  1. Anyone who listens to critics and makes a judgement based on them is a moron.

They slammed Concussion, mainly based on the huge NFL following and not wanting the truth to be told. Will was impeccable and the movie was accurately brilliant in every sense it should have been. Will deserved every inch on that Golden Globe nod and should have been nominated for an Oscar.

They slammed Suicide Squad, mainly because there’s a Hollywood vendetta against DC, they seem to be up Marvels rear end so much if they sneeze it’s coming out of Iron Mans nose. But, along with Margot, Will was the shining light from the movie. That rarely gets mentioned.

They slammed Collateral Beauty, but again, Will was impeccable at becoming a father that’s lost his child and capturing the essence and emotion that father would be feeling. Every bit as good as he was in Pursuit of Happyness.

It seems like Hollywood are canning these movies, or pigeon holing them because they don’t fit the criteria of an award winner. Casey Affleck swept the awards, Manchester by the Sea wasn’t a great movie, yet Casey won awards based on HIS performance. But even then, I fail to see how Denzel or Andrew Garfield weren’t front runners and winner for their performances in Fences and Hacksaw Ridge respectively.

This is because critics aren’t FACTS, they are OPINIONS.

F critics, F award shows, watch the film and make your own judgement and definitely stop being happy his movies can or critiquing them just because you want a new album. You’ll never enjoy them if you go in with other people’s opinions and negative thought of your own of where his career should be.

well there have been eminem and nas albums for example that've been on there for years and not taken down then why do people take down will's albums? if it's so illegal then majority of what's on youtube should be taken down....

It's not a vendetta against Will, it's just their terms. Some slip through the system, millions of videos uploaded each day, a few are gonna go undetected or you'll find restrictions rather than deletion (banned in certain countries etc).

Besides, the majority of consumers who are responsible for the largest music sales weren't even born or old enough to comprehend music the last time Will released an album, as blunt as it is, outside of the confines of this forum and a splattering of a few other groups globally, no one would care if he made a new album.

all i gotta say is as one of the biggest JJFP potnas i just can't defend will anymore, he takes his career/life for granted

A guy who's done countless charity and support work, has raised a family and held onto a poster marriage through everything, ignores rumours and still tries to uplift, all while trying to juggle 2 careers that for the most part, probably make both suffer. Works tirelessly but still makes sure the value of money is recognised and hasn't gone 'diva' about his riches since his bankruptcy. I would say Will Smith, of all celebrities, is one of very very few who DOESN'T take his career and life for granted.

He makes one decision to put his music career on hold to be an actor and y'all wanna have his head on a stick and parade it around Philly for how he 'let you down'. Granted, he mentions music all the time, he did say of a tour and album, but jeez, how many of us have had plans to do something then something you value higher, is more important or you just change your mind? And as for criticising him for going on holiday, I think y'all consider him some kind of robot and forget he's a human.

No it's not justified, it's a spoiled-kid reaction. It's his right to consider music as life yet not releasing albums. Tons of persons consider music as their life and don't release anything. You can do that for you, listen to it, record for the pleasure of recording.

Amen! Y'all act like Wills your father who promised you a 5th birthday party but walked out your life before the cake was even baked. Jeez.

  5. It has very little to do with him as an actor and everything to do with him as a decision maker. He was stunning in Concussion and Collateral Beauty and he was the stand out performance (along with Margot) in Suicide Squad.

He's is just choosing very poorly promoted movies that don't have any global appeal to be blockbusters. Suicide Squad sold based on its DC connection of course.

Will is by far a better, more rounded, actor than he has ever been, and it's clear he's making movie to refine his skill over filling a movie theatre. Which can't be knocked as a negative, in my opinion.

  6. Who even knew about the app prior to this song let alone be bothered looking for a song on YouTube they don't know exists? lol

this is just Will having fun and putting it out in some way. Sounds to me like he was just messing around on set of SS and it ended up being used in a song, it's not a serous attempt at a music relaunch. It's not the song you want the masses to be hearing for a WS music comeback.

I rarely listen to reviews. If fans come out of the cinema and say it's bad, then I'm worried, until then, I still think this is Will's "comeback".

Also listening to what Will says about Trump is amazing. He must feel passionate about it because he rarely slags anyone off.

The box office numbers and Wills performance prove your 'comeback' theory. Public reviews (the people that really matter) are saying he and Margot carried the film. It's proof if Will gets in an eagerly anticipated movie and performs well, his fans will flock and begin to look forward to his future projects.

We get so hell bent on the fact he hasn't made music that we almost will his movies to fail. Beside the critics reviews, this is a roaring success at the box office and a personal gain in Wills career as an actor to know he can still be part of a summer block buster.

After Earth sucked, Focus wasn't amazing but it was watchable. Concussion was kept under wraps largely by the NFL popularity and ignorance of the issue it addresses, but Will was fantastic in it (minus accent).

I don't see where the decline of his career is. He's in what will probably be the biggest movie of the summer, Collateral Beauty will probably get Oscar attention and Bright is going straight to Netflix which is probably the largest growing audience movie watching option in the world right now. Couple that with the Bad Boys franchise continuing, which will get attention just coz it's Bad Boys, regardless of if Bay is involved. I'd say his movie career looks pretty healthy.

He's also part of the Suicide Squad franchise now too, so that will have him occupied and in good condition at the box office any time a new movie or spin off is released.

i know i'm being picky but how much for just a few of them? I'm willing to pay a little more to help you out but i just can't justify buying a Cd i already have :/...

Both Yo Homes to Bel Air, The Groove, The Things That You Do, and I Think I can Beat Mike Tyson....I've been trying to add those to the collection for a long time now...for just the CD singles how much would you be looking for those?

Sorry for the late reply man. $10?

  9. After years of contemplating this, I've finally decided to bite the bullet and sell my collection. As I know this is the place to find the top JJFP fans, I thought I'd give you all the first opportunity to grab it before I advertise publicly.

This is the collection. You'll get everything pictured. I'm looking for £100 which is around $150 I believe. Let me know if anyone is interested.

As you can see there is some rare stuff and I've paid well over what I'm asking for.

Oh and, hey, btw, it's been a while!
