  1. Mimi, I think u really don't know who krs one is, right? Old school jackass... comon, first he's straight from da new school n second he is a wise man, who is thinkin be4 he is talkin! I doubt that he was saying like "cheering" n if he really used dis word he was not talkin about da people who had 2 jumb out of da buildin n so on. If he was really happy about da day, then cuz a part of da world make sign dat should show many americans that they are wrong. They are not da center of a american thinkin world n they are not allowed 2 do everything they want. Some muslime people, who are also not allowed 2 reign about anybody n 2 kill people, show dat they feel unhappy about american politics. If u feel punished, u most do something against... killing people is not da right way... never!! But what should they do? writtin a letter 2 mr bush? However, terror in dis large category is wrong, but I think 2 bomb cities 2 get money n 2 use land mines 2 control a country is much more is badder! Think about it!

    Peace n 1luv

okay 1st of all if u wanna make an intelligent point stop using "da, dat, dis..." I don't know one thing you're sayin. And yes, KRS-One DID SAY HE CHEERED when it happened. He said it one the radio. My sister lives in New York and she heard him say it. I know who KRS-One is. A big nosed bastard who isn't as intelligent as u believe.

  2. it DOES NOT sound like the KRS one story.  For one, KRS One said he didn't really care about the victims.  Will did not imply any of that.  He is saying what most white ppl don't get and that is racism.  There's racism even if you're successful.  If you're black, you're gonna get it anyways.  Will has said that he gets pulled over by cops around 45 times a year just b/c of his race.  White people would say to that, "cops wouldn't jest pull over ppl, Will must have been breaking a law", which is not the case.  Will probably did say these quotes in the interview, however, I think certain parts were cut out.  Similar to what happened to Johnny depp last year

Actually, it sounds a LOT like the KRS-One story.

    God Blessa!

no, it does not sound like the KRS-One story. Re-read it. If u think, the media made KRS-One look like some unsympathetic monster, you're wrong. KRS-One WAS disrespectful to the victims of 9/11. He said "he cheered when it happened". He is a definition of a jackass and I don't care if u worship his old-school ass. What Will said was 9/11 did not change how he lives and how he views America personally. He did not say he cheered or didn't care about the victims of the attacks. Remember when he did the telethon to raise money after 9/11?? Must of slipped out your mind. I get the feeling Will does care about the victims unlike KRS-One. I do think this article of Will's interview is real. The reason why this is not like the KRS-One story is their comments are completely different. However, b/c of the different nature of their comments, KRS-One deserves to be lambasted by the media and the ppl. Will does not, b/c he never said anything saying he cares nothing of the victims.

  4. Maybe it's an overseas thing. I've been watching Usher do his thing since i waz 13 years old (that's over 10 years ago) and i've only seen him lipsync a few times. When u do shows like Soul Train, all of the artists lipsync...it's the way they run the show. I've only seen MC Hammer perform totally live on Soul Train back in 1995. I've seen the live shows he's released and most of the award shows he's done an it's only been live. A few years ago he danced 2 "I Need A Girl" with Puffy. His backing vocals were on the track but he didn't even pretend 2 lipsync, he just danced.

I've seen Ludacris perform live. It waz just boring 2 me. A rapper on stage with 2 or 3 people just adlibbing half of his lines while he walked around on the stage for about half an hour.

^^^then do u want ludacris to dance or somethin? Rap is about the words, the beats, not about doin flashy stuff on stage with pyro. Imagine what Mos Def, Talib Kweli would do if they were on stage. Same with Luda. They walk around and rap. Rap should be that simple. That's enuff 2 entertain most ppl

  5. I don't like Ludacris cuz alot of his music is just sleazy sex stories with no imagination. I think some of his cameo appearances are cool, but that's cuz he only needs 2 stay on topic 4 like 8 bars. He dose have some clever lyrics but his overall subject matter turns me off. His voice and flow sometimes are overdone and i can only stand so much commerical dirty south type stuff. I kinda liked him when he 1st came out, but all those "Roll Out, Move Out The Way, Stand Up" type songs kill me, i think they are awful.

I thing Usher is a true talent. His live shows are great. He's got 2 concert videos out with the 3rd one on the way. He dosen't lipsync at all. He's one of the hardest working men in show business. If any one comes close 2 touching the crown of the King of Pop, Usher is the man. I'm scared 2 see the colabo album between him and Luda bring out a very stale formula and overdone dirty south vibe.

^^^um Usher did lip sync before. Plus, if u think Luda is all about sex, go listen to all his albums in full. Also, Usher isn't the goody-goody guy u seem 2 think he is. He's more into sex than Luda. Haven't u heard of Usher's sex tape? or his comments to Xzibit at the EMA's??

  6. why do some of u hate Ludacris so much?? Out of all the mainstream artists, he is of the better ones out thre. Plus he gets positive comments from ppl like Nas, Will, Doug E. Fresh, etc. The old school plus some of the new rappers all have nothin but good stuff 2 say about Luda. Usher is the diva. He's the one without much talent for lip-synching and sucking live on stage when he sings.

