  1. I think Bizarre tries 2 be alot of things...but he sucks at all of them. Sometimes he tries 2 write like Eminem...but the stuff Eminem isn't really shocking anymore...so when he tries 2 do it, it just sounds like he's trying 2 be like Eminem when he used 2 say shocking stuff...but it leaves no effect on the listener.

Trying 2 be something u aren't is the worst thing anybody associated with Hip-Hop or Rap could do. Sadly, that's what most rappers do. That's why they are a joke 2 me. When u listen 2 Fresh Prince, L.L. Cool J, Guru, Talib Kweli, Biz Markie, Young Rome, Twista, OutKast, Nick Cannon, Kanye West, Queen Latifah, and so on...u are getting the real person in the music. That's what it's all about. I rather listen 2 a rapper with weaker skills who be's themselves in their music than a sucka on the mic with ill skills but trys 2 be something they are not. If u check the Billboard Top 10, u often find those who don't be themselves AND have no skill at all.
  2. Spike Lee wazn't passed over for ALI. Will came and talked 2 him asking about his vision for the movie and their visions were different so Will didn't want him 2 do it. Spike Lee is definitly bitter but i don't blame him either. Spike shouldn't be 2 mad, after all, he wouldn't have been able 2 make his movie Get On The Bus without Will being one of the people who finacially backed it's production.
  3. I remember u guys talking about that. I'd love 2 know the connection of "Boom! Shake The Room" with KFC tho.' They probably had someone else rapping the song so that they didn't have 2 spend as much money 2 get the real song. Waz the beat the official instrumental or might it have been generic 2?
  4. I have a feeling that Will has 'the album' finished but that until he is ready 2 drop it and/or finds a label, he'll keep recording. There 2 things we definitly know thru' the recording process of this album. 1. Will is seriously tryna make this album his best ever (who records so much 4 one album without releasing ANYTHING) and 2, he really dose love music. So many people he's now this actor who just records every once in awhile just 2 do it. People can't say that anymore, his 1st love really is music. If all the stuff he's created over the past year and a half is that good, he should look in2 dropping a double album.
  5. Just cuz Tra-Knox is on Born To Reign dosen't mean that it's lyrically weak...it just means there is less rapping on it since he waz sharing some of the limelight. He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper had alot of DJ trax...dose that make it lyrically weak. The lyrics on Born To Reign are definitly on point. It's just the sound that many of us would like tweaked.

Oh yeah, Jim...the reason "Candy" and "All About You" sound similar is cuz they both sample Cameo's song "Candy"...ha ha...just like Mariah Carey did with "Loverboy" and 100 other artists. It's one of the most heavily sampled songs ever. The beat just naturally has a feel-good kinda vibe, that's why the song waz a hit and why so many people sample it.
  6. Havn't we known he waz still working on music anyway?? Anyways, Timbaland is one of my favorite modern producers and i can't wait 2 hear something created by the both of them. I got Brandy's new album 2day and Timbaland is all over it (replacing Rodney Jerkins' place) and the result is great. I waz surprised that 2 artists like themselves who have strong images already in place can blend the way they do.

I like all the stuff on Timbaland's (+ Magoo's albums) and think they are amoungst the best of modern Hip-Hop albums so this is real music 2 my ears if Will chooses 2 work with people outside of A Touch of Jazz. I think their chemistry is will be blazing cuz Timbaland coming from VA has that mid-east coast vibe Will grew up with. They both have a crazy sense of humor and make respectable music. Timbaland has a strong old skool background that not alot of people know about. I'm just happy 2 hear that newz!!

"Willows Is A Player" sounded kinda inspired by Timbaland's sound.
  7. I've never seen picks of his house. Only like parts of the backyard/pool. And maybe one pic taken inside. U think the way that they have the "press" bugging them, we'd see more of it. Now that i think about it, i remember reading that they have it fenced off...which would decrease the amount of slimy photographers who would try getting pix of the house.
  8. Reading the lyrics and hearing the song are 2 different things...but here's the lyrics 2 the battle. Maybe one of music-online freaks can find snippets or the entire songs online and link them here. PARENTAL ADVISORY: EXPLICT LYRICS

    [Canibus]
I'm the illest nigga alive, watch me prove it
I snatch your crown witcha head still attatched to it
Canibus is the type who'll fight for mics
Beatin niggaz to death and beatin dead niggaz to life
When you look at me long enough, I start to read your thoughts
if the signal was strong enough, and then I'll call your bluff
like, "Yo, how many rhymes you got?" I think I'll go on
for more Milleniums than Mazda's got on the car lot
And there's nowhere to run ta, when I confront ya
Nigga, I call your bluff like you had a phone number
Who wanna see Canibus get wild, who wanna act fly and
get shot down with a surface-to-air missile
I take em on in all shapes sizes and forms and spit on
anybody who ain't close enough to **** on
Zero to sixty? I'm already doin a hundred
when I'm blunted and I give it to any nigga that want it

    [LL Cool J]
When young sons fantasize of borrowing flows
tell little shorty with the big mouth the bank is closed (yeah, word up)
The symbol on my arm is off limits to challengers
You hold the rusty swords I swing the Excalibur
How dare you step up in my dimension
Your little ass should be somewher cryin on detention
Watch your mouth better yet hold your tongue
I'ma do this **** for free this time this one's for fun
Blow you to pieces, leave you covered in feces
with one thesis ("LL Cool J is hard")
Every little boy wanna pick up the mic
and try to run with the big boys and live up to the real hype
But that's like pickin up a ball, playin with Mike
Swingin at Ken Griffey or challengin Roy to a fight
    Snappin, you ameteur MC's
Don't you know I'm like the Dream Team tourin overseas
For rappers in my circle I'm a deadly disease
Ringmaster, bringin a tiger cub to his knees (uhh)
In the history of rap they've never seen such prominence
Your naive confidence gets crushed by my dominance (word up)
Now let's get back to this mic on my arm
If it ever left my side it'd transform into a time bomb
You don't wanna borrow that, you wanna idolize
And you don't wanna make me mad nigga you wanna socalize
And I'm daring every MC in the game
to play yourself out position, and mention my name
I make a rhyme for every syllable in your name
Go platinum for every time your grimy ass was on the train
Watch your mouth don't ever step out of line
LL Cool J nigga, greatest of all time[/color]
    __________

    [color=orange]Second Round Knockout (Extended Version)

    [Mike Tyson]
Hey Mike Tyson here speakin with the Canibus man over here
Yo Canibus your main objective out here is to do nuttin but
eat eat eat eat MC's, for lunch, breakfast
Hey man they been playin me all my life man
You know I won a title a couple a times did right
No but they can't hurt us man
We gonna do it, get up in this ring man, put on these gloves
Let me show you how to handle this li'l nigga

    [Verse One - Canibus]

Yo I'ma let the world know the truth!
You don't want me to shine
You studied my rhyme, then you laced your vocals after mine
That's a bitch move, somethin that a homo rapper would do
So when you say that you platinum, you only droppin clues
I studied your background, read the book that you wrote
Researched the footnotes, 'bout how you used to sniff coke
Frontin like a drug free role model, you disgust me
I know bitches that seen you smoke weed recently
You walk around showin off your body cause it sells
Plus to avoid the fact that you ain't got skills
Mad at me cause I kick that **** real niggas feel
While 99% of your fans wear high heels
    >From Ice-T to Kool Moe Dee to Jay-Z
Now you wanna **** with me? You must be crazy!
You drippin with wack juice, and you can't get it off
You better be prepared to finish what you start, nigga!

    [Referee] - (Canibus in parentheses)
Hey hey hey hey, you just hold it right there
    (Yo, get off me man)
We got an illegal low blow on the fighter in the blue trunks
(Yo, yo get the **** off me man)
If I see one more of those, you're outta here brotha
(Yo get out my way man, yo he started this ****)
    You understand? (**** you!)
You'll be disqualified (I'll bite that nigga again!)
Stop bein a bitch (Get the **** off me man!)
We came to see a fight

    [Mike Tyson]
Yo Canibus man you gotta hit harder than that man
You don't want no bitch ass niggaz hangin out wit me man
We're warriors man, when we go into battle
we come out, or don't come out at all!

    [Verse Two - Canibus]
Yo, you better give me the respect that I deserve or I'ma take it by force
Blast you with a 45 colt, make you summersault
Shock you with a couple hundred thousand volt thunderbolts
Before you wanted a war, now you wanna talk
It's about who strikes the hardest not who strikes first
That's why I laugh when I hear that wack ass verse
That **** was the worse, rhyme I ever heard in my life
Cause the greatest rapper of all time died on March 9th
God bless his soul rest in peace kid
It's because of him now at least I know What Beef is
It's not what I would call this, see this is something different
A faggot nigga trying to make a living off of dissing
Somebody that he's got to know is better than him
but he's feelin himself, cause he got more cheddar than him
Well let me tell you something, you might got more cash than me
But you ain't got the skills to eat a nigga's ass like me
And if you really want to show off, we can get it on
Live in front of the cameras on your own sitcom
I'll let you kick a verse, **** it, I'll let you kick em all
I'd even wait for the studio audience to applaud [cheers]

Now watch me rip the tat from your arm
Kick you in the groin, stick you for your Vanguard award
In front of your mom your 1st, 2nd and 3rd born
Make your wife get on the horn call Minister Farrakhan
So he could persuade me to squash it, I'd saw naw he started it
He forgot what a hardcore artist is
A hardcore artist is a dangerous man, such as myself
trained to run 20 miles in soft sand
On or off land, programmed to kick hundreds of bars off hand
from a lost and forgotten land, you done did it man
You done spitted some wack ****tit
And probably thought that because it's been a minute I'd forget it?
**** that! 'Cause like Common and Cube I see The Bitch In You
and I'ma make the world see it too, mother****er!

