  1. I have three vinyls of the single. The first one is the word up records sigle with the following tracklist:

Side A: Radio Edit and Instrumental (5:12)

Side B: Def Mix (5:02) and Def Beat (3:00)

Then I have a small single with the Laidley & Oakenfold Mix and Guys Ain't Nothing but Trouble

And I have the 1988 single version including the 1988 Extended Remix, the 1988 SIngle Version, 1988 Instrumental version.

On Side B there are 4 tracks of Brand New Funk.

I also have the red colored vinyl version of Rock the House. This one must feature the original version of the song.

Try to get those 4 articles and you should have all remixes of the song.

    I hope I could help.

  2. That's not completely true. There are series who do great on dvd, even though they're done for many, many years. The Incredible Hulk starring Bill Bixby, for example. It sells great. Not only fans buying it, even younger people fell in love with the series thanks to the dvds. And why does it sell great? Because you won't see it on tv these days. So people think "hey, I haven't seen this in a long time. I'll buy".

  3. Hey guys, what would you think if columbia/sony or whoever has the rights of the song release a compilation album of unreleased Michael Jackson tracks? I think now, after Michael's death, it would sell very well. That would be a great chance to release a cd like including this 2 unreleased songs featuring Will, don't you think?

  4. I agree with you AJ. I never had problems telling people I like hip hop or especially Wills music. They respect my taste of music as well as I respect theirs. No matter, if these people listen to pop, rock, hiphop, house or metal. Basicly it depends on who you're talking with. I think that people, who laugh about Will Smith being a rapper, are either younger (I'm talking about little wannabe-50s or wannabe-eminems) or hardcore heavy metal dudes, who think that hiphop is soft.

  5. Warner claims high costs for music licenses and not enough sells of the first 4 seasons as the reasons for not releasing season 5+6. I believe that that's true, 'cause sellings weren't as high as seasons of ER, for example. But now, with series like ER going to an end soon (in Germany we have seasons 1-14 out on dvd, only season 15 is missing), they have to fill that gap. So I believe that sooner or later they will release our last two seasons.

But if they come out, I hope they won't change music cause if you buy a season of "Beverly Hills, 90210" on dvd here in Germany, you might be disappointed because they've changed a lot of music to keep costs cheap. I heared that this happened to the US dvds of "21 Jump Street".

  6. Yupp, you're both right, AJ and Brakes. Dre really surrounded himself with a whack crew. Eminem is very talented, but it started to get whack when 50 came along.

About Detox: Hmm, there are only 2 possibilities. It will be a classic or a failure. But I think it will be still dope, 'cause Dre always knew how to make a great beat. The only thing that I don't like is that Dre said he only wants to record with his aftermath guys, pushing new talents and all that. This would mean that there won't be another collaboration with Ice Cube or MC Ren. I'd love to hear one last N.W.A. reunion song.

Ice Cube said in an interview last august that Dre haven't called yet, but he would love to work with Dre one more time.

  7. Is it true that they cancelled the series now after 17 years? I read some rumors about it. Does anyone know something about it?

The Power Rangers were a huge success in Germany, too. And I used to love it when I was growing up. I watched till season 7, Lost Galaxy, I think. Then i stopped watching it for years.

The passion came back, when I watched an episode of the "Dino Thunder" season (the 12th, I think). I was shocked, when I saw Jason David Frank (played the green and white Ranger, Tommy) being in it. I watched some more episodes. They weren't as good as the old ones, but still interesting to watch.

And back in 2007, a small german dvd company named "Company of Kids" released the complete first season on dvd, and the passion came back. By now I own season 1-6, 9, 11 and 12 on dvd, plus the two movies *lol*

  8. What a strong collabo this would be. Michael Jackson and Will Smith.

But when I hear that Will recorded many more songs for his last two or three albums, why Interscope, Jive or Columbia aren't releasing a compilation album with unreleased tracks?

Just like Ice Cube's "Bootlegs & B-Sides" or the very very good "The Lost Tapes" record by Nas.

Especially Jive could release such a record. They did 4 best-of's by now (Greatest Hits, Before the Willennium, Platinum/Gold Collection and The Very Best Of), why not releasing a record with tracks like New Kids on the Block, From Da South, Get Hyped or Lovely Daze? I definately would buy such a record.

  9. You know, from the very first episode on I had this feeling that there was something ''not ok'' with her.

So the first 2 seasons Will was a great kid and suddenly the 3rd season he wanted to blacklist her ? Yes, because during one of Wills busiest times ever (with family, Trey, movies and music on top of his TV-show) all he wanted to do was blacklist her...yeah right.

Why did she sue Will and the studio whilest still working for them ?

Why did she lose the lawsuit ? Because she was wrong. So...the court wanted to blacklist her too ?

She got pregnant without letting the show know so they found out about it later on when all the programming and planning had been made long before....they still didn't fire her immediately and let her finish her contract.

I think this is a case of jealousy. During the first 2 seasons Will was a rookie in the game, didn't have as much as fame, during the end of season 2 and from season 3 on Will became huge and I think Janets ego got in the way. She just couldn't take Wills success. Well she should've been happy for Will instead of being so selfish. I suppose she thought the show was called Aunt viv of bel-air, but in reality it's Wills show The fresh prince of bel-air. She thought she was bigger then she really was.

And the way she keeps talking about Will, not a nice thing to do.

All I intended to write in the first place were just 3 words '' What A B....''.

I totally agree with you, Typhoon20.

Teaming her up with Ready rock C. LOL, that's great.

  10. What's up, people?

Ice Cube's latest record, Raw Footage, is out since August 19th. I ordered the BestBuy limited edition on ebay, and got it last monday. Since then I think I heared the album 3-4 times. I think it's more political than his last records and one of his best records ever. My favourite tracks are: Thank God, Get Use To It, It Takes A Nation, Why Me and Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It.

Nas' Untitled record is awesome. But I think Raw Footage is a little bit better than Untitled and it's my personal album of the year so far.

    My rates:

    Untitled: 9 out of 10

Raw Footage 9.5 out of 10

Now the question: Have you listened to Raw Footage? And what do you think of it?

    Peace.

  11. I watched Hancock last friday. It's a very very good comedy movie in the first half. The other half is a very good action movie. Finally a Will Smith movie you can watch and have fun. His last two movies weren't that funny.

To sum up and make the point: Great actors (Will and Charlize Theron were awesome), great movie. 9.5/10.

  12. Here's the list of songs featuring Will Smith/The Fresh Prince:

1.) "I Sleep Much Better (In Someone Else's Bed)" by Billy Ocean (1989)

2.) "When The Radio Is On" by Paul Shaffer (1989)

    3.) "Voices That Care" (1991)

4.) "Boy You Knock Me Out" by Tatyana Ali

5.) "Hey Sexy Lady Remix" by Shaggy & Sean Paul

6.) "Got To Be Real" by Mary J. Blige

Here are the sources, where you can finde them:

1.) On Billy Ocean's Greatest Hits cd or as a single

2.) On Paul Shaffer's album Coast To Coast or as a single

3.) On the Voices That Care cd single

4.) On Tatyana Ali's album "Kiss the Sky" or as a cd single

5.) On the Compilation album "Riddim Driven: Sexy Lady Explosion"

6.) On the Sharktale soundtrack cd.

    Hope, I could help.
