DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince were back together again when Will Smith dropped by Melbourne's Metropolis Studios with his old pal Jeff Townes to record his next single.
Metropolis in-house engineer Haydn Buxton assisted with the recording.
Smith spent less than 48 hours in Australia on his promotional visit for 'I Robot' and managed to knock off 5 hours of recording time at Metropolis.
As DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince, their 1988 album 'He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper' went on to sell more than 2.5 million units in the USA fuelled by the success of the hit single 'Parents Just Don't Understand'.
In the 90's they had further hits with 'Summertime' and 'Boom Shake The Room' but by 1993, Smith decided to concentrate on his acting career and went on to star in 'Six Degrees of Separation', 'Independence Day' and 'Men In Black'.
After the split, Townes became a producer and set up the company A Touch Of Jazz.
