and many others things, but i want your views. anyway i bought: EPMD - Strictly Business Ultramagnetic MC's - Criticial Beatdown Eric B & Rakim - Paid in Full KRS One - Return Of The Boom Bap i bought a few others aswell, but i woundered what you thought of those cd's. I didnt think i'd find any of them over here, especially EPMD, Ultramagnetic and i only found Eric B & Rakim because it was put in the small section of Rakim's solo cd's. JumpinJack AJ Posted January 8, 2005 Report Share Posted January 8, 2005 EPMD's "Strictly Business" is great!! Eric B. + Rakim's "Paid In Full" is one of the most important albums ever recorded. I have a double disc version of it put out in the late 90's that features remixes that were only available on vinyl at the time of the album's run. I don't have KRS-One's "Return of The Boom Bap" but my cousin has it and back in the day, we listened 2 it alot. I've been meaning 2 catch up on my KRS-One collection 4ever. The only album i'm not familiar with is Ultramagnetic MC's "Critical Beatdown." They recently released a special edition of this album and i've been meaning 2 get it cuz i know it's a classic.
