  1. A novel titled Interior Mirror is released to mammoth commercial success (despite middling reviews). However, a curious social trend emerges: Though no one can prove a direct scientific link, it appears that almost 30 percent of the people who read this book immediately become homosexual. Many of these newfound homosexuals credit the book for helping them reach this conclusion about their orientation, despite the fact that "Interior Mirror" is ostensibly a crime novel with no homoerotic content (and was written by a straight man). Would this phenomenon increase (or decease) the likelihood of you reading the book?

  2. Am i the only one who thinks this idea has fallen flat on it's face.

    TYME 2 DELETE!!

Unless Scy puts on a bib and puts his grub down with some Kibbles + Bits.

Okay, I was wondering if the necessity of this thread was gonna be brought up soon lol because honestly it probably should be :speechless: but here's the deal: First of all, I am never going to eat dogfood, so lets just make that clear now. :toetap: Secondly, I've pretty much spent the last few weeks of my life completely and totally consumed with the process of deciding where to go to college. Today, however, I finally made the decision (drumroll, please): I'm headin down to the greater NYC area next fall and accepting a full ride at Iona (HELLS yes) and telling Syracuse and its ultra-prestigious journalism program to take its whack tuition and stick it up its collective posterior. :ridepony: ANYways, this means that I can now breathe again, and not spend my every waking moment stressing over this decision. Translation? This thread might actually start being used. And my long-dormant L&F reviews might pop back up soon too. :antlers: In any case, give me a couple days, at least? I'll be all over these things tommorow, if all goes according to plans. :thumb: Plus, it's worth noting that this thread, if nothing else, can provide a valuable service to these JJFP fan forums as a whole: theoretically, it should help to contain my long, unnecessary rants :blabla: in one, easily-avoidable place.

  3. I know that many if not most of the members on this forum are from other countries, and I think it would be interesting as well as enlightening to hear what your thoughts are on the events that are taking place in the middle east, especially with the elections having taken place in Iraq, developments in Lebanon, Iran's movement towards nuclear capability, etc... Fully aware that much of the world sees these things differently from the US... It would be interesting to hear the next generations ideas and opinions on these issues.

:werd: I'd thought about puttin a post up like this tons of times before, b/c I really am interested to hear different viewpoints on stuff like this. I just wasn't sure if ppl wanted to discuss more serious types of things here, but I think it's a great place to, actually-- where else do we come in contact w/ so many different people from around the globe, w/ so many different vantage points?

  4. Let it be known that...

    A. I feel bad for BagoTrasho, b/c he clearly liked it alot here, but who cheats in an internet rap-battle? :confused3: I mean, I know it was easy and I guess kinda tempting but, comon lol it's an internet rap-battle.

    B. I'm actually a mess enough to be on the same page w/ Bossman's brand of humor. :hilarious: This is one of the few threads that have ever made me laugh out loud (not just type "lol" but actually laugh out loud).

    aaaaaaand...

    C. The highest praise must be given to Bossman for his TRULY inspiring usage of clickable smileys. Simply a masterful performance on some of those posts.

  5. I couldn't believe the Celtics won tonight.

I couldn't believe the Celts dropped Games 2 + 3 like that! Tonight was what SHOULD of been happenin all series. When they're firing on all cylinders, the Celts are ridiculously nasty, and Indy can't even think about keepin up. Special props for this W have gotta go to The Truth, who I'm sometimes critical of, for playin an amazing game with Toine on the sidelines (unjustly, I might add). He played within the flow of things offensively and defensively and his box was quite full when it was all said & done: 30 pts on 10-15 shooting, 7 boards, 8 dimes, 5 blocks, just 1 turnover, and a steal, for good measure. We're takin this thing in 6...

  6. I'm almost 100% sure this is how it went down...

Will: "Hey, guys: let's take a photograph in a wierd pose so that the folks down at Jazzy Jeff Fresh Prince Dot Com Slash Forum can create humorous captions for it."

    Trey: "Great idea, dad!"

Ali: "That's TOTALLY my favorite website."

  7. Quick recommendation (I'll have more lata): "Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs: A Low Culture Manifesto" by Chuck Klosterman, which I read a couple months back. It's TOP NOTCH. Insanely entertaining, very interesting and funny... even if his conclusions are sometimes over-the-top. You need to get this book. :poke: It's actually where I plagerized all those "Completely Relevent Questions" (hitler's skull v. turtle, kick a friend in the ribs) from before lol.

  8. Every time I see pics of Jeff in those, I seriously contemplate turning in my contact lenses for some old school, huuuuuuuuge, tinted Jazzy specs. Luckily, I always come to my senses, but I really do think they're cool x10000000 (that's alot of cool).

  9. Those lyrics are pure, unadulterated hate. For all the talk about some rappers being homophobic for their casual, slang-type use of suggestioning homosexuality and the "f-word" as disses, this is straight up, hold-no-punches HATE on the gay community. No matter WHAT your "views" are on gays/lesbians, that is, w/out question, objectively wrong, ppl. Not sure if I could write off collabing with someone like that as just a musical association, but I guess that was Will's call.

  10. Scy celebrated his victory over Lerkot with Will, Jeff, and Tim -- who, evidently, were all there with him during his battle, which, apparently, took place on a giant record of some sort -- and tried to remember why he was in Australia...

  11. There's a cascading effect with single releases... Not all countries have switch yet, and we certainly can't wait until it's been released in all countries and doing well before another single is released. We have to keep move forward. Conventional wisdom says that an artist should wait until a single reaches its peak before releasing another single... However, in Will's case, it may be a good idea to "flood" the airwaves and try to get two hit singles on the charts at the same time. This would generate interest in the album as people will be thinking... Hey, Will has two hits on this album, maybe I should check it out. Look at all the G-Unit garbage on the radio... like 4 tracks are out at the same time right now... Switch is a party track... it did what it needed to do... it generated some initial interest for Lost and Found. It's time we gave it a partner in crime on the charts...

    Ummmmmm... what he said. :thumb:
