  1. i depends really, if your going to become an actor, artist, musicion etc then imagination is far more important, but most jobs require knowledge more. My school focused on drama, sports and music a lot, but thats bcoz we were all stupid and couldnt do maths lol.

Saying that, i believe playing an instrument makes u use a seperate part of your brain. It sounds crazy, but when i play my guitar i have to read music, control my right and left hand at the same time and its hard and i also hadnt played it for about 2 years, i picked it up again and my fingers naturally played the song, i didnt really have a lot of control where they were going. Now i sound mad but you'd have to do it to understand it lol.

I know exactly what you mean, lol.

But I do believe that imagination is a lot more important than knowledge. Because 100 years ago humans "imagined" flying and the Wright brothers made that into a reality.

EDIT: Also, one of my favorite songs is called "Imagine"... and that song is very true and profound.

  2. It makes me laugh tho! They advertised the competition as finding raw talent across all genres and then only pick artist from a particular one!! Not sure how many of the top 10 actually made it through

that is kind of messed up, but whatever...

don't worry about it, man. Your just paying your dues right now.

  3. Wikipedia is awesome usually. Its a kick ass encylodpedia. Its good cos it lets anybody edit any article on there, but that also makes it bad thing that anybody can do that.

Its great for finding info on rare things, but people do abuse it.

yeah, but thankfully you can tell when people have messed with an article, case in point is the summertime article.

  4. I actually tend to skip Nightmare and play "here we go again" as the first track, lol. So I've agreed with this for a while now.

I skip Nightmare because I've heard it so much prior to getting He's the DJ, on greatest hits and all that. I'd rather listen to the other tracks.

  5. according to wikipedia, Will never applied to MIT and wasn't planning on going to college. Now, Is this 100% true? Because I remember I have (somewhere, Ive lost it a while ago) maximum Will Smith, and I remember them saying that he was accepted and turned it down, and up until this moment, I have heard the same everywhere else. So who is right?

  6. yeah theres no way they included JJFP numbers..

Remember - Gold is (500,000) Platinum (1 mill)

    Rock the House - Gold

Hes the DJ - 3x Platinum

And in this corner - Gold (900,000 so close)

    Homebase - 2x platinum

    Code Red - Gold

so pretty much add that 6.5 million more to that 12 and you got 18.6 million ..he should be just above Biggie.

the post that broke it down....

bws - 10 million, willennium - 3 million, born to reign 300, 00, lost and found 700, 000..so he should be 14 million for solo.. and with jjfp 21 million..worldwide over 30 million

    and that's word!!!! good stuff.

  7. i bet you if you check out your local record store, not a sam goody or anything like that, but a real record store in your hood they got it. i mean NY gotta have lots of big mom n pop record stores... u could probably find it there.

ha ha, yeah that's true, I gotta see because a lot of the stores that sell straight-up Vinyl sell mostly older stuff like The Beatles, and stuff like that. Hopefully I can find a place that does have some hip hop vinyl.