    [Verse Three - Canibus]
I'll battle you on the net
I'll battle you in the flesh
I'll battle you over the phone, you can call me collect
I'll battle you for the respect
I'll battle you over a blank check
I'll battle you with a gun to my neck
'Cause battling's my favorite hobby that's probably why you despise me
We can battle in Hot 97's lobby
Constantly battling, out in the streets
Or Battle of The Beats, we can let Angie referee
Inside the jail y'all fenced prisoners look tense
Armed with shanks waiting for the battle commence
    Ladies and gents,
pick up the phone and call in the side with the highest
    ?pennant and decide the wench?
Lowest versus the highest, I'll start a riot
You're a virus, you run around screaming "Stop The Violence!"
I rip mics tighter than pliers
You say you the greatest of all time?
    You're a liar, your time's expired
You no longer have what Hip Hop requires, so retire!!![/color]

    [color=red]The Ripper Strikes Back

We just gon have some fun with hip hop
A lil hip hop... relax, hold on to ya seats
Oh yeah this is a Tunnel banger too
    Word up, Tunnel banger baby
    Hip-Hop style baby, y'all remember

By the middle of March, when the pregnancy starts
In your ladies' placenta, that means L just entered
Duck taped your little bitch ass for frontin
You poor little crackhead ass ain't hurtin nuttin
Nigga you want the fame, now you're famous overnight
Famous for getting ****ed by a stick of dynamite
You're weak nigga, you bout to die up in your sleep
The overlord of rap will never meet defeat
Pain and agony, I don't touch them zones
****ing everlasting lyrical methods is my throne
Blast ya fifty pound ass and make you float
You read it shook nigga, I wrote the book, nigga
Held down my crown for a decade and a half
Now I'm bout to give your grimy ass a blood bath
Talk about bein broke, nigga I'm rich
Cause I learned, to seperated the money from the bitch
Don't hate me cause I'm paid, hate me because
I'm everything you want to be : handsome, young, plus legendary
Talk about Farrakhan, nigga you got to call Jesse Jackson
    For some Affirmative Action

    Chorus:
    Can-I-Bus ! Yes you can!

Don't ever open your mouth and mention my seeds
Talk about my book you bought to read
You know you watch the sitcom nigga so stop that
Mad rapper, but now you turned mad actor
Forty-nine pounds and tryin to be a monster
Run around town with the Bob Marley imposters
Ask Canibus, he ain't understandin this
Cause ninety-nine percent of his fans, don't exist
I'm goin underground and blowin your rep down
Next time, save that **** for the Lyricist's Lounge
Or a House Party, where you can battle some clown
On top of all that, I beat your homeless ass down
Heard that convicted rapist on the record too
Fresh out of jail, ass cheeks still black and blue
Tell me bout the things ear biter taught you
How to bust a nut or two? (Yeah that's butta boo)
You be decomposin, but you frozen because my title's stolen
Steady rollin in a world that I'm controllin
Vanguard awards are for Kings who get OFF!
Clock platinum mountains, the praise of the Lord
Talkin bout my first and second and third born
Now I got a fourth, Canibus, but he cut off
From the riches of my empire, I'm like a pimp
Who thought he had to retire but found a new Canibus to hire
You're hardcore, innocence like Heather Hunter
But definitely not with the lyrics that drop thunder
Found you in a trash can, hat black, cause you scared to bust
    Nigga in Todd we trust

    Chorus

Now break it down for me !

See I, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, amateur, M,C's
in hip-hop, word up, no bull****
    Oh I ain't done yet

You soft as a newborn baby takin a nap
Make my dick hard with that bitch ass track
Where you at? Smokin in some one room flat
Suckin on Clef's dick hopin to come back
Never that, nigga my size is unlimited
Yours is prohibited, of course that's contributed
To not knowin ya limits and who you need to test
When you step into the house of the Lord and get blessed
Get on your knees, bow down to my degrees
Young slacker, save that demo for Jack the Rapper
You gargoyle, slash olive oil, pussycat
I wrapped up in aluminum foil, ready to boil
I'ma tear the skin off ya ass with ten knuckles
Rhymes was weak, they made me chuckle like a name buckle
You call em lyrics, nigga you need to stop
You goin out --- ahh **** it, you goin pop
I feed you a poisonous verse so don't try it
No more rhymin, you on a lyric fast diet
Call the paramedic and tell them that he pathetic
His lyrics ain't energetic you're sweet as a diabetic
Career be over next year, yeah I said it
Look over your shoulder nigga, where you headed
MUTHA****A, where's a rhyme when you need it?
First rule of lyrical war, never repeat it
You said that same bull**** at House of Blues
Lit the pipe, dropped the match, and sparked the wrong fuse
That's you, yeah nigga I'm goin at you
Stop basin', and you can be a role model too
Diss my moms, who's the real Rap Don ?
Who ruled for fifteen years and drops bombs ?
Who's got solid gold Grammy's that say Todd
while you dropped verses at niggas' proms
Faggot, you better battle number two
Cause number one, got his title locked down son
The King of all rappers that ever graced the stage
or the mic, best that ever did it I'm wicked
Write a verse and flip it, melt it down to liquid
And drown shorty, fill his lungs until I rip it
Chest busts open, heart bursts and smokin
YOU SEE THAT NIGGA SON? (Damn L, we was only jokin)
    Maneuver manipulate brainwaves transform
your thought process, when my pen gets erect
    Warning, all MC's better retreat
Look at corny-bus, he can't walk down his own street
Better run and get the Fugees
Cause I EAT, EAT, EAT, MC's
Devour they titles, cause I'm an idol slash icon
And tell Wyclef, don't even turn his ****in mic on
Sold ya nigga, thought I told ya nigga
Crossover, slam dunk, game over nigga (one more time son)
Sold ya nigga, thought I told ya nigga
Crossover, slam dunk, game over nigga

    Chorus

" Now wait for the studio audience to applaud, faggot, hahahah "[/color]__________

    (Phone Rings)

    [Phone Voice Sample]
If you'd like to make a call, dial your operator
If you need help, try, try again
    Try, try again

    [Wyclef Jean]
I got it started to my face
I got it started to my face, right?
What you thought, there wasn't gonna be no retaliation?
    Ha, ha, ha
    You gotta be kiddin'!
You call my name four times on a record?
    Heh, heh!

    (Phone Rings)
    [Phone Voice Sample]
If you need help, try, try again
    Try again

    [Wyclef Jean]
Yo, "Return of Jack the Ripper," what? Nigga please
I'ma push you further back than your hairline recedes
New York City, don't get it confused
Your song will last as long as your part in "Krush Groove"
Body moves, the battles, bullets, the lesson
You write about being a veteran, but not a legend
Back from the war with thirty-two medals of honor
You claimin' underground but never been to Bobbito the Barber
Gimme them medals back, since you forgot how to rap
Call DJ Bobcat and ask him where them old records at
Like Channel Five karate, my kick is gonna reach ya
A new episode where the student kills the teacher
Any last words before I send you to your dream?
    Hold my hands and pray
    [lyrics in Creole]
    You don't got knowledge yourself
So you don't know what that mean, a'ight?
Who suped you up to do the record in the first place?
It lacked taste, you get "The Gas Face" like 3rd Bass
L.L. stands for Lickin' Lyor, or Lickin' Lichty
Lickin' Lyles, Lickin' Labels, lickin' they balls
    Under the conference room table
When you hear this record, you bound to go AWOL
I worked too hard, for this life is serious
    This ain't bulls-eye, I ain't your target practice
So call Mr. Martin, I rarely kill often
But in this sound clash, I got a bodybuilder's coffin
Back from Miami where your record got no heat
That's why your Def Jam interns call it "Battle of the Beats"
    You're weak nigga!

    [The Product]
    What's your question?

    [Chorus]
What's Clef got to do with this, got to do with this?
    What's Clef?
I'm not a Bob Marley impostor
What's Clef got to do with this, got to do with this?
Tell your ghost writers, "Go write something better"

    (Phone Rings)

    [Wyclef Jean]
    Guess who? Uh-oh, uh-oh
    Here we go-o, uh-oh
Every two records you do scenario
You get the best MCs, how? To rhyme first
Of course you rap last, so you can show off your skirt
    I guess it didn't work on "4 3 2 1"
You got out done by Canibus the young gun
Your last weapon, is to call out Wyclef Jean
Not knowing that you callin' fire for your cremation
Jammin' and cool, sumpthin' like you
    Jamaicans say, "L.L. a fool"
Kids wet too who do the pool
Let bells ring like Sunday school
L.L. Cool J is hard as hell?
So hard at night he's Jezebel
    I heard the teller, Himmemel
How you think he wrote the song?
    Rock the bells!

    [The Product]
    Yo, Clef
I know you got styles, but get back to the issue kid
    This is real!

    [Wyclef Jean]
Yo, don't get me angry, like the Hulk, I’ll turn green
Your marriage is a cover up, 'cause you use Vaseline
Fun love of hip-hop, these lyrics got you steamed
Knowing damn well that bad men don't wear g-strings
Another side of Clef, the face you won't seein' oppressed
I even got the Devil worshippers sayin', "God bless"
You star struck, and I'ma buck you like Carlito
And when they say, "Who did it?," you tell them Benny Blanco
Wyclef, preacher's son, check the revelation
Polygram buy Def Jam for twenty million
MCA buy Polygram for eleven billion
I come to Sony and get pimped by the Haitian-Sicilians
And I'll even, get you an ad in "The Source"
You'll be the first rapper selling products for hair loss
    The W-Y-C-L-E-F, Wyclef
The return of Jack the Ripper was only to meet his death
The next time, you wanna dis me for kicks
Get off my dick, go somewhere and lick your lips, bitch!

What's Clef got to do with this, got to do with this?
    What's Clef?
I'm not a muscle man impostor
What's Clef got to do with this, got to do with this?
Watch what you ask for, 'cause you just might get it

    [Naomi Campbell]

    [color=red]Rasta Imposter

    Intro:
What you got to do with it? What the **** you talkin about?
What the **** you got to do with it? You stupid nigga? You stupid?
Did you see that video, nigga? **** wrong with you? Like you don't,
you don't know what you go to do with it. Like your ****in insane or
something. (You ****in wack ass nigga)
    (laughing in background)

    [Verse One]
Y'all faggots is weak, y'all starstruck niggas think **** is sweet
That busy signal bull**** is dead up in the street
Heard that garbage dough jam, made me reminisce
On when heard your man's wack **** and went to take up his
Jealous faggot man cause I'm richer than y'all
When I load my desertees, I'm picturin y'all
On the streets of Queens where I was raised and born, hardcore
And stood on every corner like a liquor store
Clips full of hollowtips, follow loose lips
Aimin at your clique and make em cough up my chips
Bitch, ya niggas wanna see if I'm ill?
Wanna see how many rappers can be killed, how much blood can spill?
When I inject this lyrical drill, if I can't do it, the dumb-dumbs will
Tell that nigga to tell his man to tell that nigga
I send the wolves to kill that nigga
If you wanna know why, its cause I'm still that nigga
Michael Jordan of all this rap ****, pullin the trigger
What the ****? You on a mission to self-destruct
And have the nerve to let the chickenhead model cluck
Your swervin nigga, better follow the white lines
Your up on the sidewalk, off course, read the sign
I'm so ill, y'all niggas is so wack
Your whole crew is such, y'all lack the hard impact
Far as your man go, I got young niggas that wanna get him
Treat him like a Philly, wet'im and split'im

    Chorus
L.L. don't lose niggas, we can do it however you choose nigga
One on one or round up the crews nigga
But Can-I-Blast you out your shoes nigga
    You know the rules nigga!
    *repeat*

    [Verse Two]
Queens ****, give me cream so I can grab my dick
Sew that ****, what the **** y'all niggas workin with?
Backwards, ass-jerk, jumpin up out the woodwork
Ridin my meat, tryin to critique my physique
A real nigga wouldn't even mention my lips
Can't believe you went there, no I know you a bitch
    Sugar-coated nigga, deep-throated nigga
Young guns take a pull before they quote a nigga
Yeah, I wrote it nigga for all my real live devoted niggas
I'm a true and livin lyrically ill poet nigga
So what you talkin bout? That ****s supposed to be hot?
Y'all niggas on the warpath, y'all takin over my block?
I think not, matter of fact your not aloud to rap no more
And if you hear this in the club sneak out the backdoor
And if you bumpin in your ride make sure your windows is up
and your tint's passed the limit
So they don't know a faggot's in it!
I'm L.L. and I did this to you
Teflon waitin for every nigga runnin with you
Rhymes hit you, lace you up again and split you
Niggas ain't official thats why Mom Dukes miss you
Tell your man bring it on, I'm only gettin warm
Never die, never quit, and my money's long
Punk ass crab nigga, talkin bout his lips
Constantly involvin my name with that bull****!
Why I diss you? You stepped up in the ring
Ice jinglin in the video like you the next Don King
And tell your man I know he got some lyrics in the stash
But I'm the best that ever did it, now get this motheruckin ass
Mic's too hot to hold, leave it in the sand
So I can describe the picture with both hands
You must not understand who's in command
I got all the flavor, but y'all niggas is mad bland

