Question

I need a little help. I have an mp3 player, and it only uses Windows Media Player. Well, today I bought an itunes gift card, and I bought a song off itunes music store. When the song downloaded, I tried to put it on my Windows Media Player, and it didn't work because it said "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." The track had a little lock sign on the file icon. Most of the time, itunes files work on Windows Media Player, but it looks like songs that you buy off itunes music store don't work on Windows Media Player. I have been trying everything to get it to work on my Windows Media Player. I have tried uninstalling itunes, but the file format changed to M4A File, instead of MP3 audio file (mp3). So do any of you have any suggestions at all on how I could change the file format to MP3 audio file (mp3) so I can play it on my Windows Media Player? Thanks

search 'free m4a to mp3 converter' on google, you'll find one...

Thanks for the advice. I downloaded the free trial version of ImTOO WMA MP3 Converter, and it converted 2 songs that I didn't download off itunes music store. It wouldn't work for that one file, so do you have any suggestions to what program I should download? Thanks
