  1. I think Will has read your comment, Julie... :lolsign: Will Smith and Jada: Don't know much Scientology Tuesday, March 18th 2008, 4:00 AM Will Smith, Jada Pinkett and Kimora Lee Simmons are loudly denying Radar magazine's claims that they've been recruited into — dun dun dun! — the Church of Scientology. Smith, a good buddy of Scientology poster boy Tom Cruise, denies he is a church member. "You don't have to be Jewish to be a friend of Steven Spielberg. You don't have to be a Muslim to be a friend of Muhammad Ali. And you don't have to be a Scientologist to be a friend of Tom Cruise," Smith tells us. "I am a Christian. I am a student of all religions. And I respect all people and all paths." Despite reports she distributed the Scientology book "The Way to Happiness" to N.Y. school kids, Simmons' reps also denied her involvement. But while celebs are distancing themselves from the cultlike religion, Radar's blistering six-page expose of the church says leaders are more concerned by the dissension of its former members, namely the shadowy network of ex-Scientologists known as "Anonymous." The group is credited with leaking the now-infamous recruiting tape of Cruise laughing maniacally (in an equally creepy turtleneck). The pranksters/hackers also managed to crash the church's Web site for three days and post confidential Scientololgy documents and lectures on YouTube. Said Church spokeswoman Karin Pouw: "This group of cyber-terrorists ... has targeted the Scientology religion with hate speech and hate crimes" and has even left "threats to plant nitroglycerin bombs in churches." http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2008/03/...much_scien.html END OF STORY!
  2. Will didn't diss the gangsta rappers, Will dissed the gangsta rap. He didn't attack anybody. In fact, it was them (gangsta rappers) who criticized him before, questioning his rapping skills and saying he was weak. It was Will who fought back, but he did it with songs, with an album, with style. And the most important of all... why now? It's a bit late to make such comments, don't ya think? The only reason I find is that Dre is jealous of Will. Period.

  4. Will Smith Not A Scientologist, Confirms Rep Will Smith's representative has confirmed to TheCelebrityTruth.com that the movie star is not a Scientologist, after reports continue to circulate on gossip blogs and tabloids that he has joined the controversial religion. According to the April edition of Radar magazine (via msnbc.com), "The Church has also set its sights on African Americans, opening up a center in Harlem in 2003, and making a strong play for Hollywood supercouple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett." The article quotes an 'unnamed source' who claims that Smith is "getting more and more involved (in Scientology)... and it isn't just him, it's definitely Jada, too." The story has been picked up by numerous gossip sites including Perez Hilton, however, when TheCelebrityTruth.com checked in with Pat Kingsley – Smith's representative – Kingsley vehemently denies the Scientology speculation. "As Will Smith's publicist I can tell you with 100 per cent certainty that Will is not a Scientologist," Kingsley says. http://thecelebritytruth.com/will-smith-no...irms-rep/001178
  5. By Courtney Hazlett The Scoop updated 9:56 a.m. ET March 17, 2008 Are Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith and Kimora Lee Simmons the new celebrity faces of Scientology? The case is certainly made in “Scientology Under Siege,” Radar magazine’s April cover story. In the piece, the magazine said, “The Church has also set its sights on African Americans, opening up a center in Harlem in 2003 and making a strong play for Hollywood supercouple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett.” Despite a fervent denial from Smith’s rep—“I can tell you with 100 percent certainty this is not true”—sources close to Smith earlier told this column that the actor definitely is becoming a member of the religion. “He’s been getting more and more involved (in Scientology),” said one source. “And it isn’t just him, it’s definitely Jada, too.” “It’s not so much that anyone is upset that Will is becoming a Scientologist,” the source added after seeing a copy of the nine-page Radar piece. “It’s that as he becomes more involved, you’d think he’d sort of help fly the flag with Tom (Cruise), who seems to only get a bad rap for it, while Will does this and comes through just fine.” As for Kimora Lee Simmons, the Radar piece makes the case for including her among the ranks of celebrity Scientologists. The magazine points to a 2006 gathering where Scientology leader David Miscavige “spoke glowingly of Kimora Lee Simmons’ efforts to distribute a personalized edition of Hubbard’s “The Way to Happiness,” featuring her image on the cover, to school kids in New Jersey.” Simmons’ rep said that the designer/model is not a Scientologist. If you’re curious about the other celebs that take part in the religion, Radar covers that ground, too. Ones you’re probably aware of are Kirstie Alley, Lisa Marie Presley and Jenna Elfman. Some you might not have known about include musician Beck, former “South Park” chef Isaac Hayes (Hayes reportedly quit the show after it spoofed the religion), Juliette Lewis, Giovanni Ribisi (whose sister happens to be married to Beck), FNC reporter Greta Van Susteren and the voice of Bart Simpson, Nancy Cartwright. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23664621 Never ending story...
  6. Will Smith is the new Mr Muscle WILL SMITH is no stranger to bulking up for film roles. He transformed himself into a heavyweight boxer for Ali, for which he received an Oscar nomination. And now he's pushed his body to the limit for latest movie, Seven Pounds. The plot sees Will's character change the lives of seven strangers. One look at his toned-up frame, he probably convinced them to head to the gym and work on their six packs. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...ticle928536.ece
  7. I got a question. Does anyone have "Chosen One"? I've been looking for this song for years. Thanks in advance. :signthankspin:
  8. Will Smith Freestyle over How We Do
  9. WILL SMITH's nephew is set to follow in his famous uncle's footsteps after recording a new single, BETTER MAN, with R+B hunk OMARION. Rapper K. Smith has also recorded a debut album, Streetz To Hollywood, with hip-hop heavyweight David Banner, and now he has his sights set on following his uncle's example - although insists he won't be quite as clean-cut. The 18-year-old says, "I definitely got more edge than my uncle. "But he showed me the ropes and taught me the business." And young Smith has empire-building plans of his own. He tells U.S. magazine Giant, "I want to establish K. Smith as a brand, put out 40 different artists, be in movies and create chocolate bars." http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/artic...20plans_1062651

  11. I don't think the use of violence is necessary Ty :lolsign: :lolsign:
  12. G-RATED rapper-turned-movie star Will Smith was secretly trashed on the soundtrack of his 2003 movie "Bad Boys II" - and the culprit was famed producer Dr. Dre. In his hip-hop memoir "Rollin' With Dre," Bruce Williams - who was Dre's confidant for nearly 20 years - says producers asked Dre to do some background music for a key scene. Williams writes, "We made sure that the music underneath that scene was the song 'Bitch Niggaz' from 'The Chronic 2001,' because that's what we thought of that hater, Smith. We had to get our fun where we could . . ." Smith has been critical of violent rap songs and has urged artists to tone down their lyrics. http://www.pagesix.com/story/dissing+will+smith
  13. Better than "Men in Black II", "Wild Wild West", and "I, Robot"? That's not very complicated. Better than "I am Legend"? I have my doubts. Although I am Legend wasn't an excellent movie, Will's performance was excellent, and I'd say it is at the same level as 'Ali' or Chris Gardner in 'Pursuit of Happyness'. So do you really think Will's performance as John Hancock is going to be better than his performance as Robert Neville? I really don't think so. Just my opinion.
  14. I couldn't have said it better myself. Judging by the trailer this is just a silly comedy, and certainly one of Will's worst movies.
  15. Man, that must be a joke... right?
