  1. Hello !

What are the best books and DVDS (no movies !) about Will Smith and JJFP for you ?

I always wanted to have something about WS and/or JJFP music ! Books are DVDS !

About DVDS, I don't think there is something I'de like to have : something about music, with clips, making of,... or maybe lives !

I think the best they could do is 3 or 4 DVDS with clips, lives and television passage ! But it does not exist :(

About books, I'de like to have something rather about music too, about JJFP, and WS solo career !

  2. ok, thank you !

PS : I watched a clip, when Will Smith is in a french tv show, and a guy told him about this move with Jazz, and he say "do you rember the check you made witch Jazzy Jeff ?" : is that correct (the word) ?

Man, it's hard to name it ! In english, but it is very hard in french too !!!

  3. Hard to tell...

I think it was approximately 8 or 9 years ago (today I'm 21), when I started to listen to a radio which slogan is "Premier sur le rap" : "First on Rap Music". At the beggining, it was not listenning to the rap music, but for a show, every night (I'm still listenning to it today !).

And I guess I discovered rap music by the six songs that passed on radio during the show.

The first hip hop CDs I got are "Nuttea" (not rap, but kind of ragga/rap), Disiz la Peste (french rapper), and the single "Stan" (Eminem ; love that song !).

Then came Fonky Family and Sniper, two french crew.

Today, I listen almost only rap music. Eminem, Sinik (probably the best french rapper today, he is really really good), JJFP, Will Smith,... and I still have (and sometimes listen) Sniper, Snoop Dogg, Booba (french rapper), Sefyu (french rapper), Tupac, The Game,...

But, to link with my beginning, and the radio, today I don't listen the music that passed on this radio : I think they must change their slogan 'cause I don't think it is "rap". Just some things that absolutely don't look like rap music... Or maybe it is just because I grew up and I prefer an other style of music.

On the other hand, I discovered JJFP and Will Smith's music very lately. It was approximately 8 or 9 months ago. I fall on (I don't know if we use this expression in english !) an episode of The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, and I have not seen any episode of FPOBA since maybe 6 years ! I remembered the song, and I decided to search on the web if Will Smith has done others songs.

And I found all these albums, all these songs !

I decided to listened the songs by order of date, and I fall in love from the firts song : "Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble", that is my favourite JJFP's song !

And you know what, it is amazing : I just check my CDs to see the date of the first rap music' CDs I have. And I have a CD "NRJ Music Award" I bought before I started listen rap music. And you know what song is on that CD, and I just dicovered that it is on this CD ? "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" !!!!!!

Here is my story, I hope I didn't make too much english's fools, especially the past conjugaison...

  4. Hello !

I have a question : how do you calll the famous move Will & Jazz does to say hello ?

    jazzwill1wc9.gif

In french, sometimes, we use an english word : "un check" ("ils se font un check" wich means "they do a check") but I don't think you use this word in english.

Some people told me on a forum that we can say a high five (if the move is higher", a low five (a little bit higher), and this one is a "gimme five".

    Is that right ?

Is it a noun ? So can we say "It is Will and Jazz' gimme five" ?

    Thanx in advance !

  5. It is not in the second, third or fourth season (I search the word "boot" in every subtitles files). Not in the first (know it by heart, and I don't think it is in this one)

So it is in the fifth, or sixth.

Can you tell us more ?

Like the story of the episode, or maybe why he say that (it can help us the remember the story of the episode)

  6. Just one thing, I listenned to the new Black Eyed Peas yesterday ("Boom Boom Pow") and the first thing I think about is :

    - In the past, Eminem was very good. Songs he made today are crappy

    - In the past, Akon was quite good. Songs he made today are crappy

    - In the past, BEP was quite good. Song they made today are crappy.

And I can tell the same thing for a lot of french rappers, like Booba.

This is just my opinion, but it is a big disappointment.
