  1. Hmm... for an person who dont love Will like we do, which is the most famous single? Do you think Switch can reach it in " popularity"?
  2. the rhymes in switch are so damn smart... but the verses were pretty short wasnt they?
  3. El gato es muy grande pero bajo y hambre translation: The cat is very big but short and hungry.
  4. I really really hope theres lots of yummy stuff, like interviews with the people... and lots of jazz!
  5. Somethin Like Dis.... aaaah i love that track, actually it reminds a little bit about Switch, doesnt it? Just a little? Veery little?
  6. hell yeah im living in the past, i got real probs appreaciating (i dont now how it is spelled) new stuff... its kind of sad, isnt it... its just that... when will was younger he always seemed to be smiling, glad, young streetwise guy making glad, feel good-music, now he still seems to be a funny guy.. but the music, its not than glad any longer... it doesnt give me that feel good-feeling that i got watching n listening to summertime or im looking for the one or somethin like that... In the I, Robot promotion events that i've seen on the site, Will seems to like doing the old stuff better... there must be a reason why...
  7. Oh... why? Well... Top 5 1. Summertime 2. Im Looking For The One 3. As We Go 4. Girls Aint Nothin But Trouble 5. The Rain or perhaps Potnas... Worst 5 1. Just Cruisin (worst) 2. I Think I Can Bit Mike Tyson 3. I Loved You 4. Give Me Tonite (first 30 seconds and so are decent tho) 5. Maybe
  8. heh yeah it would be a very interesting forum if everyone had the same opinions about everything...
  9. Yeah the intro is important. In my opinion they have always choosen the right intro except for He's the DJ-album.
  10. It seems like you think people hate Will Smith just because they dont like some of his recent songs. Why cant you just accept that everybody doesnt like exactly the stuff you like?
  11. I want a BNF or Summertime, and maybe you're right, maybe I will never be pleased with what Will does. And no, I dont think this one will get as big as Boom shake the room. Hmm.. where can I find a thread about Nod Ya Head when it was new... would be interesting to see what you thought back then...
  12. Dunno if this is the right forum but anyway... I noticed on tvtome.com that there is another actor (probably a sucky one) called Will Smith. The guy made a guest appearence in a episode called "Gettin diggy wit it"... I must say thats just extremely scary. http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/Guide...5915/epid-89894
  13. That is NOT true in my opinion... sure the song is good but... never been better?
  14. Will isnt doing anything different. All hiphop music videos looks the same these days. They stand in a dark place in some ugly building and raps. Summertime is different, Switch isnt.
  15. Yeah I agree with bigted. Will Smith 2005 in all honour, but back then, it was even more fantastic.
  16. i looked at it ten or eleven times now and... maaan! will looks extremely young, he looked much older in... say summertime or... yeah whatever.. he looks reeeeeeally young.
  17. but IF you rate it against Summertime... what would you give it?
  18. Something tells me that if we do this poll again about this song next year, it wont be so high grades. still high, but not so high. New stuff always got high grades...
  19. Summertime is 10. This was not as good as Summertime, so I give it a 8.
  20. The second part of the video is better than the first one :) man im so glad, but i would pay lots of money for a little happiness from Will.
  21. CBS.com: What spurred the jump between the theater and your role on The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air? JOSEPH MARCELL: I came over with The Royal Shakespeare Company in 1987 to do Measure For Measure and two other plays by Samuel Beckett. Somebody in the audience happened to be at UCLA where we were playing. Then The Fresh Prince happened to happen in 1990 and they wanted an English butler. And somebody said, "I remember seeing this guy with the Royal Shakespeare Company but I don't know who he is. That's how it was. When that happened, I was doing the European production of another play by August Wilson called, Joe Turner's Come And Gone In London. It's the kind of archetypal theater story. There I was working in an elevator and this man said, "I'm going to make you a star!" [Laughs] I never dreamed that's how it would happen and I had been to America many times with the Royal Shakespeare Company. I had even been on Broadway with them. So, I came over and auditioned and I sent tapes and then I came back and met the people. They said, "Yes, you're the man we want." CBS.com: That's a great story. You had a great run with that show, too. JOSEPH MARCELL: I had a great time. It's like finding a nickel or a dime or something. It's the unexpected. If you found twenty bucks that's alright, but if you find a nickel, a dime or a quarter, there's something really special about it. You just enjoy the whole thing and think, "I'll keep it. Maybe I can put it in a meter?" Then you put it in a meter and then you think, "Gosh, I just saved myself forty bucks." It's really special. source: www.cbs.com
