I've updated the store page on my PC but people cant seem to see the image within the page. I've even uploaded the actual image to my domain space but people say they can only see the red x. Does anyone know how I can make it so they see it properly? Its weird because when I click on the link everything shows up fine! :hmm:

Here is the link:

Any help would be appreciated!

its because of this "file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/Ewan/Desktop/Brakes%20Store/store.jpg"

u need to enter the url to the ONLINE pic, not to the one on ur computer

thats why u can see it.

I'm not quite sure what you mean! The html document I created all contains the jpeg picture and the paypal buttons! You can see the buttons fine but not the background picture. The URL address is the link I posted above and is already uploaded along with the pic????

u need to edit the source of the picture, because the current one targets to ur computer!

file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/Ewan/Desktop/Brakes%20Store/store.jpg

changes to

http://www.dabrakes.com/store.jpg

or wherever u have located the picture.

//edit

its this line

<div align="center"><img src="file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/Ewan/Desktop/Brakes%20Store/store.jpg" width="1015" height="677">

:yeahthat: He's right Brakes....when you right click on the red X and show the properties of the image it will show you this: file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/Ewan/Desktop/Brakes%20Store/store.jpg

It gives you the place were the image is located on your computer.

Did you put the picture on your server? That might help! :smart:

Ok I've done that! Does that make a difference to anyone??

The problem was when I was creating the page in dreamweaver instead of point the source to the online location it was pointing to one on my PC! Thanks for clearing that up guys!! :2thumbs:

its still there:

<div align="center"><img src="file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/Ewan/Desktop/Brakes%20Store/store.jpg" width="1015" height="677">

just open the file with notepad and replace the part between " "

it should look like this then:

<div align="center"><img src="http://www.dabrakes.com/store.jpg" width="1015" height="677">

It should work. I got someone to test it on their PC and everything came up fine!
