I'm 15 as well...
Awesome how today's youth can appreciate and respect ol-skool rap such as JJFP and not let themselves be brainwashed by all the crap circulating radio/tv and CD stores. -

Haha thats on of my favorites. The thing I love the best about JJFP is the way they incorporate slick punch lines in their songs. I love everyone of them and it would take me a long time to copy and paste each one....I usually put them in my AIM profile alot.

I'm not sure if it would still apply. I mean, Will's done more movies than he's ever done albums. He hasn't done a music tour in ages except for little stops here and there when touring for the movie he's promoting. I dont know anymore...

I'm thinking in 2006 the Fresh Prince of DVD will come out. thats my guess. -
This song is alright. Good message but does it still apply 10 years later? lol...most likely.

to be honest, I've been a fan of Will Smith's music and fresh prince of bel-air since around 1998. I remember I was on a school bus in 5th grade going on a field trip to New York City. This girl had Big Willie Style and I liked it. I also remember my mom had the Big Willie Style cassette. I'd listen to that a lot. I never really did research on him until late 2000. I went online and found all these CDs he did. Will 2k was also a hit that I loved and it made me get Willenium and BWS together.
Early 2002, I'd be on the old cdnow.com listening to samples. Specifically to Code Red. I had 56k back then and it took me a long time to download music. I only downloaded 2 full tracks off that album. "Boom! Shake the Room" and "Code Red". Inbetween that I would just have the 30sec samples on repeat. I would go on sites like this and learn about JJFP. I then looked to get the CDs. I went to a nearby Warehouse Music store and bought used copys of JJFP's 5 CDs. Great condition they were in too!
So here I am, I've learned so much about JJFP from this site and people like Tim and AJ. Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince are my top favorite musical artists of all time. :dancingcool: :rock: :rock: -

So true. Unfortunatly, Columbia with all the songs they chose as singles, the singles made Will look more as a "pop" rapper than a regular rapper. Take songs like "Freakin' It" and "Miami". Yeah, they are good songs and seem like hits but they don't look good for Will's image. I don't have a problem with the songs that were released off Big Willie Style, but for Willenium, "Will 2k" was a must to release, but "So Fresh" should have been the next single. Then the last could be "Freakin' It". So Fresh definatly should have been promoted and released as a single. Infact it was, but only on vinyl to clubs and stuff. No promotion, no nothing for it.
I wouldn't mind having "The Rain" being released as a single either. All of Will's 3 albums could have done way better than they did if Columbia just added more promotion towards the albums and it's singles.
