Not sure what’s going on with new people joining and leaving negative comments but I guess that’s the internet these days.
It definitely has mixed reviews, a lot of hate but lots of comments enjoying it too. Nearly half million views on YouTube in 3 days.
Ive honestly been playing the song none stop all weekend. I don’t want it to appear that I have bad taste in music here haha, but there’s something about it that’s so enjoyable to me. It’s a shame that I feel like I’m enjoying it by myself.
It’s like stoichennium said, he’s not gonna be doing this in 10 years. In fact I never thought I’d see him do this in 2025. Embrace it. He’s not gonna make another BWS at his age. But we’ve got a tour and 3 albums. Your hip hop stuff is coming. That anxiety rhyme will be on the album.

    Justice for pretty girls!
Music is a funny thing. Thought it was cheesy and silly when I first heard it. But there was something about it that made me keep wanting to play it over and over.
Sometimes a song just hits you right and seeing I live just cemented it for me. I love it! I hope everyone else gets to enjoy it, both the fans here and the public. Imagine if it did become a hit.

That performance was incredible! The crowd was a bit dead from the previous 2 artists. But you can tell Will and Jeff have been doing this a long time. Will got them going and cheering.

Jeff was on fire, great hearing all his scratches on Wills tracks. Even got involved in the performance coming out from his decs.
Pretty girls sounded good live. It fit in well with the rest of the set. I like the song even more now.

Cant believe they are 56 and 60 coming out with more energy than the younger artists before them.

The song is getting a better reaction than what I thought!
I've even had a friend who's not particularly a Will fan message me saying, "Will's new track is a banger!" I don't think that's happened since Switch!
It might not be what we were hoping for or expected but maybe this gets more people listening to Will's new music, which can only be a good thing!
All I know is, I got to see Will live this week in London, he signed my Willennium vinyl, I'm seeing him again in August and he's consistently releasing new music.
So I'm not going to take this for granted. In 10 years, Will will be in his mid 60s and none of this will be happening. I'm just going to enjoy that he's still making music while I can!

Ok I’m gonna lighten it up with a bit of positivity in here. It’s certainly far from my favourite of the new tracks but I don’t hate it like you guys.
ok so it’s a bit corny and it does leave Will open to be made fun of. But what’s new there, he’s been made fun of since 1988. The lyrics aren’t great, however, not every song needs to be deep.
I like the beat, it’s fun, silly and catchy. The video is a bit like his fresh Prince days. The song reminds me of”my humps” by the black eyed peas. People said it was cheesy but people loved it.
On another positive note. Will and Jeff are playing Wembley this Sunday with capital fm, it’s one of the biggest radio stations in the UK. They played the song this morning for millions of listeners. I would have preferred one of his better songs but telling so many people he has an album out might get some more fans aware of BOATS.

I was there! Right at the front. I only live a 25 minute walk from King's Cross Station, so I got there as soon as i heard about it.
Oh, and Will signed my Willennium vinyl. Still can't believe it!

I enjoyed this and Will was great but towards the end it got a bit annoying when everyone got a bit loud and started talking over each other. Not sure if it was the drink or all that monster.
Did you notice though Will barely drank. He had a few but when they did shots of would avoid or pretend to drink it.

I love this. I don’t know if everyone will agree with me but I think his team have done a great job promoting this album on social media. He used to go on shows like TRL to promote it but the world is so different now.

They know what people like, going viral with the anxiety video because they know everyone loves Fresh Prince, joining influencers on videos and doing stuff like this.

It’s just seems to be getting bigger and although he’s getting a lot of hate still. I can see a lot more positive comments and love, particularly on this barbershop video. It was a good move.

As if Will is coming out with the best stuff of his career at age 56. He’s got more charisma in this than every modern rapper put together.
As a fan, we know he’s awesome but this even has me shocked how good it is.

I’ve found a website for the official streaming chart in the UK but it’s not in the top 100. I’ve got a feeling it gets updated weekly because they announce it on radio 1. So maybe we’ll see on Friday.

Yeah Will doesn’t tend to get good reviews for either film or music so it doesn’t make much difference to me.
What’s most important is that the fans are enjoying it and on the most part we are. I’m sure it matters more to Will what we think.
i was going to make a joke about reviewers knowing nothing because it’ll be some 40 year old white person, but that’s actually describing me now haha.

I am so happy with this album, it’s exceeded my expectations, been playing it all day.

The barbershop intro is the perfect start, that stuff needed to be said and it’s great to see Jeff on there. I’m enjoying “you looking for me”, it’s a middle of the road track for me.
”Rave in the wasteland” was a huge shock for me, seeing the title, it looked a little odd but when that beat started it was crazy. Sounds so different from anything he’s done, his flow is insane. Possibly my fave of the new, unreleased ones.

Love “bulletproof” I think I heard it a while back when he did it live and I’ve been waiting to hear it properly. Definitely one of the better tracks of the album.
“Hard times” is great, I love RnB so the female vocalist sounds great to me. Only negative was Will wasn’t quite featured enough on it, but musically it’s beautiful.
Been playing “beautiful scars” lots the last few weeks, one of my top tracks of the album.
“Tantrum” has been out a while, I’ve seen most people love this one, I like it but it’s lower down on my list of tracks. Maybe I’ve overplayed it waiting on this album haha.
“First love” is my least favourite, the vocalist just isn’t my style and Wills flow just isn’t as good. I don’t dislike it so much but it’s just nowhere near as good as the rest of the album. Don’t know why they chose to release it.
Really like “make it look easy”, it’s grown on me a lot throughout the day. It’s almost like big Willie style vibes. Such a nice, chill, fun song.
I’ve always really liked “you can make it”. It came out when I was coming to the end of a tough couple of years, so it’s a special song to me.
I’ve always really enjoyed “work of art” too. Being the second song out made me realise we were gonna get some great music out of Will after 20 years.
Overall, love it. I think it’s perfect to come out with music like this after recent years. I’m ok with the swearing, he’s no longer got his squeaky clean image so he may as well haha. I’m hoping the next chapter/album has more fun, upbeat songs. But as the first one back, it’s just right.
