  1. BLOCKBUSTER. PERIOD. This is the reason people go to see movies.
  2. star wars episodes 1-6 (that right, a real fan likes 'em all! LOL) as for favorite Will action movies: BB2, mib
  3. hmm, from what i'm reading it seems to be a question of language... I am fairly surprised that anyone would even be considering Hancock an R Rated movie...
  4. There has been sum talk recently in the forums if Hancock should be Rated R or not. While Will's character in Hancock naturally lends itself to a more mature rating, the film has been publicized as more of a fun PG-13 type movie. (Trailer/Poster) But, initial reviews and the storyline also lend themselves to a R rating. Should Hancock Be rated R?? Well, a Rated R movie will decrease a movie's box office. Especially a summer movie. And personally I know that if the movie is rated R, I won't be seeing it. And thats the same for my family and close friends. So an R rating is something that can have a great impact on how a movie is perceived as well as it total income. Movie studios know that Will Smith is a major box office draw. While I'm not saying that the movie won't make a huge amount of money, the studios know that they can get EVEN MORE with a PG-13 Rating. HOWEVER, when it comes to winning a Oscar, It IS best to go with An "R" rating. Which brings up the question: Should Seven Pounds be rated "R"?? If Will is serious about winning an Oscar for this one, I say the answer is yes. Most Oscar winning movies are rated "R". (Nowadays) And in a movie like this where box office income is NOT the primary motive it may be in the film's and Will's best interests. What do you guys think??? :sipread:
  5. AHHH, so many spoilers, it like dodging bullets!!!!!! I try to go into movies as "Fresh" as possible!!
  6. i bet he sells 10,000 albums and is never heard of again. sorry...
  7. i don't know it REALLY could be one of Will's best movies!! now is the time to start hyping it!!
  8. I REALLY hope that this rumor is not true. This movie is gonna be great!! Will should be a part of it no matter how big the role.
  9. Kinda sad, but it looks as though Will Smith will not team up with Steven Spielberg. AT least not on Chicago 7. And not anytime soon, as Chicago 7 has been delayed. It is not yet FULLY confirmed that he is not in the in the cast, but it seems as though he is not. :shakehead: Heres the link: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=42271 Any other directors will should work with??? My vote goes to Spike Lee or Scorsese or M.Night Shyamalan.
  10. wow interesting, don't know how much of that i should believe, but very interesting. lol Grant Nieporte, the writer of this movie, wrote for Sabrina the teenaged witch and 8 simple rules. so....yeah.
  11. a good actor does NOT need to curse to make his point, (Consider I am Legend) BUT if that is what happened in the actual story than it should be nessasary to have in the movie.
  12. I thought that it was great!!! hilarious!!
  13. a soundtrack sounds cheesy, but the movie looks fun. And we can be sure that Will won't disappoint!
  14. i dunno, i think it may be a real opportunity for people to see Will really take it to other major actors and show his supremacy. Plus I don't think he's ever really done a big Collaboration movie yet. Plus Spielberg should (hopefully) make it work. lol OOOOPS!! I'm SORRY I didn't Notice that there was already a topic about this...feel free to close this thread!!! :paperbag:
  15. hey you guys!!check this out. Will may be in the running for Steven Spielberg's next movie: The Trial of the Chicago 7 While of course nothing is Confirmed this would be a great movie. and honestly could be a much better choice than "Seven Pounds" here take a look: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=40624 I know its is DEFINITELY NOT CONFIRMED, but it could be a really good story. :sipread:
  16. i don't know why we're still discussing this... but i just realized that we actually have one of the most intelligent and forums in all the internet. we should actually be proud of the fact that everyone involved in this thread has spoken respectfully and intelligently about this subject. it just goes to show that smart music begets smart people, and respectful friends... :clap2:
  17. can we just let this die yet....please?.... :sinking: maybe it just me but, com'n, we all realize what will said, and we all realize that people misconstrued it. what else needs to be said? Will knows hitler was a bad guy end of story. but Will is smart enough to realize that people's own twisted minds lead to their downfall. people are just looking for controversy...don't promote it...
  18. looks GREAT! this movies gonna be classic. looks like a spiderman pic. Nice.
  19. This is such a strange topic.... I'm surprised its still going...hint...hint.... :stickpoke: I can understand why will said what he said and i'm sure in Hitler twisted, whacked-out mind he thought he was doing the right thing. But as Will obviously knows, Hitler was a madman and a very BAD guy! However the same can be said for many dictators, they think that they are doing the right thing, but only in THEIR minds.
  20. NO NO NO!!!!! this is what you do when your career is over!!! DON'T DO IT!!!!!
  21. this is merely the "funny trailer". Expect different types. remember how complex this movie is supposed to be. (sorry double-post!)
  22. looks fun and funny!!! add sum drama, and we've got a classic on our hands!!
