After Fresh Prince and LL Cool J, Heavy D is my next favorite emcee. While i waz checking old videos by him on YouTube, it was reminding me just how large Hev D was and is. bigted Posted November 9, 2010 Report Share Posted November 9, 2010 (edited) Heavy D is very similar to Fresh Prince, Hammer, LL, KRS, Kool Moe Dee, etc., in a sense that he's a legend that don't get mentioned as much as he should be but his resume speaks for itself, he's also been around since '87, his '09 reggae album is fire, clearly he's one of the more versatile mcs, he needs to come back with another hip hop album soon.... I was pleasently surprised just now when I saw this thread when I looked at the last clicks, some guest was looking at it so I decided to bump it... It's a good song but "Never Did It Before" was a much better song (produced by Tim + Bob).
