yup, like I said, they're probably ppl who live in the basement of their moms house. People with lives wouldn't care to spend 3 hours of their day doin "nerd" activity

metal fans are doin it b/c they're mad that Wicked Wisdom was added to the Ozzfest lineup. U should see the WickedWisdom site. It's much worse over there.

Apparently, some "metal heads" are really pissed about Wicked Wisdom being put on some Ozzfest dates (why are they on that tour anyways?) They're music obviously doesn't suit the audience of metal fans, but the messageboard is chaos right now. It's so dumb. They're probably angry little nerds who live in their moms basement. They keep boasting that they've been posting for 2 hours straight.

^^^sure... i agree, but remember all rappers nowadays have an image to disply. "gangsta" rap is not gangsta rap anymore once u get out of the hood and make loads of money. That wouldn't be keepin it real either. But also remeber, that rappers don't always speak in their point of view. They also talk about what they see around them and other people's experiences. A lot of rappers and musicians talk about experiences they've seen happen or what they've been told happened.
So when 50 mentions that he does or has done something in his music... he's really talking about what he's heard someone else is doing or did, or what he saw someone else do. So he has to give the impression that he's doing these things to maintain that positive glowing image that he projects. Mimi... honestly, you're digging a deeper hole for him. Why not just concede that he isn't being real in his music... that he's projecting something that he isn't... because that's basically the truth isn't it, regardless of how we twist it and try to explain it away?
well, everyone hear twists stories and quotes to their liking. BIG DEAL. I'm stating what I heard, and oif u don't like it, u could keep ignoring it. But if u keep ignoring it, U too are twisting the story to your liking.

Well all I was saying was those who set good example in society should get more credit for what they do, why can't we hear a KRS-ONE song on the radio instead of 50 Cent 'cause KRS' a man that stands by what he says on his songs, 50's a fake, even if he is a drug addict, he shouldn't brag about it so much, kids believe what they hear on the radio, he's not a good example for the youth, at least 2Pac released songs like "Keep Ya Head Up" and that situation was a gold-digger comin' after him but when that happened his sales soared, people should've listened to Pac when he was doing "Keep Ya Head Up", I'm a fan of Pac myself, I wasn't tryin' to diss him when I said that, I was just questioning why doesn't society focus on the good things that he did, they'd do nothin' but criticize him, then everyone got curious to buy his albums, he had a good heart and I didn't like how the media dogged him when some women do deserve to be called hoes by the way they act but some women deserve respect, some rappers don't respect women at all, but when LL and Will show love to women they get called soft, btw I read a lot of interviews from 50's and I never saw anything about him saying he's drug-free.
^^^u make some good points I agree with, but I can't see why u just don't take the fact 50 does not do drugs or drink. Get over it. He's not the monster of drug addicts that YOU want him to be. Read the TIME magazine interview if u can find it. He says clearly he doesn't do drugs. The intervieer asked him that cuz he didn't notice any alcoholic drinks around 50. He had water and vitamin water. 50 said he doesn't do drugs on the "keep it real" part on the interview he had on Big Boy's neighborhood. Maybe U have not read any interviews where he says it, but then again, since many people assume he does drugs, they don't ask him that question. When it is brought up though, he says he doesn't do it. So take that as it is for god's sake! I'll try and post the Big Boy interview for you. Even if I do u won't believe me though...

well i sure hope Will ain't lettin his kids listen 2 that cuz it's way inappropriate. it's probably just fashion. but yeah, a lot of kids in my area, not all white, where G-Unit and Rocawear but i wouldn't wear that if i'm not down with the music, nah mean?

Well all I gotta say is cats like LL, KRS-ONE, Chuck D, and Will Smith should get more respect for not "allegedy" getting accused of any domestic charges, they're the only ones keepin' it real!
just b/c of alleged actions does not determine whether someone is "real" or not. So Martin Luther King Jr was an "alleged" adulterer-he's not "real"?? (not to compare him to any of these rappers of course) PPl get accused of stuff all the time. Who knows, any one you admire, could get accused by some woman, to have done harm to her someday. God fobid that happen to LL, Chuck D, or Will, of course, they're all smart enough to stay outta trouble, but ppl are unpredictable. Esp. the ones who are after money and fame. I as a girl can say, I've seen many golddiggers. They don't care whether it's the bad guy or the nice guy. They're out to get them.

remember the word allegedly-doesn't mean he did it. Jay-Z "allegedly" shoved a female. Pac "allegedly" raped a female. Biggie "allegedly" beat Lil' Kim... I could go on and on with all the alleged actions of rappers. I'm not defending whatever possible actions 50 did, I'm defending him for the fact that he's never done drugs, or doesn't drink alcohol much.