  7. This will probably never happen or at least not anytime in the near future, but I always thought that Will and Eminem would make an interesting collaboration. I don't know why, I just think they could. I'm not sure if they still dislike each other or not after what Em said about him. I mean it was almost five years ago anyway. I'd imagine they would have probably made peace by now. I just think they could make an interesting pair. *Shrugs* LOL Just a thought. Anybody else thinking this?

i think Will and Em have buried the hatchet. There was a story that Eminem actually went to one of Will's new years or Chritmas parties up in Aspen last year. People said Eminem was spotted up there and it was likely that it was for Will and Jada's party. Plus G-Unit had an homage to Bad Boys at the beginning of one of their music videos. As well as D12 on the Sharktale soundtrack. If they really didn't like Will, none of them would have done anything associated with him. I'm sure the Shady/aftermath ppl have no problems with Will, but I still don't like them.

  8. Smith wore boxing glove before hitting friend

When Hollywood tough guy Will Smith hit a friend during an argument, he put on a boxing glove so he wouldn't hurt him too much.

Smith, in peak physical condition after training to portray boxer Mohammed Ali in biopic Ali, knew the falling out with his pal would end up in a fight so decided to wear the glove to minimise any damage he might cause.

Smith says: "About a year-and-a-half ago I had an argument with a friend of mine and I told him, 'Just leave me alone, stop talking.'

"I was done talking, and he kept coming and coming. So I went in the garage and put a boxing glove on because I was mad at him and didn't wanna punch him with my bare hand. So I punched him with my glove on.

"If I hit someone with the right hand, they're going down. You gotta drop them good to settle them down. He was a bit annoyed but we gave him some ice and I said, 'I told you to stop talking!'"

funny story. Got it off yahoo

  9. it's pretty weird, i havent heard switch on the radio lately. :what:

krizia was sayin will was supposed to be on Power 106, but i havent heard about it. if someone heard it here, they would've said something already. we've been expectin switch to be out since the end of september. :dunno:

if i doesnt come out soon, im gonna go crazy :bang:

    :lolsign:

^^^r u talkin about when Will was on Big Boy's neighborhood on Power 106 recently? I live out here in Cali and I heard it.

  10. 2Pac and Jada did go out.

Anyway, let's all try really hard and wish Petey and Ludacris off the new album.

    God Blessa!

^^^i don't think it's fair to just write them off. Give them a chance. See what they bring to the album and to Will's songs. And Pac and Jada did not go out. Came right out of her mouth. There was never a time when they were seeing each other. The only celeb I know Jada hooked up with and had a serious relationship with was Grant Hill (NBA player). Trust me I am the biggest Pac fan and know everything and read everything about him and his interviews, etc.

  11. This isn't news or anything but u guys do know that Petey Pablo has been hanging out with Suge Knight a lot recently right? Petey was with Suge at the VIBE awards and arrived with him as part of his entourage, and Petey did a House of Blues performance out here in Cali with Suge Knight by the stage. I didn't know where to put this, but it relates to Will somewhat cuz I thought it was kinda weird that Will's new CD is gonna feature a Death Row records artist then.

  12. not "like"..."liked" i dont mean to come off as a guy who hates will, but he doesnt have a lot of fans right now..this new album could change that, definetley..but right now, he doesnt have a lotta fans (at least in the US)..i hope that changes, but im realistic..what matters is that hes still makin the music for his fans, no matter how many there are..as long as he does that, and makes good music, he will always have his dedicated fan base

he does have more fans of his films than his music. You're right about him not having too many fans of his music.

  13. It mentioned all the people appearing in the beginning of the show...u shouldn't have expected seeing him there after they didn't announce his name.

no. the word was "surprise" guest. They wouldn't say so and so is there if it's supposed to be a surprise. Do u know what "surprise" means? I bet u were sittin, waitin and watchin just like the rest of us

  14. i don't really think it's a fair assessment. It's more of a judgement by that particular critic. He said "people-esp. critics" are sick of him. I think he may speak for the critics, but if the people are sick of him, why did I, Robot make $145 mil at the box office. Why is Shark Tale his 2nd hit of the year. I know a lot of ppl love him, more as an actor than a rapper, sure but a lot of ppl like him. He's known as a nice guy and all around likeable. People, and some sritics mention that all the time. Even after wild, wild west, he didn't go from the A-list to the c-list in Hollywood. That says a lot considering most people, like ben Affleck are doing poorly after a flop.

  15. sorry guys... i told u not 2 get your hopes up too high. Looks like their "special celebrity guest" was Jamie Foxx. He performed his part of Slow Jamz with Twista and Kanye. What's so special about that?? They all made it out to be a big deal... like, a BIG celebrity guest. U understand why I thought it might be Will Smith right?

  16. This Sunday, (Nov 13?) they said that the AMA's will have a A-list shocker which could include a performance. If it isn't an appearance by Michael Jackson for the millionth time, I thought maybe it could be Will performing. He's an A-lister, his single is coming out soon, it's supposed to be a surprise, so who knows? don't get your hopes up too high though. It's just a guess on my part.
