  1. I was also wondering if Mars was supposed to say that or not. At the same time, he has recently performed and visited Hip-Hop radio. Who knows what approach he's taking.
  2. FU-SCHNICKENS' - Breakdown Nervous Breakdown (1994)
  3. 50 Cent? Classic? Impossible. I don't care that the current cats on the radio are so bad that they make him look good. Unless he asserts himself and flips his style drastically, I could never see the word "classic" being associated with him. When the last time a Hip-Hop album TRULY EARNED the status "CLASSIC"?
  4. No, No. NOOOOO!!!!! This is a bad idea. Period. It was a bad idea in 1996 and it's a bad idea in 2011. He wants to see a script because he has said there's a "zero change" he would do a sequel (and for all the right reasons). He's merely humoring the idea but there is no reason for the movie to have a sequel. Keep in mind that FP hasn't pumped out a classic movie since Hitch and doing a sure-to-critically-suck unnecessary sequel is NOT the way to go. We are still hoping MIIIB was properly done at this point.
  5. I haven't heard that BIIM song yet. It's alright but it's leaving me wanting more. I can't wait for the new album! SKEE-LO - Superman I Wish (1995) I was in a music store and found the the vinyl single for this. I already got the CD back in the day...but at 50 cents, who can blame me? I just came across the video, it looks like he's a little sloppier these days...and I wasn't thrilled to hear him drop the F bomb after he's made an effort 2 steer clear of being explicit all these years.
  6. I like Nas...so no disrespect, but his ability to do an interview is AWFUL. If I hadn't heard his music and I just read this interview, I would have thought he was an idiot. Does he always come off this ignorant in interviews?
  7. 3X KRAZY w/ 2PAC, EKLIPZE, B-N-T - Gaffled (Remix) Immortalized (1999)
  8. On a separate and random note, I picked up a weird DMX album 2day. It came out this year and it's titled "Greatest Hits With a Twist." It has X rhyming his hits over what I would consider karaoke beats. It's just weird. I guess this was a way for him to score money without paying the people who helped make the hits as much money. I can't say I'll listen to this again but I wanted to find a link to share it with you. I came across this deluxe version including 3 other re-recorded song plus a 2nd disc filled with remixes. http://www.amazon.com/Greatest-Hits-Twist-Deluxe-Explicit/dp/B004OMX44O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1319431505&sr=8-1
  9. HEAVY D - Check It Out New Jersey Drive Soundtrack: Volume 1 (1995)
  10. BEASTIE BOYS + CYPRESS HILL - So What 'Cha Want (Remix) So What 'Cha Want (CD Single) (1992)
  11. I wish I could care about this news...but I just can't.
  12. HOUSE OF PAIN w/ GURU - Fed Up (Remix) Rise Again (1996) ^Dope^
  13. CHINO XL - Kreep Here To Save You All (1996) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YfU1eEWt7A It took me 15 years 2 get this album...but I finally got it...lol
  14. COLBIE CAILLAT - Stereo All of You (Import) (2011)
  15. I love this....and I'm believing he'll keep his word. He sounds ready and focus. With proper backing, DMX can be on top again and tear apart all these commercial clowns who currently have hits. I love the new direction he is taking and the honesty in this interview.
  16. OUTKAST - A Life In The Day of Benjamin Andre (Incomplete) The Love Below/Speakerboxxx (2003) Always thought this track was ill.
  17. The song is so beautiful. I'm happy to see it got such a great music video. The end is powerful and I'm really hoping this catches a buzz.
  18. MC BREED + DFC - Ain't No Future In Yo' Frontin' (self-titled) (1992) Classic! Rest In Peace, MC Breed.
  19. I didn't know the address of the house...but that's because I didn't really care...lol. I also never heard about the show getting canceled before. The last one isn't correct though. Jeff wasn't thrown out more than once. I know they used the same scene MOST of the time but not EVERY time. I remember an interview with Jeff saying that he would often wear that shirt so they could use the same footage because his messed up his knee (or something) from shooting it more than once. I don't ever remember them using that same footage when he was wearing something else though...LOL...I'm gonna have to look for that when I re-watch the entire series.
  20. QUEEN LATIFAH w/ HEAVY D, KRS-ONE, + TREACH - Rough Black Reign (1993) Such a great posse cut...NO WEAK LINKS
  21. That cat is amazing! Thanx! His beats are flawless...I especially like the 1st song AND the vocalist on the hook.
  22. Cookie! How are you gonna come up here outta nowhere and leave a random comment?!? WE MISS U!!!
  23. PETE ROCK + CL SMOOTH - Lots of Lovin' Mecca + The Soul Brother (1991) So dope...it just takes me back.
  24. I never heard this before....It's good! It left my wanting a Guru cameo. I can't remember the last time I heard an female emcee that actually made me want to check out more of her music. It was probably over 10 years ago.
