Or the fact that a FPOBA cast member is in the intro. Plus, I added a chorus that goes... bigted Posted September 27, 2004 Report Share Posted September 27, 2004 Slick Rick was one Nas' favorite rappers when he was growing up, there wouldn't be an "Illmatic" if there wasn't "The Great Adventures Of Slick Rick", you gotta put Slick Rick up there as one of the all time greats, 'cause he paved the way for storytelling in hip-hop, even 2Pac was inspired from it I'm sure. I think he's also the most known mc in the game that came from Britain(I'm sure y'all UK cats probably consider him an icon). I remember seeing the video of Teenage Love too. Actually I think it was Romeo. but yeah. I like his style.
