  1. I will say this Tim, youve got me coming around here more now.....

Yeah, I feel the same. Tim, you have done a GREAT job running these boards. You are always thinkin of new and better ways to make our time here fun. This board has improved so much, its awesome. What will you think of next? hahah no doubt tim this place is dope.

  2. In drawing class, we were given an assignment to do a half drawing. We had to find a magazine picture we liked and cut it out. We would then draw half or a small section of the magazine clip and color it in with colored pencils. But the tricky part was mixing the colored pencils, to find the right colors that would match the part of the picture. I like my drawing a lot but I know it can be better. Let me know what you think bout it. hahah I know the ear is kinda messed up. I can't really change that though. Thanks for looking. Also I hit the 100th post mark. Its cool to finally be a mini Potna.

  3. It was Bow Wow who had to nerve to call Will a bubblegum rapper when he watered down this classic! :paperbag: I think it was for the soundtrack of his movie "Like Movie" where he was playing on an NBA team I think so maybe that's why he brags about scoring on the NBA stars 'cause he did in the movie but still it was wack, is it just me or does every platinum rapper coming out now does a movie? Back in a days you only had a few like Will, LL, and Ice Cube but now it's gotten out of hand and most of them need to try working on their day job first, lol.

I think the movie with Bow Wow on an NBA team is Like Mike, not Like Movie FYI. Yeah, I never knew Bow Wow was such a jerk to His Royal Freshness. Thanks for lettin me know the real truth bout Bow Wow Ted.

  4. Wow did anyone see Gilbert Arenas bank buzzer beater? Check it out on Sports Center. It was tight. Also Tmac had a great game, 35pts and 10 rebs. The worst part is, I thought he was still injured and I left him on the bench on the JJFP Fantasy team. :damnyou: :shakehead:

  5. Yo hero,

For some reason I can't access the chat room or any of the arcade games. When I click on them it starts to load, but never finishes for some reason. I think it has something to do with my laptop's java script. Any help/advice anyone can give me would be appreciated. Thanks

  6. well I havent hered all of the cds

same here. I haven't heard Homebase or Rock The House. But out of the ones I have heard, I have to say Hes The DJ I'm The Rapper is my favorite JJFP album. I love that album. Jazz has so many funky scratches and of coures FP rhymes are great. I like all the songs on the record. Code Red is my 2nd favorite though.

  7. So, who wants to trade me Darius MIles..lol.

 yeah he had a great game. He had 30+ pts, but the Wolves won!! KG had 18pts 7rebounds, and 7 assists. The blazers did come back towards the end though. But ya know what really surprised me? The Blazers have a new rule on their team, their players can't wear headbands. Thats kinda funny cause a lot of the players on their team wore head bands last year. Zach Randolph, Darius Miles ect. I wonder why they made that rule. What do you guys think?

  8. This is what i found:

official site - click on el bravador

Article on his official site: This was written by El Bravador himself. So apparently he is an ol skool hip hop dj like Jazzy Jeff :jazzy:

MY BROTHER CHIP, THE DJ-MC FRESH, ARTIE (THE PHONO BOOTH), GRANDMASTER FLASH & THE FURIOUS FIVE, AFRIKA BAMBAATAA & THE SOUL SONIC FORCE, WHODINI, PUBLIC ENEMY, KING SUN, RAKIM, THE JUNGLE BROTHERS, AUDIO TWO, THE ALLIANCE FROM BROOKLYN, NY, THE ROYAL SOUND CREW. DJ SKILL, PETE ROCK, DJ SCRATCH, STAN BROOKS, KIRBY CARMICHAEL, MITCH MALONE, TERRY (RANDY) LEWIS, ARRON MAXWELL, LARRY JONES, BEN MILES, JIM MINOR, KEVIN KOFAXX

BESIDES BEING A HIP-HOP DJ, CLASSIC SCI-FI TV, BUILDING THE MODEL SHIPS FROM THOSE SHOWS. (STAR TREK, LOST IN SPACE AND SPACE: 1999)

    RADIO & HIP-HOP INFLUENCES:

MY BROTHER CHIP, THE DJ-MC FRESH, ARTIE (THE PHONO BOOTH), GRANDMASTER FLASH & THE FURIOUS FIVE, AFRIKA BAMBAATAA & THE SOUL SONIC FORCE, WHODINI, PUBLIC ENEMY, KING SUN, RAKIM, THE JUNGLE BROTHERS, AUDIO TWO, THE ALLIANCE FROM BROOKLYN, NY, THE ROYAL SOUND CREW. DJ SKILL, PETE ROCK, DJ SCRATCH, STAN BROOKS, KIRBY CARMICHAEL, MITCH MALONE, TERRY (RANDY) LEWIS, ARRON MAXWELL, LARRY JONES, BEN MILES, JIM MINOR, KEVIN KOFAXX

IN 1979, ELBRAVADOR HEARD HIS FIRST RAP SONG ON THE RADIO. IT WAS KING TIM THE 3rd BY THE FAT BACK BAND. THEN HE HEARD RAPPERS DELIGHT FROM THE SUGAR HILL GANG. THEN CAME GRANDMASTER FLASH AND THE FURIOUS FIVE WITH FREEDOM AND SO ON AND SO FOURTH. DURING THIS TIME ELBRAVADOR`S BROTHER HAD ALREADY BEEN ON THE RADIO, BUT BELIEVE IT OR NOT HE HAD NO INTEREST IN BROAD CASTING AT THIS TIME. THEN TWO YEARS LATER, IN 1981 ELBRAVADOR DECIDED AFTER DJing A PARTY FOR SOME FRIENDS OF HIS TRACK TEAM, THEN IT HIT, "I WANT TO DO THIS" HE SAID TO HIM SELF. SO HE AND THREE OF HIS FRIENDS MADE UP A CREW CALLED," THE JR FUNK MACHINE. " THOSE FRIENDS WERE, BARRY SMITH, KEVIN BOMAN, AND BARRY RODGERS. AT THIS TIME HE DIDN’T HAVE THE NAME ELBRAVADOR, NO NOT YET. NOW ELBRAVADOR HAS EMBARKED ON THE World Wide Web. THIS WEB SITE IS FOR THOSE WHO LOVE OLD SCHOOL HIP-HOP, CLASSIC R&B, JAZZ AND MORE. AND WHO ALSO REMEMBER HOW IT WAS BACK IN THE DAYS OF HIP-HOP IN CENTRAL VA-USA. ALSO RARE VIDEO FOOTAGE FROM HIS TV SHOW.

  9. I figure that it'd be fitting to start a fresh topic with the season coming, post anything NBA related here! :pony:

Sweet, good idea. The other thread was gettin really long.

Who do you think/want to win the ROY? I think Chris Paul or McCants will take home the trophey.

  10. Very nice interview.

    I love this quote:

"i refuse to let anyone work harder than me" and "Nobody demands more of me me or pushes me harder than myself" - I feel Will on this line. It inspires me because I try to approach basketball with a similar attitude. :2thumbs:

    But this kinda surprised me:

"But I'm going to stay in shape for about four more years. Then I'm letting it all go. I'm going for the guy-with-the-gut roles. Soon as I'm 40, I'm going to stop watching what I eat." - :worried:
