have yall seen this vid of rhymefest chillin @ jazzes. very cool short-film. especially when fest mentions jill scott in his line...that waz funny. n jeffs sons know really how to kick it too :) plus theres this real dope painting at the end with someone dunking on a playground, looks familiar. anyone knows this too?

yeah 9th wonder basses sound just too good to be copied.
check the forum out at the-breaks. theres a cat with a bunch of 9th wonder sample mixes, worth a listen. 7 volumes or so...
oh and btw since this is probably the right place to remind that jazzy jeffs cuts at the end of "watch me" are dope as hell!

hidding places is pretty easy though. its much more fun to chop up the hard stuff where 9th wonder uses like 10 different chops for a simple 5 second loop...

to tell the truth you did a sloppy job on the chopping. the sample is pretty cool and you play it in a real nice way but its way to stuttery. and the hi-hat sounds really cheap. but the idea of the beat turn out pretty nice though. just lackin on da little things.

glad to see im not the only one who thinks this is one of his dopest songs. will just kills the beat with the lyrics. one of the sickest rhymes ive ever heard by any rapper. always enjoy listening to that track again. come on guys give that classic joint a chance :2thumbs:

And yeah, the video version is a lot better.
yeah that new kidz on the block song is one of my favourite jjpf track. specially bought the cd version of that "Word" comp just to own it myself... the beat is so simple and yet so sick.. always keeps me noddin! and the fact that it had that vers of the brand new funk live version over that beat made me love it even more. oh and the way they cutted some parts on the live version is just dope: "you shoulda seen people dancin n shakin... " :gettinjiggywitit:

dope video kev! very funny too. feel like playin those games again right now! dont know all of those video games but the coolest part is where that girl is skating down the beach, fits perfectly. only thing irritating is the zoomed view an all the games.

he got a nice voice. most of the time he sounds dope but sometimes the pronunciation lacks "lass mir mein leben... blätter erzählen" specially on tracks where he raps faster for a couple of seconds.
btw. love your style 2. only at some points i get the impression you force your voice too much to sound a certain way that it sounds just too rough. would have loved to heard you spit something over that aesop rock beat!
keep it up. and holla if interested to collab on somn.

just checked the official site: didnt see any of these names. but ive seen dj scratch is gonna be there. ssc always rule und representing the frankfurt reggae scene ist soundboys destiny. now if jadakiss and nas would come to id defenatly go there... despite the 75 eur (btw guys interested in jadakiss check this remix)
