I just wanted to give a warm Mother's day wish to all the JJFP fam that is with their mother's, friends, or sisters who are celebrating Mother's day today. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as your Mother(s) do...
I read something that Skillz (JEff's potna) wrote about how hard Mother's Day is for him, after losing his mother, and I really felt his loss and pain. I lost my mother when i was 15 ... If anybody has him on their myspace friendlist... drop by and show ur support and some JJFP love. (let him know u from JJFP.com fam ,...) because like he sayd,... aint nothing like having your mother, and people dont realize just how important how a mother is until we lose her...
imma prolly catch a movie, daughter cooked breakfast. haha... and take a nice nap that i dont normally get a chance to do during the day. whoo hoo... its my day to be as lazy as i wanna.... anybody wanna come over!!... come right on... ill take a back rub, pedicure, and another backrub. lol j,k

well alrighty now. I KNOW there are alot of musically inclined semi pro's on this site.. and yall gonna leave me hanging like that? LOL... well.. in case anyone wanted to figure out how to solve this problem in the future.. whooo boi... this is what I did, and im rollin smooVe now...
ok... to start off... lets playback some Dr. Rex Loops with P/T...
I had to create a stereo Instrument track & insert Reason (adapted). I flipped the Reason rack, and then went to to the Reason Menu > Edit > Select ALL devices. Then I disconnected devices. (Patch cables, etc...etc) Using a Mac, I had to Right click ( control + click) the DR rex Modules on L. audio & select the Hardware Interface... & then assigned it to input 1. (With a PC, I think you just right click) As you can see, this method bypasses 'ReMix"... ok. now back to ProTool Mix Window.
Now, rewire is assigned to Input 1+2 (Mix L and Mix R) This is the default setting. Which is fine for me.... for the moment. lol. Next, I assigned the the instrument tracks > MIDI Input... this was done by going to: ProTools menu > View> Mix Window > Instruments. Click the MIDI output selector & select Dr. Rex from the drop down menu. (Unfortunately, because I had no MIDI controller / keyboard set up, I had to do this freehand... using the pencil tool... (which is cool... i cant play the dam keyboard anyways. LOL) :lolsign:
so... In the Mix Window: set to > edit mode > Grid > choose the grid value to 1/8th note. Select the pencil tool and place a note where Dr. Rex can be triggered. (IE. Octive 1) whoooo boiiii... was this weekend a GREAT weekend. .. dang, i gotta get up in 4 hours and just getting my session set up properly. hahahah. ok... just thought I'd share, since I did finally get it set up after a weekend of stress... AND more importantly, with guidance! This is a pretty advanced method of doing it... but WAY more proficient...

I made a MySpace bulletin last night and a few people have reposted it, you just gotta copy the above code into a bulletin, it doesnt look like much at the minute, but trust me it works.
yea.. .im one of those ppl who copped it off of you BW.. lol but i gave u props in the first bulletin i copped. haha ...but, i got it by ,.. pressing the 'reply' button to ur bulletin and just copy the HTML/Java script whicheva ...etc.. code and reposted.. i think imma keep reposting it for awhile, cuz sometymes ppl on my buddy list keep posting these stupid retarded bulletins, and i see it back like 2 or 3 pages...dang on it..

I am working on a project in my studio, and haven't really used Reason b4,...and was trying to print a Dr. Rex drum loop to a stereo track in my ProTools Session, and its not working for sum reason or another. I really wanna blame it on my gear, but more than likely the problem is with something that I did. lol. My transports are obviously not communicating properly, or my I/O settings are not plugged in to the right AUX track or Stereo tracks in PT ... but does anyone know how to print from Reason into PT without me having to go to extreme measures of solo~ing the track and then exporting it as a .wav file...then drag that wav file into Pro Tools...
I think it 'printed' but instead of an audio waveform registering, i see a STRAIT line. LOL... with absolutely NO audio whatsoever. I am using Reasons Adapted that came with my Digi003 Rack. Could this version of Reasons be a slight prob? damg on it.
please help someone, anyone,... SANTA CLAUSE !!!!! ...

I knew it!! This is great. I'm sure this album is gonna do much more than some of the people on this board think.
I was just wandering the same about album sales... i cant wait. This seems like a method that will give the album perfect hype. haha. Majour record labels never pulled any sort of promotion off like this that I know of... then again i dunno. lo

back on the topic of purchasing the album at I Tunes Music store...
I catch the "Steve Harvey Show" most mornings, and during one of the commercial spots, none other than Jazzy Jeff himself,... was doing a promo of the new album just for I Tunes Music Store. So, this is an obvious smart az move on his behalf. hahaha... I bet Jeff said,... "If you can't beat em... (freeloading`~ downloaders) ... join em & make that money!" LOL

The question is though does Justin want to work with Will because he really likes him or does he just wanna work with him because Will is the most powerfull movie star in the world right now? AJ... do u remember several years back, when alot of us were doing heavy online promotions of some Will Smith projects with movies, a coupla album releases etc.. ??? There was one or two in particular that you did, and you asked me to edited abit for typos/.errors etc ... but,... there's one in particular with a LOT of pics, that i need to breeze thru real quick. lol... if you still have the link to that page, please send it to me via pm if its private, or on this thread if possible..thx...
