  1. Well wit RRC he sued saying he never got no royalities 4 sum of the songs they did. But Will paid about 500,000 I think if I remember Celebrity Justice rite. But RRC was not happy wit that and sued Will again 4 about 5mil...Will had offered RRC 2 appear on Willienium but RRC turn it down. But I had heard that RRC n Will get along fine they dont speak ill of each other. U can check out RRC side on

    www.readyrockc.com

Now I remember Will was sued by the Furious Five 4 I think the lines or sumthing its on Will's website. They sued 4 about 2mil I think. ANyways I think that was Sonys fault for not including them in the credits in the booklet and checking wit them 2 see if it was ok. But it was settled.

But when u think about it. Its not that bad 4 sum1 who has been in the rap game 4 like 20yrs and he only been hit with 2lawsuits reguarding music n money. ANd that theres no bad blood with anybody.

If he releases If You Can't Dance he could face another lawsuit.

  2. um there is more then 10% in America because there are more blacks in America then Whites

if that's the case then why aren't white americans the minority? :hmm: ..Afr. Americans are a 13% minority in this country, check the stats

If when you think of America you just think of the US you are right, but not if you America as North, Central and South America. There are more people of African decent in Brazil than any country outside of the African continent. Also, the majority of the countries in the Western Hemisphere are Spanish speaking. Latino and blacks are the dominant numbers in the Americas, but not in the US. Not yet at least.

  3. I give Rapper's Delight a lot of credit for bringing attention to rap, but I give Will and Jazzy more credit for bringing in the white audience. Rapper's Delight was hot but most white people still couldn't relate to the hip hop message. Will and Jazzy made them relate. They hit the middleclass. Also, it didn't become dominated by white consumers until the 90's. You can credit Dre for clearing the way for the massive percentage switch.

  4. I live in the Caribbean. There is a US syndicated radio program that we pick up called Hits and Oldies. No real dj's just clean cut R&B. It's like Muzak if anyone is familiar with that. Anyway I'd say I hear the song almost once every other day. I am only in my car to go to work or to the mall. I thought maybe there was a video. The same thing seemed to happen when I used to hear Da Butta on the radio. Not much of a movie person. What soundtrack is it on? Hitch?

  5. I like the song and I think it makes a better single than Party Starter because it has a comedic message. Non hard-core Will fans hear him and think humor only. I thought maybe they had given up on PS and moved on because the song was playing again this morning on that station. Could be just because the show was so recent. Someone does need to tell Will though that most people who buy rap won't know what he's referencing in this song and that the Spanish word he is using is pronounced Trann-key-low.

  6. Has Will ever taken that much tyme off work? LOL. I bet he wont even know what to do with himself asides STILL working in his studio or something.

    peace,

    cookie

This seems to be his new formula-Make a movie than dedicate 6 months to music. Hopefully he'll drop some more singles and record new material in those 6 months. No other movie projects for six months please!

  7. I wasn't dissin' New Edition, they're one of my favorite groups, I'm just sayin' that it'd be better if New Edition was the group performing on the same show with JJFP instead of Backstreet Boys but as long as it's only one show that JJFP's gonna be with Backstreet Boys it's all good but if they do a tour together?!!! :therain: :stickpoke:

Will and NE would be great! The fact that Will and The Backstreet Boys are in the same sentence is already making me cringe. Who are the people working for Will that come up with these ideas?! :dontgetit:

  8. A syndicated morning show was ocassionally mixing in old school rap music related to horror and fear because of the Holloween holiday and alll of a sudden they put on JJFP's Nightmare on My Street. Was completely unexpected but cool to know that old school JJFP was being heard across the nation for one moment.

  9. If talent sold "Code Red", "Willenium", "Lost and Found", and "He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper" would be at the 10 million mark in sales right now with "Big Willie Style" and Will'd be ranked the greatest rapper ever by the media like he should be, it's disgusting that "Code Red"'s his lowest selling album. :shakehead:

Really? Code Red has sold worst than Born to Reign? Man. that's crazy!
