Anyone else think this song is brilliant. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-MYVv4tgQc "Thou shalt not steal if there is a direct victim. Thou shalt not worship pop idols or follow lost prophets. Thou shalt not take the names of Johnny Cash, Joe Strummer, Johnny Hartman, Desmond Decker, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix or Syd Barret in vain. Thou shalt not think that any male over the age of 30 that plays with a child that is not their own is a peadophile. Some people are just nice. Thou shalt not read NME. Thall shalt not stop liking a band just because they've become popular. Thou shalt not question Stephen Fry. Thou shalt not judge a book by it's cover. Thou shalt not judge Lethal Weapon by Danny Glover. Thall shalt not buy Coca-Cola products. Thou shalt not buy Nestle products. Thou shalt not go into the woods with your boyfriend's best friend, take drugs and cheat on him. Thou shalt not fall in love so easily. Thou shalt not use poetry, art or music to get into girls' pants. Use it to get into their heads. Thou shalt not watch Hollyoaks. Thou shalt not attend an open mic and leave before it's done just because you've finished your ****ty little poem or song you self-righteous prick. Thou shalt not return to the same club or bar week in, week out just 'cause you once saw a girl there that you fancied but you're never gonna talk to. Thou shalt not put musicians and recording artists on ridiculous pedestals no matter how great they are or were. The Beatles: Were just a band. Led Zepplin: Just a band. The Beach Boys: Just a band. The Sex Pistols: Just a band. The Clash: Just a band. Crass: Just a band. Minor Threat: Just a band. The Cure: Just a band. The Smiths: Just a band. Nirvana: Just a band. The Pixies: Just a band. Oasis: Just a band. Radiohead: Just a band. Bloc Party: Just a band. The Arctic Monkeys: Just a band. The Next Big Thing.. JUST A BAND. Thou shalt give equal worth to tragedies that occur in non-english speaking countries as to those that occur in english speaking countries. Thou shalt remember that guns, bitches and bling were never part of the four elements and never will be. Thou shalt not make repetitive generic music, thou shalt not make repetitive generic music, thou shalt not make repetitive generic music, thou shalt not make repetitive generic music. Thou shalt not "pimp my ride". Thou shalt not scream if you wanna go faster. Thou shalt not move to the sound of the wickedness. Thou shalt not make some noise for Detroit. When I say "Hey" thou shalt not say "Ho". When I say "Hip" thou shalt not say "Hop". When I say, he say, she say, we say, make... some... noise?!- kill me. Oh, I forgot where I was. Hang on... Thou shalt not "quote me happy". Thou shalt not shake it like a polaroid picture. Thou shalt not wish you girlfriend was a freak like me! Thou shalt spell the word "Pheonix" P-H-E-O-N-I-X not P-H-O-E-N-I-X, regardless of what the Oxford English Dictionary tells you. Thou shalt not express your shock at the fact that Sharon got off with Bradley at the club last night by saying "Is it?!". Thou shalt think for yourselves..."

Was reading this article about British artist's in America and this caught my eye: "Interland, who signed Blunt on a "gut feeling" that his music would appeal to audiences around the world, says the time is ripe for British acts to make headway in the US. "Right now, the American market is in a little bit of a black hole with regards to good music. "There's some interesting things but most of it is a bit samey. Hip-hop has got into a bit of a glut," he says. Chris Dwyer at Universal Records agrees" http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6506763.stm I think now were really gonna see a big change in whats played on the radio, it's already happend in England, now other country's are starting.

Just to update you, Michael Bay just posted on his message board, he said that they are still writing the robot voices, and seeing as they only just confirmed Hugo Weaving as Megatron, and that is the second most important character, anybody could become involved in this film

KELLY ROWLAND - NEW ALBUM ON THE WAY
JamesUK replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Caught in the Middle
I really like the first album, but i'm put off by the second single, do we really need another ghetto song featuring snopp dogg or anyother rapper this has been done to death, it's not hard to see why the whole "urban" genre needs a push in the right direction creatively atleast -
Anyone else going to this just got my ticket - have a look at the line up, it's so good I may cry out of excitement!! http://www.readingfestival.com/images/pix/reading2007.jpg

Hmm i dunno this is a grey area, something like this is done in post production which they are probably heavily in right now it depends on how important the character is in the story
-
I can't wait for transformers, it's going to be one of the coolest movies ever, Will being in it doesn't really effect me watching it or not
-
Chinmen are funny, but yes that does need some explanation

Only producing this film but looks very interesting. http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=20483 "Neil LaBute, fresh from his triumph with The Wicker Man remake, and Ashton Kutcher, fresh from his triumph at, erm, something, are in talks to direct and star in the thriller Lakeview Terrace. The movie, which promises to deal with the hottest of hot potatoes – racism (underline, bold, italicise) – has already had Samuel L. Jackson and the very lovely Kerry Washington on board for a couple of weeks now, but with the addition of LaBute and the mega-talented Punk’d guru, all the pieces are falling into place. Perhaps we’re getting a little too cynical, and probably unjustifiably so. After all, until The Wicker Man, LaBute has proven himself one of America’s most intelligent directors, and his big brain might be just the thing to elevate Lakeview Heights beyond the realm of standard psycho-thriller. Certainly, the plot promises controversy aplenty, with Jackson playing the psychotic LAPD officer who mounts a terrifying campaign against his new neighbours, a mixed-race couple (Washington and Kutcher). Obviously, memories of films such as Pacific Heights and Unlawful Entry are stirred by such a plot, but normally you would expect the racist cop to be a white guy, so it’ll be interesting to see how LaBute handles the shifting racial politics in Lakeview Terrace – which, intriguingly, is produced by Will Smith and his producing partner, James Lassiter. Filming will start in Los Angeles in June. "

I'm so happy that wembley is finally going to be ready it's all set up for a Man Utd v Chelsea final, a good draw and I think everyone would like that to be the first final

Rap music is on the way down, but it will not come straight back up, other types of music will have their time first, history has tought us this. my friend told me an interesting phrase the other day "music is like candy, throw away the rappers" :wiggle:
-
explain ... unless you know some inside info about the jackson 5 or just mj performing, i'm not sure how you working this one out
-
Haha, there was alot to watch, will ferrell was amazing, jaden's part was good, the host was really good, espacially with clit eastwood/spielberg and scorsese well it's fun for us film buffs who have seen the films anyway :sipread:
-
It's quite simple, it's still the pinacle of a persons career in films, think about the people who have struggled their whole life just to get into the industry and achieve their dream, you just have to look at scorsese's career to see how important they are
-
Ohh so it's not so obvious who will win then Is it so bad that I wanna see Helen Mirren take home the oscar for England? And you all need to stop worrying about watching things just because of who is involved, I hate to break it to you but the Academy Awards are bigger than Will Smith.
-
So it's oscar night once again, personally it's just about my favourite night of the year so anybody else looking forward to this evening's festivites ?
-

Bad Boys 3: Bad Boy With A Vengeance? And in yet more Fuzz related news, action director par excellence, Michael Bay, has said that he is not averse to a second sequel to the immortal Bad Boys II, which of course inspired the Fuzz boys. Apparently Will Smith’s “people” contacted Bay (funny – we would have guessed that Lawrence would be the one chasing a sequel), about which the Transformers director said, “They’re fun to work with, those guys” and said that that he’d be willing to return to the franchise. We’re guessing that this time he’d have to blow up a good section of the Milky Way to top the explosive second film, but we’re sure he’d think of something. Is it a good idea though? The second film’s firmly in so-crazy-it-just-about-works territory – could then do that again? From empireonline.com
