This is more like it!
Hell yeah -
Now I was never really a fan of Vanilla Ice, tho I do like the groove of Ice Ice Baby because of the sample of Queen
But I just stumbled on some of his music as I was surfing for music on utube, as I usually do
Now I haven't analyzed his music to see if theres any lyrical significance, but I don't really care
The guy can flow and the guy can put in some hard edged material when he wants to
Check out this song for example
Man, this is funkier then any rap song I've heard in a long time
I've checked out a half dozen songs and they've all got me dancing
I bet if you played this at a party, everyone would be jumping, lets be real now
Now, I'm not saying that he's a rap God by any means, but he can craft a damm good song
So much from the media image that made him into a joke
Similar to Rick James, they made him into a druggie Womanizer freak, when his songs have a greater
musical tapestry then anyone I've seen. But thats what they wanna make him known for
End of rant -
Rick James-Wonderful
-
Rick James-Save It for Me
and R U experienced
Man, check out the funk in the second one, wow -
Bigted, he probably hardly knows who the guy is, but is using him in a generic way to say that although rap on the surface is sometimes stupid with all the gangster/thug garbage, if you look closer there is a lot of substance and meaning in the lyrics.
I think its more a comment on rap, rather then Little Wayne -
"Disgust" is quite a strong word. Supposing theoretically that, economicaly, the US was improving because of the Republicans, it doesn't make Clinton a bad President because he continued on with that success.
I speed read Clinton's autobiography, My Life. On the international front, he was as well versed in international affairs as any President, he was an impartial peacemaker in the Mid East and an enviromentalist. What more could you want from a President.
Bush wasn't an evil President for getting rid of Saddam, but there are better ways of getting rid of
a madman then starting a war that left circa a million dead. There are just as many mad men in Africa,
but I guess Bush was pressured by the oil interests of his cabinet. Which is the worst thing you can
have in a President, to be pressured by outside interests rather then have a level head
Back on topic, kanye was dumb for a naive attack on Bush, but I do beleieve his 'dumb' attack did bring a greater attention to the situation there -
Ramones-Gonna Kill that Girl
-
Yeah Bush wasn't racist against Black people, but I think he was probably the worst President in US history. How you can go from Bill Clinton, one of the smartest people I've ever seen, to George, is unbelievable. Glad that period is over

Wont be getting this, but I'd love to hear some of the older live stuff thats leaking on youtube put
on CD, you know, like the full JJFP shows. THAT would be awesome -
Not to bring too much negativity, but why does a 9 year old need to be a "star", childhood only comes once,
whatever they wanna do I guess, but I dont get it -
lol

"This is why I call LL "The Unbreakable Master.' He has never won a single battle, yet he just keeps on coming"
Thats kinda funny
Well he might be biased, but there is some truth to what he's saying, I remember from those LL/Kool Moe battles, LL was almost singing
at times rather then straight battling, it made me laugh a bit actually at the time.
In LL's battles with Kool Moe, it seeems the battle aspect was secondary to making a good song, whereas Kool Moe Dee seems to have given everything he had in a lyrical assault against LL, to try and show whose the man. LL on the other hand, seems to have only done the battle begrudgingly to me.
I really don't think LL's full skills were on display in those battles, not remotely, from what we know LL can do
Honestly, although I would put LL above Moe, props to Kool for making it as fair as he could, without losing face -
Supremes-You keep me hanging on
Man, black people make the best music in the world -
Ramones-Blitzkrieg Bop
