Man, I love those small venus tear ups. JJFP on the same stage as KRS-One and other Hip-Hop greats- if anyone doubts Will Smith's street credibility they should watch this. He was huge, even back then.

i cant stand him either. Ive tried to listen his show but he plays explosions and glass smashing every 5 seconds i cant hear the music. He does seem to have a lot of love for JJFP. Will did some great freestyles in 2005.

I'll be blunt- I hate the man. I really do. He does nothing for UK Hip-Hop (granted, a majority of it is garbage, but that's because the media portrays the crap for what it is). What about the hungry, upcoming emcees? He does nothing for the streets. Westwood is a radio DJ for one of the prime radio stations in the UK, and all he does is worship the likes of Eminem, G-Unit, etc.
And the way the dude talks just plain annoys me.
KRS-One had a lot to say about the man a few years back, when Westwood invited the Hip-Hop activist on his show- but only after his record sales had gone through the roof:

End of the day, though, it's a business. Nintendo knows its target audience with the Wii, and exploits it.
Remember the N64? Whereas I absolutely adored that system, it didn't have the marketing to compete with the PS or Xbox.

The Wii is perfect for shooters tho, but they dont make them because the girl next door wont buy it. It sucks. I bought a Xbox, because it drove me crazy to only have one good game in 6 months. But I love the Wii, it just needs more consistancy.
Same. I wasn't content with just Mario Galaxy, Zelda, and Mario Kart.
And besides, Wii's online mode sucks (I know it's free, but still).
Street Fighter IV for the 360 is the game I count responsible for getting me back into the video game culture.

I like the article, it's very well written to the point where it's understandable to the average fan that thinks that Will's just this actor that does cheesy pop songs for his movies... That damn Columbia records ruined Will's image as an mc, I mean come on now it's like that skit on "Willenium" with Jaden tellin' Will to put "Wild Wild West" on his album when he had plenty of other great songs for the album(i.e.-"Holla Back"'s one of Will's best songs and it didn't make that album), I think there's a bunch of Keith B-Real's out there just like the skits on the "Big Willie Style" album who hate on Will with their ignorant reasoning(they act like Will forgot about Jazzy Jeff and Philly when he got real famous, they think he don't make real rap music 'cause he don't curse or rap about guns, etc...) and btw I like the reference you made to the "Lost and Found" song as well, it's something fans should take heed to and give Will the credit he deserves as one of the great mcs from the golden era of hip hop that paved the way for it being as big as it is today... Btw I also appreciate that article you written about overcoming writers block, as an aspiring mc who writes rhymes I could feel you on that...

I think the Wii needs to step its game up if it wants to attract serious gamers. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but there needs to be more in-depth games like Mario and Zelda. There's too many bubblegum games; in the sense, they're fun for a week or so.
Can't wait for Mario Galaxy 2 :)

Whereas I agree that this is dope, the whole concept of a 'freestyle' these days has been misinterpreted, I think.
I consider a 'freestyle' to be lyrics off the top of the dome. Not pre-written.

The first single is weak. I won't be buying the album. And what's with his voice on the second single? Seems so different.
Never been a huge Eminem fan from the start. He knows his prime target audience is 14 year old white kids, so keeps churning out these stupid, annoying pop songs (i.e. "We Made You"). If he made more songs like "Way I Am" I might actually have taken an interest.
