  1. with Busta or DMX and make

great music selling millions instead of doing teenybopper **** with 50 and the G-String girls?.. He don't need 50 but I guess it's only about the money now

well dmx or busta is really his style. dmx is too angry for him..

if you think about it, 50 and LL are both "ladies men" so they can relate on some level. BUt im thinkin your takin it a lil too serious, i do understand what your thinkin cause you love him too much, but its not like he said that 50 ccent is my new lover and he will be on every track. hes producing it, makeing the beats, maybe gonna do the hook on one verse perhaps one verse...hes not saying i wanna be 50, hes saying i want a hot album...hot beats. 50 cent has the hits so i see where the money issue comes in. but i think its more about quailty beats

  2. Suga Free is a master at syncopation. He can spit so many words in one line it's hard to comprehend, which I love. E-40 is the same way, and he can also vary his tone at the same time. It's just crazy.

gift of gab spits really fast sometimes as well... and on beat.

twista spits really fast too but im not that crazy about him..i like maybe 2 or 3 songs

  3. In the end I had to go with Silver Tiger, the deciding factor for me was where Concept tried to play with his voice, I thought that really hurt the rhyme. Both in the part where (I think) he was mocking Silver Tiger and at the very end where he shouts "trophy".

i wasnt mocking him on the trophy... but yeah i kinda agree in my mimicking him wasnt as good as i thought it to be.

  4. The final showdown, odds against me

Cocky concept being all I can be

    Extension more time

Are you too stupid to understand what’s going on couldn’t figure out a line?

Let’s talk real rappers responsible people

Fake trust you created don’t be deceitfully now

Don’t understand your problem with recording- and i

I talk really fast for kicks it’s really irrelevant

Im flabbergasted at the fact that this here fella spent

4 days writing not spittin his raps

Requested two more days and look what happened

Made the cut by 5 slim minutes

Im done in a 6th the time you gotta be kidding

Im 3 years younger, 3 times your skill

My 3rd final round on this site for Will

That’s 3 times the experience in this field of rhyme

And it’s the 3rd time I’ve claimed it for mine

I see you’re dry for thoughts so you write me a story

The end result is it’s comical for me

Reread your verses maybe you’ll find

That only half are disses, unlike mine

Good like a ghostwriter ill take that sign

Perfect placed lyrics and amazing design

You used a metaphor which was “ill finish the race”

Too bad you’re exhausted and now you taste

That blood in your mouth, over this dope beat

Nail you to a cross now give me my trophy

"I take 7 mcs put em in a line, and add 7 more brothers who think they can rhyme and it will take 7 more before i go for mine, and thats 21 mcs beat up at the same time"

bears a striking remembelance to a line on Uuhhh by will smith

"I can take twelve rappers and put em in line

Then twelve emcees that think they can rhyme

Then twelve more brothers that still ain't signed

Then, don't do nuthin, just watch em decline"

    andddd

    "im the R the A to the K I M

if i wasnt then why would i say i am"

from as the rhyme goes on

kinda sound a little bit like the way i am by eminem

"And I am, whatever you say I am

If I wasn't, then why would I say I am?

In the paper, the news everyday I am

Radio won't even play my jam"

those are the only ones i rememver but its interesting to see who bit

  10. DJ Jazzy Jeff

    Hip Hop Forever III

    (Rapster ***1/2)

On his second mix CD for the Rapster label, longtime local hero Jeff Townes, as usual, shines by pointing the spotlight at others. On Hip Hop Forever III, a follow-up to 2004's HHF II, Will Smith's better half digs into his crates to tell a personalized version of hip-hop history, blending cuts by heavy hitters such as Eric B. and Rakim and A Tribe Called Quest with lesser-knowns such as Canadian MC Saukrates and New York conscious rapper Mister Complex. It's a smooth, idiosyncratic mix that subtly shows off Townes' scratching and production techniques and is a reminder that beneath the pop veneer of DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, there was some serious musicality at work.
