  1. Yeah to take this one step further, I haven't posted this before, but every time I see a "get Will on TRL" post or "I hope this CD is a huge success" comment, I think to myself: ok... am I supposed to care that much? Don't get me wrong, as a fan, that's cool, I'd be happy for him or whatever if L&F is commercially popular, maybe that gives him more leverage & motivation to make more music, and I guess this gives us something to talk about on these boards before we actually hear the album lol. But I'd rather a great collection of music that completely flops than a slighty less great collection that the mainstream loves anyday. Quality is everything, hype is nothing. I'm sure most of you feel that way too, but just sayin. oh im the same in that all i really care about is if the albums dope..and really dont how much it sells etc in the overall picture..BUT! i really want will to tour..so switch and the album needs to be a success for that to happen.. and an album from will comes around once every 3 years or so, so we may as well use this time to help will on the charts however possible..but when it comes right down to it if lost & found sells 100, 000 and its wills best album ever and i cant stop listenin 2 it i'll still be happy :werd:
  2. i do like soul artists though and i would reccomend.. anita baker - my everything, al green - i cant stop, kindred the family soul - surrender to love, amel larrieux - bravebird, kenny lattimore - from the soul of man, michael franti & spearhead - everyone deserves music & goapele - closer
  3. i cant listen to RnB these days..i find the lyrics absolute trash.. if some1 releases an rnb album where they are not saying somethin completely generic that hasnt been said a million times before let me know!
  4. i just posted in that post..my god the stupidy of these people..who the hell are they to say will should quit music..he was releasing albums before they were even born! :nhawong: i think its good the hip hop community has got wills back with lost & found cause i wouldnt hold out much hope for these teeny boppers they wouldnt know good music if it slapped em in the face..there are however a lot of people sick of 50 cent and the same old rubbish..and cant wait for sumthin different and will is gonna provide that

  17. Other Hot 100 debuts this week are Ludacris' "Number One Spot" (No. 82), Jack Johnson's "Sitting, Waiting, Wishing" (No. 87), Will Smith's "Switch" (No. 88), Source: Billboard well thats already higher than Freakin it & Black Suits Comin.. now lets watch switch rise!!!
  18. even if interscope dropped Will its very easy for him to dign deals with record labels around the world..bootsy collins was one who released an album on warner germany..and it got released around the world and did very well and was finally released in the US about a year later..many artists actually release albums in japan first.. the thing is Will has been in the music business for 20 years and this is his 9th album..so nothings gonna stop him
  19. maybe you need to start a club.. bugged out with will annonymous