Well actually you never really saw Will take a puff out of the cigar in Independence Day. You have one shot where Will is holding the cigar in his mouth and it ain't even lit. :
Will did puff the cigar. He had the cigar for more than just one shot where it wasn't lit. THe part where he's in the alien spacecraft near the end with Jeff Goldblum, and walking with him at the very end, he has the cigar and it's lit. In the spacecraft he had it in his mouth for a while.
Listen guys, i'm not saying Will's a heavy smoker, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did occasionally smoke a cigar or two.

It's messed up that rappers who disrespect women in their songs and call them hoes get the most street cred and rappers like Will and LL that try to show love to women get called soft. :mad8: And even 2Pac didn't sell that much albums until he went to jail, then his record sales went through the roof, society doesn't make sense! :confused3:
actually, I'm the biggest 2Pac fan and his lyrics have been called degrading to women. Pac actually got the most flak from a lot of women's groups for his songs. However, I know the complex Pac had with women. He said himself, he can respect the real women, but some women out there are willing to degrade themselves. And as a girl, I know very well, the girls who stoop low and act like idiots, just as men act like idiots. It's not to say they're deserving of being called "bitches" or "hos", however u guys also gotta understand, that from a grils perspective, in real life, there really are "women" and then there are the "hoes"

there was an article about a year ago, and this one cigar distributor (i forget the company name) was gettin real popular among celebrities. The article said Will and Samuel L. Jackson were among the customers, and Will's been seen smokin the cigars occasionally. I wish I had the link so I could show u guys the proof, but the article is pretty old. It was online btw

:kekeke: I think Jaden looks so cute in that get up. It's cool that Will and Jada let their children listen to all kinds of hiphop. I remember seeing Trey, Jaden and Kyle at the VMA's in 03 they were watching 50 perform. Will, Trey, and Klye seem to be just vibin' along. Jaden was sitting on Will's lap he looked a little tried but that happens wit lil kids. But he seem to be enjoying it. Will said that he talk to 50 maybe 50 sent him his new line of clothes to Will and Jada. I got know problem wit what Jaden is wearing. People just relax calm down take a deep breath. :kekeke:

lol at all of u goin crazy over a kid's shirt!! The fact u think Will is "neglecting" Jaden by allowing him to wear G-Unit clothes are laughable. Ya'll are not parents, and more specifically not Jada or Will, so stop acting like 50 year old conservative parents. jaden can wear what he wants. He was with Will at the MTV movie awards when 50 performed and i think Will's cool with letting his kids listen to rap. Plus, 50 could have sent Will some G-Unit clothing gear for his kids. Star designers do send clothes to other celebs u know... Do u think Will and Jada go to Macy's and buy it? I doubt it. Most of the clothes are probably sent free by the designers (Sean John, 50, Phat Farm, etc.) But since they let Jaden wear it, so be it. It's nothing that concerns u. Jaden looks cute btw...

Why didn't Dr. Dre dump him from Aftermath then? I thought that you have to get high to do a song with Dr. Dre, that was the reason why Rakim's album never came out in the 1st place, so obviously 50 Cent is just frontin', of course he gets high, stop defending him so much! :poke:
^^^Well, u can't just say 50 does drugs because u want him to be the "bad guy". When he says he doesn't do it, it sounds sincere. U have to realize that drinkin champagne is part of the rap lifestyle nowadays. He's using it for image not in real life. So it's in his videos...it doens't have to represent reality. Will smokes like crazy in Independence Day. Is that real life? No. It's an image. He had a photoshoot where he's smokin a cigar? Is that real? No (although Will does smoke cigars ocassionally)

^^^ it wasn't "lyrical content" from songs- he said it in many interviews including one for TIME magazine, and a interview he did out here on radio for Power 106. He doesn't drink-maybe a little champagne, otherwise he gets dizzy, and doen't smoke. Maybe he does it for show on video, but not in real life. Now what man would admit to gettin dizzy off one little sip? If he was the drinker u think he is, he would have said it, knwoing that mouth of his.

well compared to some of the other urban albums that debuted last week, Will's holding pretty steady. Bobby Valentino and Amerie dropped big time. Plus, the other albums that debuted with Will, including 112, Beanie Sigel, and even Beck are struggling just a bit.
