In his early movies Will had always great actors next to him...Martin Lawrence, Tommy Lee Jones, Gene Hackmann, Matt Damon, Kevin Kline... project!
Martin Lawrence is awful when he's not co-starring with Will in Bad Boys movies.
Well... I dont think that Martin Lawrence is awful. But to say that he is a great actor or even good is a bit over the top. I would put him in the "OK in comedies" genre. Gene Hackman is a great actor, Tommy and Kevin is actors that I haven't seen in resent good movies, but they have been good/great in the movies I have seen them in. Matt is not a great actor, but he is good. But that's just my opinion... :fencing:

Sorkin said the film would start shooting by the end of March 2008, "if the Writers' Guild Strike gets settled in time"This is the first time I hope that the writers strike doesn't get settled for awhile... If I remember right, will is still shooting Seven Pounds in march. I hope he will be in this movie, but I have a feeling that he won't. I just don't see him doing movies like these...

If he did this movie, it sound like he would be playing Bobby Seale, a black panther leader. That would be a real change of pace for Will. He was removed from the trail of the others and given his own, because he was consistently in contempt of court. He would relentlessly curse at the Judge.
Now I really want him to be in this movie! :wiggle:
I like how Wills name is in there with all the "real"/"serious" actors. I hope he gets casted in this movie. A real opportunity for him to be taken serious as an actor. But, yeah... This would be a great opportunity for will, and he's always talking about how he thinks that the next 5 or 10 years will be the best, this is a movie that could really make a great impact on his carer...

Saying that Will should stick to being the only "name" in the cast is great for us - his die hard fans but for him as an actor - not so much.
Well, I don't think its that great for us. If will started to do smaller roles in big films and not so big films (c'mon will, you should make more independent films), maby that means that we'll get to see him more often.

Yeah, this is his big chance, and he should really take it. The director, writer and the rest of the cast is the combination that can make a huge impact on Wills carer.

YES! I don't want to get my hopes up but... The last year I feel has been very negative surrounding wills music. Now there's a tour and a possible single. It feels like will is just teasing us, right now with the last months news it feels like a full album is just a impulsive thought away...

I just hope we'll get an interview about just JJ&FP and questions related to only music. I'd like to know how he feels, what his music plans are for the future, the current state of music and the industry. I'd like to know why he hasn't released Tell me why the song he likes the most. I wanna know if we'll ever get another album from him & JJ. Lately all his interviews are about movies and maybe, maybe there's 1 music related question but it's not good enough. I'm frustrated about not knowing what his plans are about music, and the thought of no music ever from JJ&FP let alone Will Smith is kind of depressing.

I was just looking through some stuff in my room when i found a cd i burned a long time ago. And when i put it in my mac I saw that it was the Live at Union Square track by JJFP. But this was 20 min. I prob found this and burned it in my "not-JJFP-fan-days". I looked through this forum and the site and found the podcast with the concert, and that one is also 20 min, but the sound ends after 15. the one I have is a little better quality, but not great. I just wonder if this version is rare? It has the "Rock the House" track at the end and Ready Rock C doing some beatboxing and saying his, JJ and FPs name...
I feel that this is something that I should really know, hope you guys dont think i'm a stupid non-JJFP-fan... :)

Man, my laptop just broke down. And now all my rare JJFP stuff is gone...

I've already started! about 100$ right now. but with a flight ticket, hotel and food it will be quite expensive for a 16 year old. But yeah, the worst thing would be if the dates got announced and I didnt have any money...

I gave it a 7. Only thing keeping me from giving it something below 5 is wills preformance. It's great! But the ending really sucked and i left the theater wanting more. The movie was way to short...
I just hope that we'll get an directors cut as soon as possible. But yeah, if Will hadn't been as good in it I would prob give it a 3 or 4...

I agree with the things that will said. I can't see how someone can take the things he said and get offended by that. Hitler was a bad bad man. But when he woke up he didn't think about how evil he would be today, and how many lives he would end. He thought about it as a "cleaning". He took the people that he thought were bad for the world and killed them to make the world a better place... In his sick and twisted mind he was doing the world a favor. No one does something that they think is wrong and horrific if they can choose. And I don't even think that willreign can think any different...

I'm suprised how few has responded to this thread, but i'm so hyped for this! Any info on if this will be like regular concerts or just "crappy" 10-15 min promotion?
Either way, i'm gonna be in london next summer to see hancock and hopefully see a full concert! Can't wait!