    Chorus

    [Verse Three]
I'll cut your ****in head off and leave it on your mom's dresser
Then pay the pope a hundred thou to go and bless her
You wanna test a lyrical teacher and professor?
I bet y'all niggas fall off now that your under pressure
I don't stress ya, yet still I must check ya
Extort niggas for gettin ****ed up, stop and inspect ya
**** wrong with you nigga? You can't do nothin to me
If I put a slug in you on the low, you'd probably try to sue me
Your girl blew me, I said "Now!" She said "Do me"
Bust a nut in her face on tape to let the crew see
Can't put dirt roll, nigga poppin ****
Underestimantin what Queens niggas'll do for chips
    I originated all this ****
The ice, the champagne, the bitches on the dick
That really don't apply to you crabs in a barrel
Mic's my staff sendin you a message like Pharaoh
Leave it alone or get swallowed in the sea
The King of Hiphop is something you could never be
My crown you'll never see, I'll rule forever, G
I'll be goin platinum when you just a memory
    I'm the double L, capital C, double O
With the seven upside down jakes slayin the clown

What the **** wrong wit y'all niggas? You out your mind nigga?
You better try to go beg Lauryn to come back or something
    **** wrong with you?[/color]

    __________

    [color=orange]Rip the Jacker

Calling all dogs, calling all dogs
Be on the look out for a big homo nigga with dimples
And I'ma let y'all know somethin', it ain't just start here
We've been preyin' on that ass since "Jack the Ripper"
And now its time to rip it to the jacker

    (ahhhhhhhhhhh .....)

    [Verse 1]
No rapper could rap quite like I can
You know who the **** I am, I'm the canibus man
I had to rock to a beat like this to show you
That I'm iller then the future, the present, and the old you
I told you, wish you could take it all back don't you
Tried to smoke some canibus but canibus smoked you
Calling yourself the greatest is something you don't do
Cause after I humiliate you what will the G.O.A.T. do
You can't rap or act my main man
You goin' end up as an intern working for Def Jam
See you was never bad enough to battle with Canibus
You out of luck, I crushed you the minute I got tatted up
And every lie you told just added up cause you wasn't man enough
To be fair, but I'm mad a **** and I've had enough
Jack the ripper or I'ma rip the jacker
Rape a rapper with a classic from his own masters
    You're dead

    [Verse 2]
There's a rumor going around that I got dropped
200,000 albums sold at 10 dollars a pop
300,000 albums were shipped, you do the math
Thats 3 million in 3 months so kiss my ass
All these magazines tried to steamroll me to death
Guess what, the G.O.A.T. ain't platinum and neither is 'Clef
And I'm still here, inspite of all that **** them niggaz said
The skinny kid, the music industry's guinea pig
Tighter then ever, world's chief mic recka
Tougher then reverend run's mutha****in' leatha
I'm hardcore, cum shot right in your wife's face
You soft porn, you held hands on the first date
See when you was making records like I need love
Your homie Cornell was givin' it to you up the butt
Plus I heard Simone was the high school slut
And she learned how to **** before she knew how to cuss
    Nigga you're dead

    [Verse 3]
You married a slut and had kids with her to cover up your hustle
You and your man Russell made a better couple
Your probably mad as ****, wondering where I got the information from
Your being watched even when you take a dump
Its impossible to front, you can't hide
The chairs at your label got ears and the walls got eyes
Your living one big lie the world just don't know
You take a polygraph test that **** would probably explode
The truth is mr. smith you got a ****ed up attitude
God knows that I pitty your fans for backing you
Yo, this be the realest **** I ever wrote
You should change your mutha****in' name from G.O.A.T. to G.L.O.A.T.
The Greatest Liar Of All Time that cannot rhyme
That cannot shine as long as I'm alive
Your prime ended 8 months before '99
And that microphone on your arm will always be mine
    Nigga you're dead

    [Verse 4]
I told you to leave it alone, but you was too stubborn
Now your in a world where the hunter becomes the hunted
Your wife is scared cause she don't want to lose a husband
And somebody keeps paging you putting 4321 in
You can't sleep at night thinking about the drama
**** stains all up in your phat farm pijamas
Even f.u.b.u. gear looks hot until it touches you
Probably because your father undoubtedly butt-****ed you
Mama said knock who out? I'll punch that bitch in the mouth
Cause she don't know what she talking about
Ay yo, do me a favor when you see your ghostwriters
Tell them the rhymes they wrote for you should have been a lot tighter
You could have asked me, I'll write you some lines
I'll do anything for the greatest loser of all time
You still drippin' with wack juice 'cause you wack nigga
If you want the last word you can have it, I'm still iller
    You're dead[/color]

    __________

    [color=red]Back Where I Belong

    [adlib]
Yo, yea, aight after this particular practice run
I'ma practice both verses, after this, I want you to find a spot
That's close to when the beat drops to the rewind point, locate point
You ain't gotta be on that all night, this the soundtrack
    Yo, Yea, Check it
    ok, alright, huh ok

