    so maybe we're not all big fans of Eminem but after hearing his song "Toy Soliders" I kinda had a little respect for him.

    old issue-but he put that song on where he sez oh i should talk sh*t about people, look what happens-yet he insults celebs on his new cd including mikey jacko and others. songs like that are just to make him seem like he cares anything about his own success, when he does not. my fav line in his song is when he sez hes not only doing hip hop to diss other rappers, thats not why he got into it. in fact, thats how he made his name. thats just sad. he pulled himself up to the top of the rap game by pulling others down. maybe its just me, but ill never respect him. as far as will speaking to him, im sure its done in a very will smith fashion, classy-and direted to all haters, not just eminem..it should be interesting to hear

    email raido stations with requests- for example:

    thats z100s e mail address-bombard them will switch requests, a few an hr, if everyone does it a few times a day, we can all help promote..if youd rather do a diff station then do it--we should all help switch hit No 1!!!

    it may not mean much, and not to rain on anyones parade, but neither 106 and Park or Trl had Will's vid voted onto it. I even saw the top 15 on Trl, he wasnt even close..( i know- his vid wasnt an option to vote for, just write-in.) but still..it just doesnt seem to be a great start..noone i know on campus seems to have heard of it..maybe things will pick up once radio plays it more, if they do..ehh :dunno:

    Smith: I'm doing music this year, I don't have [another] film. I'm finishing my album up in the next week or so, and we just started leaking my single. It's called "Switch." The song, you know, I always keep a stash. You see, that's the thing: You gotta hit when they don't know what's coming. I got a single and the album's called Lost and Found, and the first week in April [is the due date] for the album.

    MTV: Excellent. Who did you work with on this record?

    Smith: I've got a song with Mary J. Blige, a song with Snoop — I've got a few tracks that are a real departure for me.

    MTV: Any live appearances this year? Will you be doing some shows?

    Smith: Yeah, probably as the album comes out, top of April, I'll start doing some shows, some Summer Jams and stuff like that.
