    I agree there is some truth in your statement. But there are also young MC's out there like Lupe Fiasco or B.O.B who got skillz on the mic and are creating buzz!

    Of course there are exceptions. But, an up and coming rapper sounding like Lil Wayne has more chance of getting a deal than someone who sounds like WS. It all depends on how you approach it. If you wanna make money and get heard quick, make commercialy accepted music, if ya wanna be true to yourself and make whats real to you whether it makes you money or not, try to break the mould.

    IT'S SOMETHING and it shows he has SOME kind of love for the game still.....

    Doesnt recording in the studio with no real intent to release/make profit show TRUE love for the game?

    you can't deny that this own words these last 6 months showed an apathy to the game.

    Yeah, you're right. But I'd hazard a guess that he's still been in the studio just for fun whilst he's been saying what he has.

    Rihanna & Brown Split?: Taking Time Apart

    RIHANNA and CHRIS BROWN are taking time-out from their turbulent relationship, according to friends.

    Pop star Rihanna was allegedly assaulted by Brown during a violent bust-up last month, but the couple rekindled their romance shortly after.

    However, the on/off pair are currently on opposite sides of the US, with a pal telling E! they are “taking a break”.

    While Rihanna is busy partying with such A-list buddies as JAY-Z and BEYONCE KNOWLES in New York, Brown is keeping a low profile in Hollywood.

    A source said: “He’s just putting ideas down for some songs he wrote.

    “He needs to feel like he’s moving forward.”

    Brown has been charged with assault and making criminal threats.