    [Verse 1]
The other night I was up at Farmers, politican wit some bloods
They told me "yo L, in the streets you aint gettin no Love
And Ever since the X's and the Jiggas came out
my niggas aint tryin to the hear that smooth **** you talk about
What's Up wit that cat Canibus, some played you out
Why you didn't answer back correctly, **** was that about?"
as I sip on some henny, and try to explain some things
about the life of a legend, and all the Drama it brings
been gone a long time, had a lot of **** on my mind
I decided I don't want to reach my goal if it means losing my shine
Streets is Hip-hop and I'm Hip-Hop, so the streets is Mine
Ballin' as long as you been livin', that's a long time
Hard to Stay hungry when your pockets are so fat
You hit a hot one in every city on the map
And niggas keep sleepin' and you keep coming back
You know better than the gat, but niggas still wanna clap

    [Chorus][Ja Rule]
It feels so good to be back Where I Belong
The Streets is Where I Belong
They Had me locked down much too long
    Hey Hey

    [Verse 2]
Some Say "L that's cool, but see times have changed"
Niggas got red bandanas, and the grill in the range
That gold **** is dead, niggas rock platinum chains
Trade O.E. for Henny, Colt 45 for champagne
Hustling niggas found they way into the game
Extorting all these so called ballers wit big names
And you gotta have a squad, cuz running from Def aint safe
I know you living good, but aint no smile up on our face
I'm like a villain, I'm representing on my lyrics
and force feed the world, even if they don't want to hear it
As far as Canibus go, my man is hittin' his ex-broad
I'm getting head from his new piece
While 20 gang-bangers applaud, you came up with that bull****
Some heads sucked it up, then you dropped that garbage album
And Totally ****ed it up, I coulda told ya I knew your moms
From the after-hours spot, when I used to be up in Canada
With the dreads on a black block, before you dick rode Lost Boyz
For a ticket our to Jersey, but being the man I am
I tried to show ya mercy, I coulda told the World
The way ya label hates your guts
And how me and Wyclef, got together to set you up
And how he gave me half your budget, don't believe me look it up
Ya A&R promotion niggas, they helped me hook it up
I hate to be responsible, for destroying your career
    A one-hit wonder, huh
No Wonder you disappeared, I coulda told the world
You get your lyrics from the internet
Then spit 'em word for word
Like you really a rap vet, How you take metaphors from books
And put 'em in your rhyme, and how you really from Canada
And you been frontin' all this time
I heard your second album, that **** is garbage too
LL Cool J and I did this to you
    On that note he said
"Yo L, you the man", I said peace, one love
And Drove off in the Lex Land

    [adlib]
Yea nigga, the jig is up nigga, huh ha
You know what I'm sayin?, all that bull**** you was talking
Dont mean ****, you finish now

MIC still on my arm nigga, word up
Both arms, I'ma get another one nigga
You Know what I'm sayin, this LL you know how I get down
You should of known, when you did it
He probably did it to get some fame
but is this really what you want? Hahahahahahahha[/color]
  9. I don't think Canibus won...cuz i never heard a reply from him after "The Ripper Strikes Back." I'm sure he said stuff...but it waz never heard except by the 7 people who have gone out and supported his more recent stuff. I think L.L.'s answers 2 Canibus were hilarious...beyond trash talking...L.L. waz having fun with it rather than taking it real serious. I heard alot of Canibus' early stuff and i just don't like it. The production waz weak, his voice annoyed me, i didn't like his flow...and while he did have some clever lyrics, i think he waz overrated at the time cuz they really didn't stand out 2 me. I'm not calling him Ludacris or anything but he just never impressed me. L.L. still went after him on G.O.A.T. also. I think that kinda finished it all off.

I just think he's a whiney lil' punk cuz after his 1st album flopped commercially, he attacked Wyclef. Wyclef had his back, got him recognized, helped him get most of his fanbase, put his album 2gether...DID EVERYTHING 4 HIM...then he dissed him. I look at it this way, Wyclef is a big hit maker...look at his solo career, not 2 mention giving Pras his only big hit and making hits for John Forte and City High. If Wyclef can make hits with all these people who were new artists at the time, why couldn't Canibus make a hit when he already had a buzz about him. That just tells me he can't deliver what people really wanna hear.

I also don't think L.L. had 2 respond 2 him...but when he took Canibus' verse on "4,3,2,1" as diss on song 4 his own album, it gave him a good reason 2 take a shot at him. Then, after making a stupid move as a new jack rapper taking on a vet...L.L. just laffed since he didn't have anything at steak and tore him apart cuz he waz hungry 2.

