  2. Ashutosh Gowariker wants Will Smith's son for role in Buddha Ashutosh Gowariker is on the lookout for a dark-skinned boy for one of the characters in his next epic, Buddha. And it is being said that Ashu has his heart set Will Smith's 11-year-old son Jaden Smith. The film, which will be in English, has been written by Oscar winner David Ward. Ashu had mentioned the strong possibility of a foreign actor for the role of Buddha as well. Keeping options open The source continues, "There will be many Indian actors in the film as well. One of the characters involves a boy and the director is keen to have Jaden Smith for the part." Gowariker plans to fly out soon to meet the father and son. He has also lined up auditions for the same character in India; just in case Plan A doesn't work out. The Jodhaa Akbar director was very impressed with the child's role in Pursuit of Happyness, where he played Will Smith's son's role." The movie will go on floors in May 2010. The pre-production work of finalising the locations, technicians and artists has already begun. The movie will be produced by Spice Enfotainment at a budget of 100 crores. Ashutosh, who is presently finishing the shoot of What's Your Raashee, remained unavailable for comment. Source!

  6. Jada Pinkett Smith's 'Human Contract' to Hit DVD in June Jada Pinkett Smith's film, 'The Human Contract,' will be released on DVD on June 30. Starring in the film are Jason Clarke, Spanish superstar Paz Vega, Idris Elba, Pinkett Smith, Ted Danson, Joanna Cassidy and Tessa Thompson. The film follows Julian Wright (Clarke), a charming and megasuccessful businessman with a secret. With his personal life in shambles, Julian finds himself willing to travel down the rabbit hole, when he meets Michael Reed (Vega), a gorgeous stranger who entices Julian to forget his rigid corporate world and adopt a more bohemian lifestyle, a decision that not only affects his life but also inspires his half-sister, Rita (Pinkett Smith), to re-examine her own. Pinkett Smith, who makes her directorial debut, wrote the script. Husband Will Smith is one of the executive producers. http://www.blackvoices.com/blogs/2009/05/12/jada-pinkett-smiths-human-contract-to-hit-dvd-in-june/
  7. I'm not sure if people will want to see celebrities joking about the economic problems though.
  8. I love 'Miami', it's a pretty catchy song. The remix is decent too.

  13. John Lee Hancock to write and direct feature By TATIANA SIEGEL Sony Pictures Entertainment and Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment are set to dive into the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Studio and shingle have obtained bigscreen life rights to John Keller, an ex-Marine who orchestrated the rescue of 244 of his New Orleans neighbors after their building, the American Can Co., was flooded in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The five-story structure sat in 11 feet of water after the breach of the levees. John Lee Hancock ("The Rookie," "The Alamo") is onboard to write and direct. In addition to Keller's life rights, Sony acquired Adetoro Makinde's spec script, which chronicles the heroism of Keller and will serve as a starting point for Hancock's draft. James Lassiter, Smith and Ken Stovitz are producing through their Sony-based Overbrook banner alongside Back Door Films' Makinde. Nicknamed "The Can Man," Keller has been profiled in several publications. He has said that he was motivated to help not out of any financial gain, nor a desire to be a hero, but a concern for the elderly residents of his building. Hancock is currently shooting the Sandra Bullock starrer "The Blind Side." http://www.variety.com/article/VR111800401...yId=13&cs=1

  16. I never noticed he was saying that, he disappoints me a lot :( You've said before that "Eminem was the best rapper in History for you", and you haven't read the lyrics to 'The Real Slim Shday'? Damn! :lolsign:
  17. Well done Lakers!!!
  18. Hehe, BW, you wrote 'Where That Day Takes You' as the title of this video, and also in the video description it says 'Where The Tay Takes You' . I just found that funny :lolsign: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCUgIQeGROY
  19. The 'The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air' music video would be on the DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince list. And I don't think 'Yo Home to Bel-Air!' (which is a remix of the 'FPOBA' theme) has an official music video. I know there is a video of it on Youtube, -> this one <-, but it doesn't seem official. Not sure though. PS: I hope to see the 'Nightmare On My Street' music video before I die!
  20. At least it's better than the 'Lovely Daze' music video, isn't it? :lolsign: I think it's official.
