SUGE KNIGHT INVOLVED IN FATAL HIT + RUN WHEN TRYING TO SQUASH BEEF WITH DR. DRE

Recommended Posts

I was waiting for more details on this story...it looks like they're here. We all know Suge's past, so it's refreshing to read that he was trying to squash his beef with Dre. It makes you wonder if this incident was truly an accident or not. It clearly wasn't his plan A since he's not the one who started either altercation that day.

Suge Knight’s longtime beef with Dr. Dre is reportedly what sparked the fatal hit-and-run that left Terry Carter dead. Suge went to the set where they were filming the commercial for Straight Outta Compton in order put an end to his beef with his rival. However, he got into a shoving match with Dre’s security. Off duty cops saw the altercation and ordered them to separate. TMZ reports that a short time later Carter came to Suge and told him that Dre contacted him and wanted to meet so they can work out their difference. Believing it was a peaceful meeting, the former CEO of Death Row Records took him up on that offer. However, things went left and Suge was jumped before he even got out the car. The main suspected assailant that attacked Suge when he was in his truck is the other victim injured in the hit-and-run, actor Cle “Bone” Sloan.

Then the hit-and-run happened, which resulted in Suge running over Mr. Carter’s head and killing him. A close family member of Terry Carter told TMZ that Carter was “a sacrificial lamb.” The relative said Suge knew Terry was behind his truck but was out for blood, purposely reversing his truck to run over Bone thinking he was the only person behind him. Instead it was his friend Carter who was killed. The relative reiterated that it wasn’t an accident but flat out murder. Suge turned himself in to authorities earlier this morning.

Knight’s lawyer, James Blatt, told reporters it was an accident and Suge feared for his life. Blatt said that the murder charge could be dropped as early as next week. Suge Knight is being held in a downtown L.A. jail. His bail is set at $2 million dollars.

WHOA!! Just saw this on TMZ!

It is being reported that Death Row Records C.E.O. Marion "Suge" Knight was murdered in the jail where he was being held for murder. Investigators say Knight's cell mate DeAntwan Pardin, 29, stabbed Knight to death with a hidden pocket knife. Although authorities are not sure what caused Pardin to murder Knight, it is believed Knight’s gang affiliation and rap personality might have played a role.

Okay....there's already conflicting info...

------------------------------------------------------------------

Los Angeles – According to sources, rap mogul Suge Knight was released from West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station where he was held about two hours ago just after posting bail. Suge was arrested earlier today on murder charges in a fatal hit-and-run in Los Angeles after intentionally running over two men with his pick up truck, killing old time friend Terry Carter. Sources tell us Suge posted the $2 million dollar bail he was held on, but it seems as his freedom didn’t last very long.

Suge Knight was found dead approximately an hour ago on a road in the East Los Angeles area. Police found him laying on the road with three bullet wounds — one to the chest and two in the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene. No suspect has been arrested yet in connection with the homicide.

More details to come as they become available.

It looks like the death "news" is most likely fake. Anyways, here's comments from the victim's daughter...

Daughter Of Hit-And-Run Victim Calls Suge Knight A “Cold Hard Murderer”

Jan 31st, '15 by C. Vernon Coleman

More information is emerging surrounding the recent fatal hit-and-run involving former Death Row Records CEO Marion “Suge” Knight and it seems to conflict with initial reports about the incident. New witnesses and information are coming forward that would imply Suge intentionally hit the men with his truck, reports DailyMail. According to Lt. John Corina of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department detective’s unit, it, “looks like [suge] drove backwards and struck the victims and drove forwards and struck them again.” People who witnessed the incident also agreed the hit-and-run did not look accidental. “The people we talked to say it looked like it was an intentional act,” he added.

Despite initial reports that Suge and the victim Terry Carter, 55, were friends, Carter’s daughter, Meredith, is denying those claims and saying this incident was nothing short of a killing. “This is cold murder,” said Carter. “[suge] is a cold hard murderer, and my dad was a victim. [suge] is the most evil person in the world.”

In addition, Dr. Dre is claiming he never asked Suge to come to the set to make amends as claimed by Knight, according to TMZ. As previously reported, Suge alleges he initially went to the promotional shoot for Straight Outta Compton after getting word that Dr. was on hand and wanted to squash their long-standing beef. According to witnesses, when Suge arrived an altercation ensued with two staff members. Knight then jumped in his red truck to flee the scene and struck two individuals, Carter and actor Cle “Bone” Sloan, as he made his exit. Sloan suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Knight eventually turned himself in to the West Hollywood police station later that night. He is being held in a downtown L.A. jail. His bail is set at $2 million.

This is interesting. I'm wondering if he's just following the code, is scared for his life, and/or realizes that he stirred up some trouble and that nothing will bring back his friend.

Suge Knight’s Victim Reportedly Doesn’t Want To ‘Snitch’

Snitches get stitches. And even when you don’t snitch, you get run over.

The victim of Suge Knight’s hit-and-run incident has some insane loyalty. To whom however, is not clear. Apparently Cle “Bone” Sloan – yes, the man who was brutally injured by Suge and his truck – refused to snitch in court according to ABC 7 Los Angeles. In a touching (and confusing) testimony earlier this morning (Apr. 13), a teary-eyed Bone claimed he “doesn’t want to be used to send this man to prison.”

“Every day, I tried to forget it,” he added. “I just know, I screwed up, and Terry’s dead.”

Bone apparently tried to take the weight off of Suge for the death of his other victim, Terry Carter, and refused to help prosecutors. One might think that someone who was in the hospital with two fractured ankles, torn ligaments in both knees, and a shoulder injury would take the stand and demand some justice.

Either we all need to take a moment and witness this undying loyalty (no pun intended), or we need to take a moment to rewind those surveillance tapes.

Prayers up for Terry Carter and his family. – Olivia Jade Khoury

I think Bone is just abiding by the 'street code'.  He's pretty hardcore in the streets and I don't think he would be scared of Suge....
