Turntable Posted December 26, 2005 Report Share Posted December 26, 2005 Last night with christmas, in the evening, a dutch channel went into a commercial and they told that they are going to be airing 2 great movies tuesday night, with hiphop's 2 best icons, wild wild west at 8.30 and how high at 10.30. I was really shocked and surprised in a nice way that even a dutch channel sees will smith as a hip hop icon, it was really nice to see. Yes I thought about posting that too! I saw that comercials.. That's cool!, I don't see Will on peruvian TV since 1998 I remember "Miami", "Gettin' Jiggy..." and "Men in Black" were very popular that year. bigted Posted December 26, 2005 Report Share Posted December 26, 2005 I think a lot of his rap peers respect him, it's more of the media who've dissed him, I think if they come around, more rap fans'd be willing to open up to Will, the media works the public like sheep, whoever they say is a dope artist, people go along with that....