Did Canibus ever answer "The Ripper Strikes Back" cuz i'd love 2 hear it. I heard Wyclef's answer 2 "Rasta Impasta" on his freestyle on one of Tony Touch's mistapes and it waz pretty wack.
  10. I remember reading that when the album 1st came out. Thanx 4 posting it again. Born To Reign is very much a summertime album for me. Of all the times i've listened 2 it for long periods of time, 90% of it has been in the summertime. His other albums kinda serve a certain season 4 me, but Born To Reign strongly sounds better 2 me in the summertime. Just listening 2 it takes me back 2 the summer of 2002. I think it's u-neek sound which makes some people think it's his worst album is what makes me associate with the summertime so much.
  11. Awhile back, alot of us would be on AOL Instant Messenger so it waz easy 2 have chats thru' AOL and schedule chats. If anyone has AIM, then list your name here so we can be on each others Buddy Lists and go from there.

    djsilvertiger, the west coast is 3 hours behind the east coast...for instance, it's about 1 a.m. here...so it's about 10 p.m. where u are.

It wouldn't be a problem for me 2 visit the chat around 6 or 7 p.m. except i usually don't spend nites at the crib...if i'm not working, i'm always out.
  12. Hey, I've talked about these b4 and if anyone is interested in these let me know ASAP. For those of u who are interested in getting their hands on the Will Smith Austria "Freakin' It" CD single which has the Album Version, the similar House Mix, the Instrumental to the House Mix AND "HOLLA BACK," now is the time. For those that don't know, "Holla Back" is a song Will completed shortly after dropping Willennium and it's not included on any album. It actually one of the best songs he's ever recorded and copies of this are kinda rare.

I can also hook a few people who with various Tatyana Ali CD import singles. The "Daydreamin'" ones feature various remixes on them (one version has the b-side "Never Leave You Lonely"...not on any album). The "Boy You Knock Me Out" singles feature the remix with a verse from Will (and various remixes). I can also probably find a few "Just Cruisin'" CD singles which feature the ultra-smooth Trackmasters Remix.

Import CD singles for about $10 and sometimes more and are usually hard 2 finding depending on where u live and how old they are (all of these are at least 3 years old.) Why i can get a few more of the "Freakin' It" CD singles, the Tatyana Ali ones are running low and if i get these for people, i need to do it within the next 2 days.

I can get these singles brand new and still stealed at a decent price so if u let me know, i can ship one to you for a total of $10 (covering the CD, packaging, shipping, and handling). I'll have to ask for $2 extra dollars from people who live overseas. And if u want more than one, let me know so i can see how much it'll cost. So that i can get them at the discount price, please let me know your interest in them NOW. If u are someone who dosen't know me well, u can ask other members on this board since i've hooked many of them up in the past. I don't rip people off.

I will take payments of US cash thru' the mail or payments thru' PayPal. If u have any ?uestions or are interested, let me know ASAP so that i can get these at the discount price 4 u.

Just contact me thru' a Private Message on this board or e-mail me thru' my Profile.

p.s. For those of u who i already picked up stuff but u havn't sent your payements, get a hold of me cuz i have the singles ready 2 go.
  13. [quote=lambertj3,Jun 28 2004, 08:18 AM]top dawg you call wanksta pop? no thats gangsta, 21 questions is r&b , none of them songs are pop, what ja rule does is pop . Have you seen 50 dress up like grease for a music video? now to the vote benzino is trash (becuz he dissed my boy 50)[/quote]
I don't think any of these guys are pop, they just make Rap 4 the mainstream with no consider of it's real roots. I don't like Ja-Rule, but who cares if he based a music video off Grease. I think the IDEA of it waz great, but Murder Inc. sucked at pulling it off. Another thing, thinking an artist sucks becuz they dissed your favorite artist is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. Kool Moe Dee and Wyclef dissed L.L. in the past (one of my top favs)...but that dosen't mean i'ma stop liking them and their music....that's just silly.
  14. Lil' Romeo vs. Benzino!?! I havn't heard much stuff from either of them (cuz their singles havn't interested me enuff 2 check them out). I'll say Benzino tho' cuz Lil' Romeo is young and has plenty of time 2 develop as an artist (and hopefully dosen't wanna be as wack as good ol' dad).

About the singing tho'?!?! Who really cares if an emcee sings on a track. If they can truly carry a tune, more power 2 them. Queen Latifah has built her career as being an emcee who can break in2 song whenever she wants. Coolio said himself said he'd be a singer if he didn't suck...ha ha. When it comes 2 Ja-Rule, it's just bad tho'. He sucks at rapping..and singing the way he dose is just illegal.

Here's some rappers u may wanna consider 4 the list....Trina, Memphis Bleek, Amil, Mia X, Silkk The Shocker. That's some trash 4 the ears right there!!
  15. Like i've said b4...JJ+FP is worldwide. I saw the performances when they aired and 2 me, i wazn't laughing at the audience who looked like they'd hardly heard any Hip-Hop in their life, i just thought it waz cool 2 JJ+FP getting that kinda love period since it wazn't exactly a Hip-Hop event. Who better 2 represent Hip-Hop in 1993 than JJ+FP...almost everything else waz faked-out gangsta.
